As a second-time mama, I've been putting price ahead of brand and appearance, making sure only to get good quality and safe products. I'd heard of Baby Trend before, but always went more toward the better-known brands. This time around, the price was right and so were the safety ratings, so I bought the travel system. I was amazed when the pieces arrived. Not only did everything go together easily, but it feels like the sturdiest travel system I've ever used. The construction is solid and wonderfully easy to use. This carseat base feels like an anchor to keep the carrier - and my baby - safely in place.

This carseat is one of the few that are narrow enough to fit three carseats in my car's backseat. I needed an extra base for my mom's car and it is inexpensive and easy to set up. Would recommend!

This is a must have for anyone who has more than one vehicle and own a Baby Trend car seat. I no longer have to transfer the base from car to car or go through the hassel of trying to buckle her in using the car seat alone. Now, no matter who has the baby, it's no longer a struggle getting her in and out of the vehicle.

only problem i had with this product is that it does not come with an extra locking clip which we need since neither of our vehicles is LATCH equipped. luckily for us (I guess) is that it fit better in the center position in our truck than a side position so we ended up not needing the clip after all but would have been an issue had we needed to put it on a side position.

With this extra base, we don't have to switch bases from car to car. In case you need to know, this is completely compatible with EZ Flex-Loc car seats. And the LATCH installation couldn't be easier.

We bought a second base so that we wouldn't have to keep switching cars every time we wanted to drive a different car. It is rather difficult to install in the car, but I'm sure that makes it even safer. But once it is installed, putting the carseat in and out is a breeze! I only wish we had newer cars so we could take advantage of the latch system.

Great price, easy to use, simple install, good directions. Only draw back is the seat adjustment button is a bit of a pain, but other than that, it is a wonderful value and very easy to install! Love the Baby Trend set!

Just had a new Grandson and have a 4yr. old Grand son same daughter. needed base to carry baby and other Grandson same time. Works perfect. Easy to use fits like a glove, it is just an all around great product. I would recommend the Baby Trend Flex-Loc infant car seat base to anyone and everyone! Love it and use it. Great product!

I bought this as a baby shower gift along with the stroller/car seat. I installed the base into my daught-in-laws car. It was very easy to install, much easier than my youngest son's 7 years ago!
You could adjust the base angle so there was no need for a swim noodle/rolled up towel like I used for my youngest son. The strap hooked on to the latch system very easily with the metal hook/latch.

So we bought the seat as well but needed a base for the 2nd car. It is an easy install and latches well. The only thing weird is that you can't tell if the base is at the right level unless you put the actual seat on it. I have seen other base systems and the level is on the base so you can set it up in any car and the seat will be level when you pick up your child. Important when it is 2 degrees outside and you do not have time to adjust the seat because you and your baby are freezing.

For our second child's car seat, we went with Baby Trend, rather than Graco because of the high Consumer Report ratings. This base is priced better at Walmart.com than anywhere else. I ordered it on a Friday morning and received it the very next day! Installation was a breeze. Can't wait to use it!

We bought this car seat base for our second grandchild because we wanted the convenience of having our own base. We resisted buying one for the first grandbaby and it was a mistake.
It takes some effort to install it because we have to use the seatbelt to secure the seat. Having our own seat base for the infant carrier and booster seat for the older child makes life much simpler.

I love this product it was not available on baby trends web site to purchase directly but it was the cheapest out of the many other large store chains in the area. With Site to Store it was even easier to get this product. No additional shipping or handling charges were added to the bill and I visit the local walmart at least once every other week.
Great now that both mom and dad have a car seat base in both their cars to take our son around in. The flex lock system was awarded a #1 rating for accomplishments on their production.
Set up was easy it came ready to install (no assembly required). just open the box set adjustment level and wall-a. You got an extra car seat base!
