We use this seat to feed our son when we are out on the go, in restaurants and at home. He's almost 9 months old and doesn't fit in his high chair yet, so this seat is a Godsend! We get comments from EVERYONE while we out about how cute and useful the chair is, and we could not agree more! If I had the money, this chair would be the ONE item I would buy for every baby shower gift! Buy this chair...you will love it!

The baby just turned 9 months old and we're putting it away... We'll miss it terribly! The chair sat on the counter (although they say not to) and he sat in it VERY happily while I did dishes and cooked for the last six months! The toy that comes with it is one of his favorites ever. He still fits in it, but now he's strong enough to push off with his legs and move it around... Scary! I recommend it to EVERYone!

We started our little boy in this chair at 11 weeks old. He can't sit up nor hold his neck all the way up on his own yet, but he is getting there. This chair provides secure support for him at this stage. He is interested in the toy and likes to hit it and flip it. This chair is a good option in addition to tummy time to keep the baby off his back (to prevent a flat head). As other reviewers said, it gives you a few moments peace if you need to work at the computer (I work from home sometimes), cook, or take a bath when the baby is awake. Smooth surface = easy to clean, as well.

Our son loves this chair. We started propping him up in it at 3 months to help him "sit" and play, using the tray. He never seems to tire of the toy. He is 6 1/2 months now, and he still loves it. He prefers it to the bouncy chair, since he can sit and do so much more in this chair. It's very portable, easy to clean, and perfect for first feedings.

When I got this as a shower gift I was so happy. Unfortunately, my 4 month old who was in the 97th percentile did not fit in. I was so bummed. I had to trade it for the not as fancy Bumbo. I wish they would make it bigger. I will still recommend it for those who have average sized babies. It is so cute with the tray and toy.

We used this product with our son from age 3 months to 1 year. He sat in it while I cooked, did dishes, etc. We took it to the beach, and used it as a travel high chair. It was also a lifesaver when I needed a little time to unwind and take a bath. I just sat him right next to the bath tub. He played with the toy (it's great!) and I tallked to him, etc. Take the toy off and the tray is great for snacks too. I recommend this product to everyone. It's worth every penny.

this is ok. my baby is 4 months and will sit in the chair, though gets bored in it after a little while. i would love to set him on the counter or table while i prepared dinner but don't feel that is very safe so end up sitting him on the floor, which he doesn't particularly like. the main thing i wanted to comment on was the size. it is plenty big for him, and he is in the 50th percentile. also, my 4 year old niece can fit into it still, so i'm not sure why people are saying their babies are too big. my 6 year old niece can even wedge herself into it. Have not tried the bumbo so can't comment on that.

This chair is great! I used it from 3 1/2 months on. Our little boy loved that he could sit up and we would take it with us to the beach and to friends houses to use as a travel high chair. We are very happy with our purchase.

My son has been sitting in this since he was about 3 months old. He enjoyed sitting in it without the tray and toy attached, but as he got a little older and more curious, he has loved playing with the toy now.

I tried the bumbo at a friends house and went to the store to buy one when I saw the Bebepod. I really liked the tray, inserts, and toy that came with it. What sold me was the safety straps that were not available on the bumbo. My daughter is 3.5 months old and in the 95th %ile. She's `4 pounds. I use a towel to make her stay upright. She can sit in this for about 15 to 20 minutes before she begins to fuss. I hope that I can get her to sit longer. TRY BOTH OUT IN THE STORE BEFORE YOU COMMIT. Your baby might like one over the other.

There was a long period of time when I didn't think this item was going to be useful at all. Now, we use it all the time and my son enjoys being able to change positions. It's great for feedings before they can sit in a high chair. It is really anti-slip and doesn't tip over at all. I like the portability of it too. As far as fitting the baby, you just need to use it at the age-appropriate time. Since it's rather expensive, that window of time may not be long enough for some people and that's the only reason I'm giving it four stars. Our son is in the 97th percentile, he is 22 pounds and fits in it fine. It does fit closely over his legs, but no problems at the moment.

My daughter hated sitting in this chair and would try so hard to get out of it and then just cry. Its nice that it comes with a toy that can be attached but it's not held down good enough. My daughter has pulled on the toy and smacked herself a couple times in the face. That scream is definitely not easy on the ears!
Bumbo is much better and softer.

My daughter began using the pod at 3 1/2 months to support her while she sat up. She sat in it on the countertop while I cooked dinner, on the kitchen table while we ate dinner, and on the floor while I folded laundry. She has always been comfortable and content in it. She also loves the toy that it comes with. In fact, she plays with it when it is not attached to the tray. Now, at seven months, she eats her meals in it because it fits her better than her highchair does. Plus, the tray goes right into the dishwasher. We take it to Grandma's house, the cabin, and even to restaurants. I highly recommend this product.

My baby has never been comfortable in this chair. He is almost 6 months old now, and can almost sit on his own, but still slouches and falls to the side in this chair. Friends have sent pictures of their 3-month-olds sitting in the Bumbo, so I tried the Bebe Pod with our baby at 3 months. It provided him no support and he hated it. So I tried every few weeks, thinking that it would work better as he got stronger, but he still falls over and is not comfortable! I thought maybe it was because he is so tall, that the back doesn't come up high enough on him to give enough support. But last week I tried a friend's Bumbo and loved it! He was so comfortable and happy in it! Too bad he's 6 months old now and I'm not sure if it's worth the money to go out and buy the Bumbo at this point.

My son is 3 months old when I bought it. He has good head control, but slouches in it. It does not help him sit up as good as the bumpo. My son is in the 75th percentile. He also screams and throws himself back like he wants out. The good things is... he might use it longer than the bumbo because he will proberly out grow the bumbo sooner. Bottom line... try both out in the store with your baby before purchasing
