This bouncer was given to me by my friend. My daughte was put in it by me when she was over a month old. I had to put a pillow under her when she was too small to even half-sit. But later I didnt use a pillow. it was just warm blankets that I put under her to keep her warm. It was used from the early days that made it easier later since she got used to it and that was the quick thing that puts her to sleep. I like this bouncer much. Eve now when she is over 4 months old I am still using it, to play with her or put her to sleep.

Absolutely love this bouncer. I was a little skeptical at first due to the price. I had a fisher price with my first baby and I have to say I wish Bright Starts had been around then. I can't tell a difference between the 2 except the price.
My friends bring their babies over and have tried it out and everyone loves it!!! The design is super cute too.
Definately recommend.

I run a daycare out of my home and soon after enrolling my first baby, last April, I realized I did not have enough hands to get everything done I needed to and hold her. I happened to be at Toys R Us to buy diapers and passed through the bouncer section. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, something that looked easily washable and moderately priced. After comparing all of the ones they carried I decided on this one, mostly because it looked just like all the others and it was on sale. The baby was about 8 weeks old when I first put her in it and she loved it from the beginning. She liked it so much that her parents went out and bought the exact same one for home. She is now 6 months old and has recently started on solids, I use this chair to feed her most of the time. It's not what it was made for and it does prove a little challenging when she's kicking her little legs and it's bouncing everywhere, but it will do just fine until I find an infant booster seat. When she first came to me she also spit up all the time so I was constantly washing the cover. I cannot believe how well it has held up. I have washed it practically every week since April and it still looks just as it did when I bought it. If I get another baby in the daycare soon, I will absolutely be buying another one. Bright Starts is an excellent company with great toys for good prices.
Too Steep

This bouncy is definitely too steep for my babies. When placed in it, their chins are basically touching their chests. The tension on the bouncy is much too tight which doesn't allow it to lean back far enough. I would step up and buy the Rain Forest bouncer as this is the model we have been most impressed with!

I bought this bouncer for my son and took it back the next day. It sits too upright, which was causing my son to pretty much hang from the safety strap, and when he fell asleep in it he was really slumped over because of the steep angle...looked very uncomfortable! He ended up extremely stuffed up from the way he was laying. It was also not very sturdy...it didn't use any screws to put together and the frame tubing was pretty thin. You get what you pay for! I returned it and got the hoppy days bouncer and I love that one! It's only $10 more and is so much better.

Our baby was colicky. The vibration on this bouncer was a lifesaver. Our baby sleeps in the bouncer overnight. (be sure to buckle) We suffered many sleepless nights til my sister shared this bouncer with us and we were sold on it. The seat cover comes off for easy cleaning, just throw it in the wash. The batteries change out with no headaches. It is a little bulky to carry from room to room but it is light and worth the bulkiness. If you are suffering with a colicky baby, I highly recommend this bouncer.
