i selected this carseat and stroller after reading many reviews. every item is going to have good and bad reviews but mine has been a wonderful experience. the only one thing is every time he comes out of it hes sweaty, heavy material. but a wonderful seat! the look is wonderful, EASY to install. overall use is so so easy. i would and do reccommend this to every new mom. LOVE IT!

This travel system is great overall. I love the Miro pattern and receive compliments on it all the time. The car seat installs very quick and easy and the fireman who installed it even commented about how great and safe Chicco car seats are compared to other brands. I love how easy the seat fits into the base and stroller with a simple click to let you know baby is secure. The stroller folds up/down very easy and fits nicely in our trunks, even in my husband's small Mazda Protege. I absolutely LOVE the turning radius and handling of the stroller. Very easy to manuver on all types of surfaces. The fabric on the infant seat cleans very easily in the washer. The fabric is easy to remove and I've washed mine on a few occasions due to accidents and it always comes out clean like new.

The only reason I can't give this product 5 stars is because of two things that are bothersome to me. When the stroller is laid down flat all the way for the infant seat, you can not access the basket. Very bothersome when out and about. My other complaint is that because of the snap design of the infant seat, it doesn't fit into ANY shopping carts or seat holders at restaurants. This is a bummer when shopping or out to eat.

I love this travel system. I used the stroller almost everyday. It opens and closes so easily and I can manuver it with one hand. The stroller fits in the trunk of my Jetta with some room to spare. I love the clicking locks. I hear the clicks and I know that my baby is safely in the car or stroller. The harness on the car seat is very easy to open and close and the pull cord for tightening the straps is easy to pull and release. This product would have recieved 5 stars if the harness in the stroller fit my baby better.

I love this travel system! We bought it right before we had our first baby girl. Mostly we got it cause of the differnt pattern on it. The seat is easy to carry an easy to put in the base. One thing I really don't like is that it wont latch onto a shopping car since how it clicks in the front. Other than that it is the best we have ever used!

Registered for this stroller b/c of the amazing reviews & safety results. I choose the Miro pattern for all of the coordinating items. Our little guy goes everywhere in style! We received this stroller [...] and it was like Christmas! A long wait full of excitement! Occasionally we would see other Chicco strollers around and ask the parents if they loved it, etc. Every single time the answer was, YES! Our daughter is due in 8 weeks and we simply cannot wait to put her little self into the carseat and take her home! Another plus, we live in Iowa City- so the Hawkeye colors are a major plus!

I purchased this one from Chicco cause when I bought it, it was not available through BRU. I got it in July 2009 when I had my little one. To this day I have not seen another stroller like it when we are out an about. I love the color and uniquiness of the design. It has great safety ratings and is easy to use one handed. I purchsed a Britax when we moved up only because it did have a little higher safety rating and had the design I wanted. However, I would purchase this again if we were to have another baby. I have no cons to mention for this set.

We will be using this travel system for our son that is due in two months. I bought a Chicco because they consistently got top ratings on all sites. When this arrived it only took my husband minutes to get the wheels on and figure out how to work it. It's a beautiful stroller and the fabric seems very high quality and durable. It's very quiet when pushing it and just glides across the floor. Can't wait to use it soon!!!

This is our third stroller system (one with each kid) and this one rolls the smoothest, has the best material and design, and is worth the extra money. We've bought the models at [...] which always worked fine but for the couple looking for a little easier time and the ability to lay your infinate down with out the car seat this is the model works well. I'd make this purchase again.

I bought this in May 2009 somewhere else, because BRU didn't have it in stock yet. I loved the funky pattern. I already knew that I wanted a Chicco after going to the store a few times and trying different systems. The car seat is great because it goes up to 30 pounds and got great consumer report ratings. I think it is a neutral pattern which worked for us, since we were expecting a surprise that turned out to be a boy!
I've been using it since he was a newborn with the insert and haven't had any issues. We just recently switched the car seat to our 2nd car, and he is almost a year! You won't have to worry about getting a convertible car seat the first year assuming your baby isn't in the higher percentiles. I am able to open and close with one hand while holding my baby, but the closing part requires some balancing with my leg. Depending on your car, the stroller may take up a lot of room in your trunk. It has a good amount of storage on the bottom, plus cup holders, phone & key compartment. And the bar to push the stroller is adjustable according to height. Handles great-we do a lot of walking, and I have yet to need to buy a jogging stroller. We plan on using it for the next baby. Highly recommend it.

I love love love this travel system! When my son was first born I tried to cheap out on the travel system and I bought a comparitively less expensive one. Let me tell you, you DO get what you pay for. I finally had enough and decided to try the Chicco. My nephew has the Cortina in a different color and his parents LOVE it! I especially like the fact that you can adjusted the straps while the baby is inside. Also the pattern is super cute! It was amazingly EASY to assemble as well. absolutely worth the money.

The first time I saw this I couldn't get my mind off of it! It's expensive, however it's definitely worth the pay. At the time I purchased it I received a $60 discount so that was even better. I use his travel system to walk around town, at the mall, and even in grassy area. It works great everwhere i go. I also love the colors, my son was aways fussy when I put him in thegraco snugride and once I put him in this one he never fussed. I also noticed how in the car as my husband ws driving that my sons head would not tilt as in the graco carseat i wouldbe afraid he would break his neck because the carseat had NO support at aLL. I am only dissapointed to only started using this travel system when my so as 6 months, if i had known how great it as I would have defintely bought it before and used the newbor insert. I am definetely using it with m nex child in 3 years or so. The carseat is prett heavy but that's why it can hold a baby until 30 lbs. So, knowing my son is in asafe carseat is wat matters to me. Tha basket is difficlt to access but that doesn't bother me because i PUT his bag over the handle or just get a mommy hook.

I love it the first time I saw it I fell in love. I had to buy it..used it yesterday for the first time and as son as I put my son in the car and as my husband was driving I noticed my son's head when he slept would not tip forward..that time I knew I had bought the perfect carseat. I had the graco snugride which was HORRIBLE. Very poor quality..I used it for almost 6 months until I decided to switch to Chicco. My son now almost 6 months loves the colors on this Miro and he's not fussy anymore when I put him in the car seat.

We got this travel system (in a different colour though). We love it. I was stoked on the fact that it is able to hold more weight than most other car-seats and strollers. I have heard nothing but great reviews of Chicco and their products.

Though the car-seat is a bit heavier than the other ones we tested, it really isn't that big of a deal to know our baby is very safe in this!

The stroller is a BREEZE to open and collapse. My only downfall is that when putting the car-seat in it, the basket is hard to use as the seat of the stroller has to be fully let down. Otherwise, it is great!

I did a lot of research on stroller systems and this one is everything I wanted. What I like about it:
1) It's very safe and easy to use. The infant carrier is top-rated by Consumer Reports, beating out several "fancy" brands. The car seat could not be easier to install.
2) It's not as heavy as some of the other travel systems out there - we "road-tested" many in the stores. It's very manageable to lift in and out of the car and set up.
3) It has many of the nice amenities high-end strollers come with but nowhere near the price.
4) It "drives" nice.
5) The pattern is unique and gender-neutral.
6) It has longevity in the sense that the infant carrier holds a baby up to 30 lbs and the stroller holds a toddler up to 50 lbs.

Many people offered their opinions as to what stroller system we should get and I learned pretty quickly about the "stroller envy" phenomenon. It secretly pleases me when people check out my stroller or compliment it - certainly no reason to buy it, but it is nice!

What's not to like? The carrier is heavier than other brands, and it does not have a notch to sit in a shopping cart - but I figure it's not a good idea to put an infant carrier on top of a shopping cart anyway, which is precisely why Chicco doesn't design it to do so! I either put the carrier inside the cart or wear my baby in a Bjorn carrier.

The Chicco travel system is a great all around stroller. The car seat easily clicks on to the base in the car. It can also be used without the base. I recommend getting the base. Quality is very good, solid feel both the car seat and stroller. The stroller is great. It has all the bells and whistles you need. Some people like bigger tires but the bigger the tires the more space it takes. The only con I can think of is that it can get heavy with the baby in the car seat. If you don't want to use the stroller all the time because it can get heavy I recommend getting the baby trend snap n go to use with your Chicco car seat and use the Chicco stroller later when the baby get's older or when the weather is bad.

LOVE this stroller! The colors are beautiful and the stroller is great quality! I could not be happier with this purchase! The car-seat also goes up to 30 lbs. Some chicco car-seats only go to 22 lbs. I would definitely purchase and recommend this product again and again!

The basket is difficult to use when the baby is young and still using the car-seat carrier. But once baby is older and can sit in the actual stroller without the carrier it will be fine! I bought a Mommy Hook to alleviate this issue. :)

I was torn between this and a Graco but went with this since it was smaller as a travel system then Graco. I LOVE it! I can unfold the stroller with 1 hand and it's easy to use. The carseat is easy to use and my daughter loves it. The newborn insert is perfect and I like that you can easliy adjust the harness for comfort. Installing the bases is a snap and getting her into the seat is just as easy. No it doesn't fit into the top of a cart, but I did not buy it to do that. I bought it to protect my child in case of a crash and so this is not a concern for me. I just put her in the bottom basket or go grocery shopping while she's with daddy or Grandma. It's well worth the money and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. We did not know the gender of our baby and plan to have more so the pattern was perfect. The only thing is that they get REALLY hot inside the seat. Even in winter. She had a bundle me over it, and a blanket inside over her, but never wore a winter outfit. She always stayed plenty warm just like that. Once the newborn insert comes out they aren't as warm, but you really do need to pay attention to how they feel as you pull them out. Last thing...my baby was 4wks early and weighed 5lb2oz when she came home and she fit perfect inside and was comfortable. It waas easy to place her in and she looked safe. No extra padding required. Just the insert it comes with

I love this travel system! After doing a lot of research and playing with all of the travel systems in the store we decided to buy this system and 8 months later could not be happier.

We did not find out the gender of our baby ahead of time so we wanted to get a pattern that was gender neutral. We love the miro pattern, and we live in Hawkeye country, so we get lots of complements on the colors!

The car seat is very easy to install. We bought extra bases for Dad and Grandma's cars for convenience because we ride in them very frequently and it just makes moving from one car to the next so slick. Installation was easy in each car.

The car seat is a little on the heavy side, but that's part of what makes it so safe. You want your baby in something sturdy in case you're ever involved in a crash. I never really carry the car seat very far, usually just to and from the car, then I usually put it into the stroller or a shopping cart. The car seat snaps into the stroller just like it does in the base. In a shopping cart I would put the car seat in/on the bottom basket, never on the top part where bigger kids sit. When my daughter was younger it was so nice to be able to move her to and from the car while she was asleep, not having to unbuckle her to carry her inside, naptime continues! Now at 8 months, my daughter is starting to prefer to sit in just the stroller without the car seat so she can look around better, and now that she weighs more I am starting to leave the car seat in the car more often.

The car seat fits nicely in restaurant's car seat slings and most restaurant booths. I also like how the bottom of the car seat is rounded so it can be rocked like a rocking chair while sitting on the ground.

The fabric cleans up very nicely with a damp cloth, or if needed tossed in the wash. My daughter had a massive diaper blow out when she was just a month or so old. Poop had gotten all over the car seat, even seepi

We had a chicco system with my first son and I loved it.. So we bought this one and it is absolutly amazing. Yes, it will fit in a shopping cart if tilt th right way.. But, u dont buy it for that purpose you buy for how safe the seat is.. The car seat is perfect and comfy for my newborn!! I love the stroller so easy to push and get around!! I absolutel love this travel system, I can close it and oepen it without breaking a sweat and i love how safe the car seat is, also about the person that complained about not being able to put it on the shopping cart, that's actually a good thing. Putting the carseat on top of the shopping cart makes it top heavy and I've actually seen a cart flip over and the car seat gone flying because it made it top heavy, so to me they're actually doing us a favor by not making it possible to put on a shopping cart, and I'm sure they thought about that fact too. Overall absolutely perfect!

I have a son who has loved this seat. It's super easy to click in and out of the seat. The 30lbs is great but my son is 6 months old and tall and heavy he's already 17 lbs so didn't do us alot of good as ours was already uncomfy by that time. But that isn't a general rule, I just have a tall kid. lol

It was nice to be able to move him in and out.

Super easy to adjust.

Only other concern is in stores like walgreens or dollar tree with thin buggies don't expect to sit it in the back -it's to wide, and likewise in the sitting it in the front which I never found a store where it could be sat in the front.

Over all great though, just a few snags, I loved it

I was very disappointed... the car seat does not fit in the front part of a grocery cart. If I had know what I know now, I would have never bought this item. It is not safe and is very had to deal with.... the best thing I can say is bring someone with you to the store and have them push your stroller... while you push the grocery cart!

I just received our travel system and I already love it!! I normally can't put these things together but I did it with a breeze!! Directions were easy to read and understand. This stroller is everything I wanted. I am 5'10 and hated being hunched over with our first son. I promised myself I would find a stroller made for taller people this time around. Smooth ride and great turning radius. Just a heads up..... the only problem (if even that) is that while the seat is reclined all the way it is impossible to put the baby bag in the underneath basket. I did find a baby bag with stroller clips so problem solved. I can't wait to start using this in 6 weeks!!!!!

We just received this yesterday as a gift for our baby due in March. The system is everything Chicco says it will be and more! I love the pattern. We are not finding out what gender the baby is and it is neutral without being BORING!! The functionality is great, so easy my hubby can use it! :)
If you have the funds available, I highly recommend it! We have two older children and this is, by far, the nicest equipment any of them has had!

I LOVE this travel system. After much research I decided on this system because my son can stay in it until he's 30 lbs (other systems only go to 22 lbs), and because of the ease of use. You can truly fold out the stroller with one hand, and the 1 button release for the carseat is awesome too. I love the smooth ride (for my son), range of motion, and system is easily steered with one hand. The stroller isnt too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car, and I also get compliments on the pattern everywhere I go. My only complaint is the basket underneath the system. It sits close to the bottom of the stroller, so its difficult to get packages under there. Other than that this is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone.
