I was so glad I bought this, as first time parents we always feared squishing our baby while she slept with us. Very helpful since i was on bed rest. It has a little night light, which was WONDERFUL for night feedings without disturbing my husband. Also, kept my daughter's head a bit elevated. Fit perfectly between our pillows but we have a king size bed. One this i didnt like was, my daughter would slide down during the night. Also it became a little uncomfortable for her as soon as she got a little bigger. Worked perfect for the first month.

I think this product is probably great for newborns. However I did not buy until my son was 4 months and I was looking for a sleep positioner to keep him on his back (due to SIDS risk) as he was starting to roll over a lot. I bought the snuggle nest and put it in the pack and play (crib had not yet arrived at the time) and he started rolling all over it. Then we tried using it in our bed. First, it doesn't really leave much room for the parents if you are in a queen bed. Second, although I like that the mattress is harder than our bed, thus safer, and it allows him to sleep in a protected space within our bed, for his age it is very ineffective. The sleep positioner doesn't work as he is too big and active, so I have to use it without. Second, it doesn't work as well as expected for cosleeping. To breastfeed, I have to move the baby all the way down to the bottom of the nest, and then move him back up once he falls asleep. Unfortunately he wakes up every time I try to move him. They should make it so the stiff walls come down while breastfeeding, so you can keep the baby in the desired sleep position while feeding. However, I think for younger babies who are less active and perhaps drowsier, this is probably ideal.

We recently brought home a brand new baby girl and are spending our first few nights with her in our bed in the Snuggle Nest. We are a small couple (5'3 and 5'9, small frames) and while having the nest between us in a Queen bed is not 100% comfortable it is definitely "doable". And worth it - but keep your receipt until you try it out in your own Queen. It is much bulkier than you expect once it's in the bed! The only real problem is that the positioner makes your baby have to sleep with her arms over her head. Our baby doesn't like that and I feel it's a little narrow to swaddle her completely and wedge her in-between. As long as she can get used to it, we'll be set! Good idea, good purchase.

I use this product every nite when i put my son to sleep in his bassinet i love the lite fixture it illuminates the room just enough so i can see my sweet angel n keeps him positioned on his back easy to transport n trvel with and will definately help with the transition from his bassinet to crib
the only thing i dont like is it stains easily when they situp n u cant find other sheets for the snuggle nest my solution was i bought a sage green sheet saver n it fits perfectly in the nest n there u go problem solved

I needed something that would assist in co-sleeping for the first month or two. My daughter absolutely loves this sleeper!! It came highly recommended from several other parents. She's just over three months and sleeps so soundly in it.

I purchased this product prior to my daughter's birth as her crib was going to be in my bedroom until remodeling was completed throughout the rest of the house. I loved the Snuggle Nest and more importantly so did my daughter.

Using it in her crib gave her the sense of security and closeness that babies enjoy. The mattress pad was comfortable as was the positioner, the LED light was great for the middle of the night and it was easy to clean. I also enjoyed the fact that it was portable and easy to set up just about anywhere in the house or on the road. The only complaint that I have is that I couldn't find extra sheets anywhere and often found myself washing them every other day due to spit up, etc.

this thing was a gift to my sister who has had a baby recently! she loves it. so soft and protects the baby! Her hubby doesnt like it because he said he cant cuddle wid her due to that being in the middle of the bed! but its about bonding right? a great gift and recommend for all first time and multiple times mommies!

We really loved our Snuggle Nest. Our son wasn't wanting to sleep anywhere besides our arms so we got this being prepared to put him in our bed. Even though he slept, it was a habit we didn't want to start, so at 3 weeks, we moved the Snuggle Nest to his crib. Now he is almost 3 months and we finally just took it out of his crib because he was running out of room. We kept the wedge in and we are seeing how that works on its own. We also traveled with it and it worked great.

I gave 4 stars though because nothing is perfect! The cover on it is a bit rough, but my son didn't seem to mind.

We used this for the first few months after my son was born since he was nursing around the clock. I loved having my son near me but also safe since the hard plastic sides of the Snuggle Nest made it impossible for my husband and I to roll over him. What is truly outstanding about this product is that when we wanted to transition my son at age 4 months to his crib, we simply moved the Snuggle Nest to the crib. Since it was so familiar to him, he slept just fine in the crib. What a relief to us both! We highly recommend this product.

My daughter has reflux and cannot lie flat on her back. With this she is able to sleep well wherever she may be. During the day, she naps in it in her crib and at night she sleeps in it in the pack and play. When she started sleeping in it, I had the bumpers in...then she outgrew it so we just left one in...and now they are both out and she's almost 3 months old. My experience with this product has been positive and I feel it keeps her safer when she's sleeping.

Meet expectations. I love this product holds my son tight and he loves it. He wants me to hold him all day, and this is the only way he will let me put him down for a nap.

Also this saved us from buying a new bassinet because he slides all over it in (bertini bassinet) we put the "snuggle nest" inside of the bassinet and he stays in position.

MY baby used this until she was 5 months. We put this in our pack and play for the first 3 months and we took it with us when we went out of town. This product keep her happy and comfy. I love it and and baby loved it also.

My baby would have nothing to do with his bassinet (birkshire pack & play), so my mom bought this for us and my son loves it. He sleeps well, especially when he's swaddled. We do have a king size bed to fit all of us nicely.

Baby sleeps so well with this, and so did I! She likes being near me so this is the perfect way to be close and safe and get some well needed rest. The crib worked well during the 1st mo but after that she started waking up too often and not wanting to be put down. 7wk old fits well in it with room to grow so we can use it for quite a while.

I got this as a baby shower gift and was so happy about it. I thought it would be great and I would feel more secure having her right next to me for the first few months. We put her in it the first night home and she hated it. We have tried several times to put her back in it and she still screams. I am sad because it is so cute and now it just sits under our bed not being used!

The top of this thing has a very hard plastic light that is very close to baby's head. It doesn't really prevent the baby from sliding sideways in bed. We might use it while traveling since it is light and portable.

We loved the snugglenest. Not only was it the perfect and safe way to keep her next to us at night, it was also IDEAL for travel. Eventually, she did grow out of it (of course) but it was fine because by that time I felt safe having her directly in the bed.

Really a great product and concept. Made me feel very safe the first few weeks with our newborn in our bed. The LED light was quite helpful. That being said, I had a pretty small baby and I already feel like he's outgrown it at 6 weeks. Very nice gift that we loved, but rather expensive for the short amount of time we used it.

I love this product. I had a c-section and jumping out of bed a couple times a night just to put a pacifier back in was out of the question. It also made my husband less cranky, bc he didn't have to get out of bed to do it either. The light is also a great feature. Others complained that the mattress was too hard, but that is what pediatricians recommend anyways. It makes me feel more comfortable knowing that he wont suffocate in my soft bedding. Great for breast-feeding moms too.
