The item was easy enough to assemble. I purchased it for my 6 month old becasue it was cheaper than most other bouncers. I have the evenflo with my 1st born & she absolutely loved it, and I thought this one would be similar. My gripes:
-there's no adjustment to the height other than one found on the seat when they get older.
-The bounce comes from the small pad on the bottom of the playpen, there's no springs on the legs.
-The toys are made of hard plastic and don't offer much room for dexterity.
-The seat doesn't swivel too easily.
-The arch kept disengaging when ever my little one tugged at it.
-When you lift baby, the seat comes right along with you, so it's burdensome having to re-insert the seat each time.
-I would have kept it despite all this but the worst part of it, MY SON DIDN'T LIKE IT.
My babysitter has the Baby Einstein & he seems to like that one. so I returned this one and now I'll be shopping around for the evenflo or babyeinstein. p.s. my sister bought it for her 8 month old, and she regrets the purchase too!

I liked the price. many of these stationary toys cost way too much for the short amount of time the baby uses them. the toys seem to fascinate my son, but they could have been softer and more flexible. they seem to be hard plastic. i like the hooks that you can add toys to. it was very easy to put together. my son is 4 month and 26 in long, but he cant quite touch the bottom of the toy yet. i wish it would have had an adjustable height (the seat buckle to provide support but that only helps when they get older). it is rather bulky but very easy to clean. the seat is supposed to turn 360 degrees but it doesnt turn easy, at least i can turn it but my son has trouble.

The product was extremely easy to put together - directions were great! I feel the toys could be a little softer - they're all hard plastic, but the babies seem to be amused by them. The seat turns 360, but they can't turn it on their own. Until they can support themselves up a little better, they lean forward in the seat, which looks a little uncomfortable. Its' a bit large, so make sure you have the room for it. Other than that, it's a decent purchase.
