There are many carriers that work better than this. There are better carriers, including the Ergo and Beco Butterfly II, which can be used comfortably for babies and toddlers who weigh more than 15 pounds! This one is more expensive than the Ergo/Beco, it isn't useful for older, heavier babies, and you don't have the option to do comfy back carries. Plus, unlike the Ergo/Beco, your baby will be dangling by its crotch, which is uncomfortable for him, not to mention bad for his developing hips and spine. Just say NO to the Bjorn!

This carrier was very comfortable to wear although very difficult to put on. Could never use it while alone with my baby, only when my husband was there to help me put it on. Love the "active wear" material. Was breathable so I didn't have to worry about my baby overheating from too much body heat. This material was the reason I chose this carrier over the other Baby Bjorn models but if I had to do it all over again I think I'd go for the simpler one, just put on and slide baby in.

This is a good product but a bit pricey. It is very easy to put on and lightweight. My hubby and I use this baby carrier since our baby was 12 lbs. She is 17 lbs now and we are still using this carrier. We go walking and shopping with it everyday. I will buy it again!

I have over $200 invested in this carrier and carrier bibs. I cannot use this carrier. My daughter only weighs 13 lbs. and it kills my back. I have adjusted the straps and viewed the online demonstration video. Everything is adjusted properly it just does not work well for me. It makes my back ache after only a few minutes of wearing it. It also does not offer much cushion on the bottom portion where the baby sits. I am sadly disappointed with this product and do not recommend it.

My hubby got this for me for Christmas and I was soooo excited! This was my key to being able to get more done around the house! However, we were unable to adjust it to properly fit me! If the back straps were correct, the shoulders were too loose and vice versa. I'm 5'4" and 110lbs. We checked the box to see if there were different sizes based on the size of the adult, to no avail. Sadly, I'll be returning this.

This product is toooooooooooo tight! My baby is 16 lbs and he was super uncomfortable and especially me. Did not support my back nor my shoulders. Everyone told me he looked uncomfortable in this product. Test drive before picking a carrier!

I can not imagine not having this product.
I have used this for my son since he was 6 weeks old until now (4 months old). I do not leave the house without it and use it every single day. I tried the Moby wrap which I loved but my son hated it. I think it was to constricting for him as he never liked to be swaddled either. With the Baby Bjorn he falls asleep within minutes and wakes up looking around and can see everything I see. He loves it. I am glad I got the backsupport as I have never had a sore back carrying him.
My husband and I actually have to take turns carrying him because we both love it so much.

I love this product! It is great because it gives me my hands back! My baby loves to be in it and go on walks. His weight is distributed well.
One thing that i thought was confusing was to set it up the first time...once you have done it once, its easy. We had to have a friend show us which hooks went where.

This carrier was surprisingly comfortable and lightweight. We started using it with our 1 week old at 7.5lbs, and it worked very well. We used it mostly in the summer, even on hot days and for the most part both of us stayed cool. The mesh fabric is lightweight and allows air to move through. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the hight cost and lack of cool-looking colors available at the time of purchase.

I am a mom of 3 and a Nanny to many and have used lots of different carriers. This is by far the greatest and best carrier ever made! Baby is very comfortable and so I am. It's the end of summer and my baby did not once sweat in the carrier nor did I! The carrier is very easy to use, soft, and easy to clean. It's worth the price. No sweating , back achs,and every one was comfortable :)

our daughter is instantly soothed by the baby bjorn! we wear her around the house and around town. she's comfortable and safe in her bjorn, and it always puts her to sleep. we use it daily, and it's very easy to adjust the straps so that either my husband or i can put it on. i tried on one of the lower priced versions of the baby bjorn and thought this one had much better back support. i haven't had any back or shoulder pain during or after carrying my daughter around in the baby bjorn. highly recommended!

This is a great carrier. I bought this one because of the material that is supposed to allow air flow so my husband wouldn't get so hot carrying our daughter. Well, it is hot anyway. So don't spend your money on this one, just get the Bjorn Active...its a lot cheaper and has the same back support...which is great by the way. This is a great product, but the synergy is not worth the extra money because you are still hot carrying your child.

Extremely easy to put on & get the baby in. This carrier gave me my arms back to do household chores, grocery shopping, etc. My baby is 10 weeks old & loves it as well. She is able to be held close & her head is up to look around. She almost always falls asleep. It is comfortable - just need to have the straps in a snug fit. If loose then is will start to tire your shoulders & neck.

This is the best carrier offered by Baby Bjorn. I have tried every product. The Baby Bjorn Original gave me a back ache, even with just a 7 pound baby. The Baby Bjorn Active carrier has a great back support system, but the fabric is too hot and will make you sweat like crazy. The Synergy is worth the extra expense. Synergy combines the cool, comfortable, flexible mesh like fabric of the Air Carrier with the same back support as the Active carrier making it comfortable enough for long walks.

I love this carrier and so does my 11 week old daughter. It's easy to put on when I'm alone and makes life so much easier when shopping and running errands since she hates being in the car seat/stroller. It's simple to put on and take off unassisted. I only needed help the first time and the fabric is so soft that it doesn't cut her legs or anything like that. Plus it really is breathable since we are at the theme parks almost every weekend and she's comfortable. My only compaint is that the shoulder straps dig into your skin, but my husband has no probelm at all adjusting it to fit him quickly. I tried 4 sling carriers and never found one she liked until this one.
