This product is great. It did take a little time getting used to. Our daughter was 5 weeks premature and she wasn't used to sleeping with anything in her crib. After a day or two she was totally comfortable. This head support also prevents flat head syndrome. This is a great item. Please do not use this item in a car seat or while the child in unsupervised.
No more flat head!

My baby started getting a flat head on day 3 of her life. After using this for about a week, her flat head was round again. Now I use it only a couple of naptimes a day since she likes to roll around now and the noggin keeps her a bit contained. Worth buying!

My daughter (9 weeks) prefers to lie on one side of her head more than the other and I was worried about her getting a flat spot. I move this pillow easily between her car seat, her bouncy, the floor...and I think it is working well. The pillow is very cute, the fabric is quality and it seems to be comfortable and effective.

We purchased this pillow after seeing our peditrician for our babies 2 month checkup. We were informed that her head looked flat on one side and that if it wasn't better in two months we would be referred to a specialist for her to be fitted with a helmet. I did some research and found this pillow at Babies R Us. It had very good reviews so I thought I would take the others advice and purchase it. Our baby sleeps well on it and I have no major concerns. The one concern I do have, but its at no fault of the pillow is that our babies head only measures at 10% so it is very tiny. It appears that her head is still too small for the pillow but I'm hoping that it is helping some with the flat area.

Our daughter developed a flat spot on her head by 9 weeks of age. We tried rotating her head while she was sleeping but she'd move right back. We read the reviews of all the others parents that tried this product and had so much positive feedback that we just had to try it for our Brooke. It's only been a week or so and we ALREADY notice a difference :). We bought two: one for crib (even though they say not to, we did it anyway while keeping a close eye on her), and the other is for everywhere else - bouncer, glider, play gym, etc. I'm so glad I got two. For busy moms that are bound to forget the pillow once you're in the nursery and about to put baby down and realize the pillow is out in the living room or something. No complaints, definitely worth a try for parents that are looking for SOMETHING to help with the flat spot.
Great product, PLEASE read directions!!

This is a great product and really helps with flat heads but please please read the directions of usage. This is NOT to be used in a car seat or a crib!
The directions even say to not use in a car seat. This should not be used in a crib either. Why would you knowingly put your child at risk for SIDS????

My daughter starting getting a flat spot. I ordered noggin nest online and love it. I use it in the stroller, swing, and in the crib until she can roll over. Within a week or so, the flat spot started to improve. The best thing is my daughter seems to like it!!

If you are working to help round one side of the head, this may not be the one for you. The support presses on the sides but leaves the back of the head without pressure. It is probably best to use in prevention or if there is flattening on the back of the head and if your baby has a smaller head (as the hole seems small). Two other concerns are that my daughter seemed to grow out of it fast (at around 4-5 months) and it seemed to push her head forward in the car seat and if she fell asleep her head would hang forward many times. It's a good concept but make sure it is right for your baby.

Like this product, I see that babie r us has finally changed the price. Before they were charging double what everyone else was selling it for. This is now a reasonable price. It helps my daughter stay off of her head to prevent it from getting flatter.
