Bought this car seat for my daughter along with the twin baby trend stroller. I already had a car seat from my older son and this time was having twins! I wanted a girlie car seat for my daughter and to have it fit in the double stroller. The twins are not quite four months old, less than 16 pounds and already the seat seems too tight and I believe I have the straps as far as they can go. I keep messing with it to give more slack with the straps but it's not working. May see if i can return it and get a different one?? Can't see how this is going to fit when she's ten months?? The triangular carry handle is definetly helpful.

Liked the handle and the easy adjust straps and that was it. This car seat is very hard to get a baby buckled in due to the way the 5 point harness works.Also it gets dirty easy and stains vey badly and is hard to wash and get back together.

This was the perfect 1st car seat for our munchkin! It was very comfortable to carry around and our daughter was very comfy in it. It's easy to take apart to clean, which is a major plus. I honestly have no complaints about this car seat. It fit in our small car well, we just had to put a towel under it to get it leveled.

I have been using this car seat for about 8wks and so far so good. Now in the beginning my husband and me was really wondering how well it would really be. When we went to put our daughter in it when we got released from the hospital it took us about 20 minutes because we could not figure out how to adjust the straps but we figured it out and we love the car seat and now that we know how to adjust the straps it's easy!!

Its different than the rest, not too girlie, easy to get in and out, its a little heavy but i don't know any car seat that isn't. The only think that i wish it came with was the insert for the baby's head when they are small. I am always getting compliments on it. shes only 5 months

I bought this originally for the design of it. I liked that it wasn't overwhelming, but quite cute for my little girl. However, after using it for a while it has some great features, like easy adjust for the shoulder straps. I also love that it tilts, it kept my preemie from the 'head bob' when she was asleep. The only negative I have is cleaning it. The fabric is washable, but I have to figure out how to pull it off. But over all it looks great and works wonderfully. A HUGE plus is the clips that come with it to install in a car. Extremely easy and fast to use. Plus I have noticed it holds the base much safer then using a seat belt!

We got this for our daughter a week before she was born. I totally loved the pattern and how it was different from anything else you would find. It wasnt cheesey like other. The base is soooo easy to get in the car. Everything is easy to adjust. The only part I was not a fan of was the buckle. When our daughter was about 9 months old she would start to fight getting in the seat and trying to keep the two straps together with the plastic clips was difficult while trying to buckel her in.
Over all I really did love this car seat. It was very comfortable for our daughter and the handle made it very easy to carry her around. Also, it fits great in booths in restaurants.

I absolutley love this car seat! I purchased this and the stroller and they make an amazing travel system! I searched and searched for the perfect stroller/carseat and was in love with this design. I read the reviews and was not happy! but once I got into the store and got to see it upclose for myself I knew it was perfect! its so light and so sturdy in the car! Don't believe all the reviews you read online!

This seat is VERY easy to install and to switch in and out of cars. It's easy to adjust and you can disconnect the seat from the base with ease, it snaps back on to the base like a charm. I see a lot of people complain about the bottom buckle, I did not have any problem with it whatsoever. I did not however like the handle very well, I ended up carrying the seat with my forearm most of the time.
Also, I have a small backseat and I like how well this seat fit into my car.
I liked the adjustable base, it was very easy to use too.

My daughter is now 10 months, I've had this car seat since she was born. She now weighs 17 lbs. & 28.5 inches and I have no problem putting her in the seat. I noticed a lot of bad comments about the buckle, it is a very EASY buckle(better than Graco's 2 prong one). The base also fits very snugly into my mini van or SUV, does not move AT ALL(I use the latch only). I constantly move it back & forth between the two cars. It takes me a matter of 1 min. to switch it to the other car using the latch. Also, the adjustable headrest is great! You can adjust it with them buckled in the car seat while they are sleeping, it's that easy. I had a Graco for my son and I HATED the fact that you had to take the whole car seat apart every time my son got too tall plus many other things. He also outgrew his Graco by the time he was 9 months, 20 lbs. and 29 inches. Baby Trend really made a great car seat,it's easy to install, easy to remove from the base, and it's beautiful. The ONLY con I will give this car seat is it's heavy. If you have any problems with the car seat, READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL!!!! I read the whole thing before my daughter was born, and I haven't had any problems with the seat.

I got this carseat as a gift for my daughter and absolutely fell in love with it. I've had it for 9 months but sadly my babygirl is now too tall for it. It's easy to install, easy to adjust, and easy to strap her in and oh so stylish. My husband admits his favorite feature about it is it's handle. He can care her so many different ways.

This carseat is so awkward to buckle baby in. There is not enough slack in the straps and he is 10 weeks old and 14lbs and already too big for it. He was never comfortable in it. I used it for a few weeks and then invested in a Chicco and LOVE it! It's so much better!

I have been using this seat for 4 months, it is very pretty and easy to install. I love how easy it is to adjust the straps in the back, the only dislike about the carseat is the puzzle buckle before you can buckle baby in, but after time it gets easier. The stroller is awful to fold up! The bar to the basket sticks clear out and has to be jammed correctly into my SUV trunk to get it shut. But has great shade coverage when seat is in stroller.

I bought this carseat for my 3rd child. I wish I would have looked at it better at the store. I got it home out of the box and I could not get it to buckel. Thge plastic buckel is a pain in the but. I tried several times then put it back in the box. I dont want to have to have such an issues buckling in my daughter, we are always on the go. I will go back and spend more money on a better product.

I am a stay at home mom so I am constantly running errands with my little girl by myself while my husband is at work. The seat is very heavy and she is only 5 months old and is very cramped in the seat. The buckle is very difficult to secure because it is in two pieces that need to be matched together perfectly before you can "click" it into place. I also do not feel like the base is very secure. I had it installed by a firefighter and the front of it still moves side to side a little too much for my comfortability.

When my husband and i went shopping he said he didn't want anything that wouldn't be gender neutral (even though we knew we were having a girl). Well i let him pick everything out and he LOVED the gabriella set. It started with a playard. Then he noticed you could turn the carseat and stroller into a travel system which was great and now we have the high chair. The carseat is beautiful and we've received many compliments on it. It fits into the stroller great and has excellent sun coverage when there together. Love the triangle handle. While the carseat is a little heavy as my daughter is getting bigger it feels/looks very safe and secure. Not a big fan of the puzzle piece snap between the legs.. As shes gotten bigger its hard to snap. But shes 11 months old. 20 lbs 10 ozs, 27.5 inches long, and she STILL fits in it great. Not sure how others have had issues with their children not fitting. The base fits well after its adjusted to the seat but a back release would have been nice (bottom release isnt a problem in our car '03 grandam). overall we love it. (for newborns i recommend an extra headrest with it.

Bought two of these car seats for my twin girls. Used it for a full year and really have no complaints.
The design is super cute and the handle is unique. Most people liked this feature. I don't know any different, as these are my first babies. =)
Overall... I was happy with these seats and my girls were always comfortable in them. I even fed them there bottles in them daily! No complaints from them at all!

After having 3 boys we wanted something really girly for our little princess on the way. After searching around my hubby found this one and we love it. If you want your little one to be comfortable and look like a real princess this is the one. It is a little heavy like mentioned before but that is no problem for me and my hubby.

I'm thoroughly irritated with Baby Trend. The seat, as far as the construction and colors are untouchable, it's a BEAUTIFUL seat! I loved the handle and even found a way to add my daugter's links to the top of the "triangle" so that she could play with them! I received many compliments and I was very happy with my purchase!

My daughter is now 3 months, 13 pounds, and 23.5 inches long and the seat has become very cramped for her. She cries whenever she gets in it and the straps on the bottom cut into her thighs! I would say that this is a perfect newborn/preemie seat, but I doubt that anyone's child would make it to the 23/25 lb. weight limit.

My other issues would be with the rickety handle, it moves waaaay too much, the base (which is heavy, and I liked) which for some reason never felt too secure, and the base release which was located in the front of the carseat. I tried to overlook most of these values, but it got too much when she started to get bigger.

I bought a Graco Alano in Greer for her and love it. Of course the pattern that this carseat has is tooo cuute, but I put my daughter's saftey before any color, design or convenience.

This car seat is great! I love the design and it's very safe. We we're in an accident and neither the car seat nor the base moved at all, my daughter was completly protected. It is a little heavy, but I'd rather have a heavy car seat that protects my little girl than a lighter one thats not as safe.

I've been using this seat since my daughter was born at 6lbs. She is now 7 months & I am still using it and still happy with it. Yes, the buckle is a little bit tricky at first, but then you get used to it. I love the base & that all you need to do is hook both latches into the hooks under the back seat & it stays sturdy. Haven't had any problems with the handle being awkward or coming apart. I just carry it on my arm (in the elbow crease) like a purse while I hold my 2.5y/o's hand with the other..The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is a little bit heavy, but I'm 5'1" and petite so that's to be expected. Overall, I would recommend this seat to others.

The handle to release the carseat from the base is up under the feet, where the carseat rests very snuggly against the back of my vehicle seat. So you have to shove your hand between the seat and the carseat and 'feel' for the release lever. The carseat is a little heavy and awkward to carry. But it is easy to adjust the straps and seems to be sturdy & safe.

I have the set. It is beautiful and stylish. I do receive many compliments on both the carseat and stroller. The carseat is a bit heavy and slighty smaller than a few others on the market. After becoming comfortable with the buckle, it is no longer a problem to fasten.

I had this seat for just under 3 months. When I first used it I found out it is really heavy. I just returned it because the handle started to loosen. When the handle is up it had a little wiggle to it. However that got worse and my daughter is only 12lbs. I was afraid it was eventually going to give out. I would not buy this seat again. Even if it is cute my daughters safety is more important.

The straps have too long of a connecting piece and cannot be pulled tight enough to fit snugly in a Chrysler Town & Country. It looks nice, and everything works fine, but it wiggles way beyond any acceptable level, and we cannot safely use it.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased this car seat. It is very pretty but I would NEVER recommend it. It is so heavy and very awkward to carry. It was easier just to carry my daughter in my arms than it was to carry the seat. I never had any trouble buckling the seat and it was very easy to snap on the base. It seems to be very comfortable to my daughter but I would definitely consider another seat first!!

This car seat is way to heavy. I have twins so I have two of them to carry around..not very easy when you can hardly lift the seat without a baby in it. The crouch buckle is a "puzzle buckle" and very hard to snap. I would never have bought this if I had know it was so hard to buckle. It is a very cute car seat and my girls feel very comfortable in them. They always fall asleep when in them, but I will never buy this kind again!

This carseat is so cute! I get so many complements on it. I have the whole set and its really cute. On the other had its pretty hard to fasten, it usually takes multiple times to fasten and with a screaming colicy baby thats a downer! It says u cant machine wash the cover on the tag but I did and it was fine just used gentle cycle and cold water then hung to dry. It seems smaller then other car seats so im not sure how long she will fit in it. Another thing was I bought a reall ycute head rest for it but then it wouldnt fit so be sure to try it out b4 washinng the head positioner if u get one.

This is a fantastic car seat. It is very safe. My 5 mo month old daughter and I were involved in a horrible car accident and she was in this car seat. I feel very confident saying it saved her live. I loved this car seat when I saw it - it is definitely a cute pattern. But I agree with others - it is the heaviest car seat I have ever owned (I have four daughters - so we've been through our fair share). You might think it isn't a big deal, but carry twins around in it and even when they weighed 7 lbs (aftr gaining a few pounds form birth) and you get tired fast. It does work really well with the double snap and go - which is an awesome product and a lifesaver. So if you are considering purchasing two of these, definitely spend the money for the snap & go. It will make toting these heavy seats everywhere much easier.

This carseat is SO heavy to carry and the strange angle of the handle hurts your wrist after a while. The base creates an unusual angle for my baby so her head kind of tilts over. Plus it does not secure very well. I quit using the base and started strapping it in with the seatbelt. It made it more of a comfortable angle for my daughter and it didn't roll over when I turned like it did with the base. I would have purchased a new one, but this was a gift and I did not want to offend the people who purchased it for me. However I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A BABY TREND CARSEAT AGAIN. Horrible seat.

Has worked well with twin girls, as the seat adjusted while preemies, and continues to grow with them. The bases are easily installed, and the seats clean easily. Took me a few minutes at first to figure out how to adjust the straps for growth, and the straps do seem to twist easily. We have the double snap and go car seat carrier, and it is a lifesaver! Have recommended the Baby Trend system to other.

I used this car seat for my daughter, she is 9 months. The only great thing about this car seat is that it is stylish and easy to put in your car. The cons about this product is that the seat is entirely toooooo HEAVY. It is extremely difficult to carry. It does not stay secure in your car as well, when you hit sharp bend your baby will be feeling that as her car seat tips over! My daughter ripped the shade and foot cover off the car seat!!! It is extremely poorly constructed! Also the straps are hard to adjust and often tangle very easy!!! Moms out there do yourself a favor and do not buy this car seat!

This carseat is absolutly adorable. Just sucks that my daughter grew out of it so soon. The straps werent long enough for when she got bigger, which to me is funny because she was only 15lbs and about 22 inches long and its suppose to go up to 30lbs and 30 inches long. Anyways she was completely uncomfortable being in it. Not to mention it was heavy as hell...but what carseat isnt...? = )

My daughter is now 7 months old, and I love this car seat. The base is so easy to latch and unlatch to the vehicle latch system, and easy to balance and tighten. I also love the straps. You don't have to unthread the entire belt to tighten and loosen it. I had a Graco with both of my boys, and have found that this car seat is much easier to deal with!

I have used this seat for my twin girls that are now 6 months old. Overall I find it a good seat. It fits well in our minivan and is easy to intall. We used borrowed seat when we were on vacation and we felt that these seats were studier than the ones we used. It is easy to lift into the base. The girls' heads are protected well, better than the other seats we used and the straps can be adjusted without rethreading. the base is LATCH equipped. The crotch buckle can be a little difficult to buckle and this seat may be a bit smaller than other infant car seats. Overall I am happy with our purchase and would suggest this item to a friend. The car seats are very durable and look as good as the day we bought them. Also the Baby Trend double snap in stroller is perfect for these car seats and has been a lifesaver for this Mom of twins.

I love this product.This is the second one I have purchased, my first was 7 years ago. I love the shape of the handle easy to carry over my forearm while i hold my 4 year olds hand. I have owned other brands with my older children and they would pinch my hands. My daughter is almost 14 months she is 29 inches and 20 lbs and she fits well her legs are getting a little long but even in another seat she will still be rear facing and i will still have the same issue. Also the seat fits great in my minivan it does not press against the seat in front of it!

My daughter is tall for 8 months, but this seat has been easy to adjust as she has grown. I have found it to be heavier than the seat I used for my older daughter, but it's sturdier as well. It's very easy to install. I have to move it from car to car several times a week and do so with very little trouble compared to the Graco seat of my oldest daughter and the seats my 6 nieces and nephews have used. All car seats are a bit difficult to carry, install, and adjust at first, but, when I compare this seat to all others with which I've had experience, I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

I was so excited to recieve this at my baby shower. I don't understand what everyone else is complaining about. My child is 10mo old and 20lbs and she fits perfect in this. I adjust the straps and she grows with it. I enjoy this handle its easier to grip. I also absolutly love the colors and iit's very easy to clean! It also is EXTREMLY easy to adjust, its right in the front and you jsut pull on the shoulder straps, a lot easier then any other i have seen.

We were recently in a bad car accident with our 4 week old Daughter. A drunk driver blew a stop sign and hit our Acura doing 75+ MPH. Our car flipped and spun, and when we were able to get to our newborn she was still alseep in this Baby Trend carseat! After a trip to Children's Hospital, she was given a clean bill of health! This carseat is one of the safest on the market, and I'm glad I bought it!

Very cute! But.. Its way to heavy, my daughter is 6 months and i already switched her to a different car seat! The head support isn't much support for a new born and u cant install another head support because it wont fit in with the one that came with the seat, the release lever is in the front of the seat making it hard to get out of the car seeing as u must squeeze your hand between. In order to buckle u must over lap which is a pain! The handle is not that easy to carry, and the straps don't loosen enough! Not worth all the hassle.

I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about because I think this car seat is great! I don't know if people didn't read the instruction manual as far as the straps go or what, because it is SUPER easy to do. There is a a release button underneath a flap of fabric (don't worry this doesn't look tacky at all) and all you do is push that button and pull on the straps in the back of the seat and they loosen up. Also the seat release is EXTREMELY easy to use. I always have my daughter when running errands and I love how easily the seat pops right out. But when it is latched in I also feel that it is very secure. Trust me I really checked it out before I ever put her in there! Also the removable cover was great for this winter. I could just tuck her blanket it there and it would stay put keeping her nice and warm. I do agree that the overlapping lower buckle can be a pain, but that would be my only complaint about this seat. Also, my husband said the base was really easy to install in my car. The pattern is great and the fabric is really soft.

I love this seat and picked it mostly for its design but after some research I found that Baby Trend's seats got good reviews overall. My complaint about the seat is the styrofoam head support. I purchased newborn and infant head supports to fit her better, but once she got too big for the newborn support I wasn't able to use the infant head support because it wouldn't fit with the styrofoam support. I use a rolled up receving blanket to support her head now because otherwise it would be flopping all over the place. After reading the manual more closely and figuring out how to use the seat, it is really easy to adjust.

In response to some of the complaints other mom's have, the straps are tight but are easily adjusted (from just in front of the black buckle). Once we read the manual and figured this out it was so easy. Also it isn't safe to have a heavy coat or winter suit on a baby while in the seat for those who said it was hard to fit in while wearing bulkier clothes. The other thing I must add is that I'm pretty sure all 5 point harnesses have the black pieces that have to fit together before going into the buckle at the crotch strap.

I bought this car seat because my husband asked that I get a Baby Trend for the handle. It was the only "girly" design they had, and I am SO glad we bought it. The straps get twisted sometimes, and I've had to adjust the buckle and the straps a few times, but this is without a doubt the best infant car seat I've ever used (this is my 3rd child). Even better is the fact that it's good until they're 30 pounds so I can use it longer than my other ones.

I must say i loved this design and pattern but i hate the seat it worked wonders til she was 3-4 months old! then it was hard to buckle and the straps cut in to her so bad plus the straps twist and make it hard to twist back! i have a 5 mth old and shes already to big for this and i have to buy a new one

this carseat is not made for ease! first of all, there are 2 red bottons you have to push on either side of the handle to drop it back to put your baby in the carseat. when you have a baby in your arms or dont have someone to help you, this is really a pain to deal with! the rubber handle will almost rip the skin from your arm when carring it with your child in the seat! the release latch is on the front which faces the seat & is really hard to dig your hand between the seat to realese it & is really hard for my grandmother who keeps her while i work! also, it has a buckle that has to stack on top of each other & then buckles into the other part which is really hard & probably the worst part about this carseat! as far as saftey, it seems to be good(but dont take my word for it!) and this is my first child so im learning alot about what to look for in certian products! now i know what not to buy!

My daughter is now 16lbs at 5 1/2 months old and we still use this seat. She seems to be getting a little tall for it, so we may have to switch soon, but we've loved this seat.
The straps are easy to adjust in order to get her heavy winter coat on underneath them. I just loosen them all the way, strap her in and then tighten them...Simple.
It is a heavy seat, but I prefer to carry a heavy carseat and know that my baby is safe. We've been very happy with this seat!

I have this car seat for my 2 month daughter and I love the pattern of the material but I have to say I am very disappointed with the safety of the carrier. I have a 2005 Nissan Xterra and there seems to be no secure way to install the base. If you use the car's seat belt or if you use the straps that buckle to the metal tabs the base is very lose. Once while takeing off on a turn the car seat tipped over while my baby was in it. This is my second baby and I know how to install a car seat but this seems not work well either way. I am looking into returning it for a different brand or model. Cute design bad mechanics.

This carseat, thankfully, was given to us at a baby shower. I wish there were a way to test the product before actually purchasing it. The handle sticks, it's extremely hard to remove from the base because the release button is between the carseat and the seat of the car, and my worst complaint is that my daughter is only 4 months old and about 14 pounds and the seat is too small for her. Please don't buy this product!!!

Pro: Very cute fabric, get compliments all of the time; triangle design on handle is comfortable when carrying

Con: Release handle is hard to get to, you have to squeeze your hand between the carseat and the actual seat of the car; very difficult to work 5 point harness especially with a squirmy or fussy baby; the base doesn't seem to fit real snug in our vehicle; when put in the matching stroller it sits almost straight up

It looks like more cons than pros but would still recommend the product, it's not the easiest carseat I've ever used but we haven't gotten used to it

Very pretty car seat. Holds baby in tight. Car seat by itself is heavy, with baby it's even heavier. Fits into matching stroller and comes with a base that can stay in the car.

Dont like the way the 5 point harnes clicks in, its weirdly set up, also my baby is 18 pounds at 2 months and the seat belt leaves marks on her cubby legs, altough its set up to the longest.

It's a very pretty carseat and very durable. In order for me to secure it I have to rest my passenger seat against it or it moves all over.(this car seat requires handle in down locking position) This isn't a problem for me and its secure enough I just don't think that you should have to do that. Also I have owned a few 5 point harnesses and I think this one is the hardest to do. I still really like it though!!

I use this car seat daily for my 3 month old daughter. Being the mother of three I feel this is the worst design ever! It is not user friendly at all!
First, the base does not fit in my car well. It is very difficult to tighten the base into the car, therefore there is a lot of movement. You also have to unlatch the seat from the base at the front of the seat which is smashed up against the seat of the car. Second, the design of the 5 point harness is awful. You have to put the two pieces on top of each other, then click it in while trying to keep the pieces together. When you have a screaming baby this is one extra step not necessary. Third, the handle gets stuck! Fourth the stitching is coming undone on the fabric. The only good thing about this car seat is the cute fabric design, the side impact head protection and the fact that you don't have to take the harness out to adjust the height.

I registered for this carseat and received it at my shower. I love the seat, the fabric is soft and durable and the pattern is perfect for me because I didn't want too much pink. I had a really hard time finding a seat that was durable, the colors that I wanted and most importantly safe and this seat has it all. The only thing that I do not like about it is that the buckle that goes in between the legs is kind of hard to click in because you have to do both sides at the same time. Other than that it is perfect! We also have the matching stroller which is great too.
