Chicco
Chicco is another well-recognized and well-trusted brand when it comes to baby products, and there is little wonder why. Chicco, after all, is the largest baby company in Europe and has been around for more than fifty years, through which it has released various baby products that have all proven to be of excellent quality and completely safe for baby. The reason for this may be Chicco's own Happiness Laboratory, where researchers and scientists work together to understand babies and find ways to meet their needs and desires. We offer a wide range of Chicco products for your consideration. We have Chicco baby gear which are known for their reliability, including strollers, car seats and high chairs, and we also have Chicco toys for newborns, infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers including the award-winning ones such as the Goodnight Stars, Teddy Count-With-Me and Talking Mechanic.

High Chairs and Boosters

When your baby starts to feed on solids, it will be time for him to join you at the table for meals, so you'll need to buy him a high chair or a booster seat. High chairs provide your child with his very own chair where he can eat comfortably, with most being adjustable so he can be at the same height as the table, while booster seats are designed to be placed on dining chairs so your child can reach the table. Boosters are portable, as well, and can be brought to the restaurant so you won't have to borrow a high chair. We offer a wide selection of high chairs and boosters for your child's use. Our high chairs are all sturdily built so they won't easily topple and have spacious trays so your baby won't make much of a mess on the dining room floor while our boosters come with or without backrests and can be strapped securely onto chairs while also strapping your child in.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I love the versatility of this high chair. Adjusting the height is very convenient, we have it high when we feed our daughter at the table but a little lower when we have it out on the deck and are feeding her at the patio table. I also Love the material of the seat cushion because it is easy to wipe down. The extra cover things for the tray are nice but we rarely use them. They are a little long for the dishwasher, unless I put them in diagonally. Also, the recline option is great because our daughter is learning how to us the sippy and having it slightly reclined (still sitting up) makes it a little easier for her. Also the wheels make it very easy to move around. I used a friend's highchair, and the front wheels on hers where in a set position and it was very hard to move around unless you were only going froward or back...super annoying. The only CON I have is that there are several little crevasses and areas that make it hard to clean as you baby gets older and starts feeding themselves.

We received this at our baby shower for our son. We love the chair. It folds flat for easy storage, it is easy to adjust the height of the seat as well as recline the seat back. We'd definitely buy this one again!

This highchair is great! Easy to clean, easy to take apart to clean as well. Perfect for an infant on up to a toddler. Folds up nice and doesn't take up space. Great it is on wheels. Very Comfy for the baby to sit in. Was extremely pleased with purchase.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Feeding Tray is a NIGHTMARE. The entire system is EXTREMELY hard to clean!!! The seat is too reclined and the seat harness never adjusts properly. I just traded mine in because food got caught under the seat. When I tried to clean it with a cloth and little water, it soured. Now it reeks and neither my son nor I can stand the smell!!!!!!! I gave up and washed and dried it on cool and it smelled okay. After ONE day the odor returned.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Just wanted to agree with all the other criticisms I've read. This is our first baby and of all the products/ equipment we use, this high chair has been my least favorite and produced the most headaches. Impossible to thoroughly clean, extremely difficult tray (and too big), and the seat doesn't sit up straight enough. Even in the most upright position, my baby is still too reclined back to get close to the tray.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
We love this highchair!!! its so easy to use, clean, change for different stages and store. We have used other highchairs of other family members and everytime i use someone elses it makes me like this highchair even more. the tray slides on and off easily, no clicking it down. we used this with our first son till he was 2, our second son is just starting the feeding stage, so we are starting over again and still love it

too many crevices!!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
This high chair is horrible!! There are way too many crevices on this chair. The food gets stuck in every little crack and I spend way too many times hours cleaning this thing!! My twins are just graduating to table food and the food that gets squished is just too overwhelming. The tray cover that comes with the product sits in the closet, one more item that needs to be cleaned!

In addition, it is a CONSTANT fight with the every baby that has sat in the chair to slide the tray on. Their little feet push against the tray and the game is on.

Do NOT waste your money or time on this high chair!

On the big side, but serves its purpose.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I've got mixed reviews for you on this product. While I love that it's so easy to clean, has the 2 tray covers that can be put in the dishwasher, has wheels and strap covers, this product is also pretty big. When being used, it's base is wide enough to get in the way for medium or small spaces. Even when folded, its not nearly as slim as it appears in the above picture... In fact, I think the only way to get it that slim is if you remove the seat. Overall, it's a good high chair and easy to maintain, but I might look a little harder next time around for something that doesn't take up as much room as this one does.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Do not buy this high chair or any of the chicco ones. I say this in all honesty and will add that I generally love Chicco products...but they need to do some serious remodeling on their high chair concept. They look great and the idea of them folding for put away is great (though a bit unrealistic), plus the base is massive when open. I never had any trouble with the tray at all (like others mentioned) and the cushioning was definitely comfortable, but the amount of crevices on the tray and chair are ridiculous. Clearly they did not test this high chair by using a real baby...or they would have seen that food gets caked everywhere in all tight places. I literally have to spray hose the tray in the sink after each meal and use the tip of a sharp knife to clean out the crevices. And I want to add that I am not OCD about cleaning, but when it comes to my baby...I don't want little bits of food growing bacteria between meals...and then making him sit in it. It is awful. After several months of use, I have finally purchased the Svan High Chair. What ever high chair you choose...do not pick this one. You will be spending precious time scrubbing when you could be cuddling with your child or taking a few minutes for yourself...and if you are like me...you will sadly spend way more, by upgrading to a better high chair.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I like that the chair adjusts to so many heights..I can feed DS from the couch or raise it to feed him from the table. Even so, I wouldn't buy this chair again. The tray is a real pain to attach. If the bolts aren't perfectly aligned (which is not easy and happens for about a split second which isn't too generous when you have a squirming child in the seat)the tray will not budge. You have to push the button to disengage the bolts, while pushing the tray in...it won't budge so you have to wiggle it while pushing it and if/when you finally hit the "sweet spot" and the tray moves...VROOOM! Right into your kiddo. You have to be very very careful. I've read other posts from people having the same problem so I know it's not just a random problem I'm having. I can't believe they wouldn't have discovered (and fixed) this in testing.

My husband and I (and Grandma's, Grandpa's and other relatives) love this high chair. It is very easy to clean even in the seams after each use (meals, snacks and messy craft time)easy to collapse and take with to family get togethers and it works very well with ity bity kids as well as giant kids. The tray is so nice and big that it is also used alot for coloring, playdough, painting and anything else that is mesy. The only real down side was that our kitchen is not very open. It would be better for a more open spacious kitchen.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
It is like the designers tried to make as many places as possible for babies/toddler to get food in this highchair. I have twins, and spend probably 45 minutes a day cleaning these highchairs. I mean, the thin little groove that goes around the entire tray??? I need to take a sharp knife or my nail - gross - to get in there. Whenever I think I am done I take another look and THERE IS ANOTHER CREVICE WHERE FOOD GOT TO. There is no possible way that whoever designed this highchair has ever had a child who ate a meal in a highchair. Other than this major flaw, I haven't had any issues, but I want my 45 minutes back each day. Or my money so that I can buy new highchairs.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Hard to clean, the buckle and strap is hard to wipe down. You have to basically take the chair apart to clean it properly. The buckle has already broke so we had to order another and the padded straps on the top have holes which are sharp. I would not give this chair to my worst enemy. The wheels on the bottom RUINED our hardwoods so now they are covered with tennis balls. If we did not pay an arm and a leg for this chair, it would have already met its demise.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
First child, first high chair, first time my Clorox Wipes do not do the job. Frustrating clean-up procedure, outweighs the positives, which are: that it folds, has a tray holder behind and great seat reclining positions. Actually called the company b/c I couldn't believe they didn't make this to be able to throw into the washing machine. Love all other Chicco products, extremely disappointed on how dirty it always appears.

I really like this high chair. I have used it for two of my kids and will continue to use it for the third when he arrives. My number one priority is safety and I feel comfortable making dinner while my little one is secured in this chair. I would definitely recommend it. I just purchased a second one for Grandma's house. The seat recline is a plus!!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
It makes me laugh to read some of these reviews below. This whole chair is made of plastic and vinyl, basically, so I'm sort of confused as to how it's "so difficult" to clean. I've had this chair for over 2 years now and it's basically a part of our kitchen furniture. All it takes is a good clorox wipe cleaning once a day and a recommended full take apart and hose down once a month! It folds up and fits anywhere. It's trays are super easily cleaned. It also has a tray storage holder. The ONLY reason why these people have trouble with the buckles is because if you don't clean them, they stick. Common sense. I've seen some pretty disgusting high chairs from house to house and this one is very clean, easy to use and super portable. We chucked it in our trunk and brought it over to our in-law's once when we hadn't yet purchased the Fisher Price portable tray/seat. Chicco makes awesome quality products and they are ALWAYS willing to work with you if you have troubles. We have 2 of their strollers, one of their car seats and 2 car seat bases. I'm very happy with Chicco!!!!

I wanted this high chair because it matched all the other baby stuff I picked out. I put it together in 5 minutes. My daughter is 10 months and started feeding herself with a spoon, which is a messy process. The high chair is easy to clean. I wouldn't change anything about this high chair and would recommend it to a friend.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I had this highchair with my first and it was as many people said- impossible to clean. Food would find it's way into every crevice of the seat cushion, and underneath the cushion as well- it became so unsanitary and disgusting. Way too much maintenance when you are feeding a messy baby/toddler several times a day. As well the chair takes up a lot of space- even though it can be folded and put away, I never did. We finally got rid of it.

If there are any pros, it is stable and safe for your child. As well, the tray is large and I liked the detachable clear tray that fits on top of the tray- that was easy for cleaning.

Hoping to get the easiest seat possible this time around with my second daughter- something just to wipe down and more of a space-saver.

Impossible to clean!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
We loved the design of this high chair when we registered for it, but since we've been actively using it (our daughter is 15 months old now), we can't wait to get rid of it. It is impossible to clean/keep clean! The straps are oddly configured and have never provided a comfortable fit for our baby. . . they also have a ton of little crevices where food gets stuck. We had to permanently remove the foot rest because crumbs constantly collect on it, but the only way to clean the foot rest is to take it off the chair, at which point all of the crumbs spill on the floor. Food & crumbs get stuck under the seat padding, and in the many crevices on the armrests and in the tray. We spend about 15 minutes cleaning the chair after each time it's used, plus regularly dismantling the tray to clean it out completely. Way too high maintenance! We will definitely replace this high chair before we have a second child!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Let me start off by saying that I like how adjustable all the aspects of the chair are.

That's the only thing good about it. It takes up the whole dining room! We can't move around it. Also, it's very hard to clean. Also, it's hard to unbuckle. I wish I had a smaller chair that could just wipe clean.

We love this chair. We have a different collor but I think it's dosen't matter. My son is almost one year old and we using the chair from the begining of the solid feeding thanks for the 3 position recliner seat. Now he started finger foods and feeding himself it's even better because I just have to wipe down the mess and it's ready for the next meal.

Awful highchair
1 stars
04/22/2010 by Pregnant mom, Haverhill,MA

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
This highchair is simply awful. The belt buckle is nearly impossible to clean and gets stuck easily. I thought that the vinyl would be easier to clean than cloth but I was so wrong. Food gets stuck down in the creases of the seat and is difficult to get out. My mother in law has a cloth-seat highchair and all she has to do is toss it in the washer when it gets dirty. Also, the footrest traps food and you can't get it out without removing the footrest. Unfortunately, this spills the food onto the floor. Seriously annoying! The worst part of it is that after about 1 year of use, the vinyl seat started cracking around the edges so I can't even use it for my new baby. I am going to have to buy a new high chair. The advantage to it is supposed to be that it folds up tightly, but once it is folded it is not that sturdy. I seldom even bothered to fold it because it was so wobbly that I was constantly worried that my son or my cats would knock it over (which they did several times). It was easier just to walk around it than to fold it up between meals and stress out about it anyway. Please do not get this highchair. It is NOT good.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I was fine with the high chair up to the point that it is now broken. For the past month the latch that keeps the seat upright would give way and my son would by laying back in the middle of the meal (not safe) and this morning it went out entirely and no longer works at all. It has only been used for 1 year and we haven't been hard on it! seems a little cheap to break this soon. I'll be looking for one that is easier to clean and more durable.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
My son can't be the only one whose peed or vomitted in the highchair. The padding is only "spot cleaning" which is ridiculous. Can never get it really clean once an accident happens--even if you soak in soapy water and hope for the best. Would not recommend this chair unless they change the padding so it can be thrown in washing machine.

Too hard to clean

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
This high chair looks really great, but is so hard to clean, it's a pain. I read a review that said one user had to use a toothpick to clean the chair! I thought it can't be that bad. Well, now that my little one can feed himself (13 months), it is that bad. It takes a good 15-20 minutes to really clean. There is a line aroung the tray that food gets into, the sides of the chair have an opening big enough for food to slide into, but too small to easily clean, and there is a flap under the seat that food can and does fall into. Avoid this high chair!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Nothing positive at all I can add about this chair. It's very bulky. The worst thing is a sliding tray which is very difficult to slide. Then if you want to sit your child it's not easy at all to put the kid inside because of the problem with tray. So you end up with a crying baby, bad back pain while trying to put baby into the chair and huge disappointment about this chair

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
This highchair has been great for our baby as she is very petite. It offers her cushy support and even reclined when she was too small for solids. The cons are that it takes up a lot of space and it is very difficult to keep clean- there are a thousand little crevices and seams where food sticks. You need a pin to get out the grime! Also the tray does not slide in and out very easily.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I absolutely love this high chair! The colors are neutral so it is suitable for both boys and girls. It is very, very easy to assemble! The best of all, it is easy to clean. There is no fabric on the seat so there is no need to put any pieces in the washer. Clorox wipes work great to clean the entire chair. Plus. the trays are removable, and are dishwasher safe. I would definitely recommend this chair to any parent trying to invest in a quality, durable, and convenient high chair!

Great product! 3 kids in 4 years!
5 stars
03/25/2010 by Mom 2-3, Guelph,ON

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
This highchair has gone through multiple trips and vacations and a move - not to mention every-day use by 3 kids over the course of four years and it looks the same today as the day we bought it other than the plastic where it folds being slightly discolored on one side from when it sat in the sun. Once our kids were no longer in need of the tray, we just pulled them up to our bar-height table and it was the perfect height. It is durable, easy to clean and overall a wonderful product. An added plus would be that the Sahara color goes great in our neutral-toned home. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! The only thing Chicco could improve on is the size of the tray inserts didn't fit in my dishwasher in both homes that we owned since using this product.

DO NOT BUY

03/24/2010 by annoyed mom, Chicago,

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I absolutely despise this product. I have used it for 2.5 years now, but should have saved myself a million headaches and replaced it much sooner. There are at least 50 holes and crevices that capture all your little ones food. I am constantly scrubbing this thing with a toothbrush. The tray itself is molded in 2 pieces and I have to take a sharp knife in order to clean the seam. There are 2 large holes on the tray (used to hang it on the highchair for storage) which capture water when your cleaning. Its very difficult to thoroughly drain and I worry about mold growing. The seat cushions are vinyl on the front but a porous cloth on the back that can not be cleaned and easily mold/mildews. The tray is too large to fit in even my extra large dishwasher so plan to handwash the trays at least twice daily. I could go on and on. This is an item that was OBVIOUSLY not designed by a mom! I would not recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I both despise this high chair. Our 18 month-old daughter cannot sit up straight, so she always spills food down the front of her. (Look at the pictures to see the gap between the tray and the baby). It's way too difficult to clean. And it's huge! I love the colors and the wipeable material. It's simply too expensive for what you get. I love the Fisher Price Healthy Care Deluxe booster seat.

Many flaws

01/18/2010 by Working mom of 1 with 2 more o, Chicago,IL

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
Initially, we liked the high chair and had minimal complaints about cleaning although the tray would never fit in any standard dishwasher and the seams and plastic pieces made it difficult to keep clean. The tray table is somewhat difficult to slide on/off and impossible for grandparents to figure out. The biggest drawback is the extreme difficulty in adjusting the strap lengths and most recently both plastic latches on the shoulder straps snapped. We now have an extreme safety issue as our 2 year old can climb out of the high chair on her own and no one makes replacement straps.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
My friend and I both have this high chair and it's become a joke how much we both get frustrated trying to clean it! I just took the whole thing apart and took it into the shower with me, that was the only way to clean out all the nooks and crannies. You will NOT have time to do this on a regular basis, believe me.

Also the tray is hard to slide on and off, and still leaves a gap between the tray and his body, creating a perfect place for more food to fall.

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
I registered for this particular model because of the look. It did scream "baby seat" and I figured it would "fit in" in our kitchen. Now that my daughter is big enough to use the highchair, I realize there are several things that could have been done better. The tray is extremely difficult to get on and off. Most highchairs I've seen have the latches on the side so you can hold the tray with 2 hands while putting it on, but this one has the latch in the front which makes it difficult to line the tray up with the arms. Also, I dont like the post that is attached to the tray to seperated my daughters legs. She keeps moving them and I keep having to seperate them just to get the tray on. I don't even use the tray anymore! I'm very dissappointed and am now looking for a new highchair that is easier to use.

This highchair is the best highchair ever, it works so well and folds up so small. I have used a bunch of highchairs and wouldn't trade it for any other, i highly recommend it to anyone who likes a product that works!!!

When I found this at a yard sale for [$], I couldn't believe my luck! I knew the actual price of this in stores, plus had read such great reviews, so I bought it. And I've been thrilled with it! Sturdy, easy to clean, very attractive. And I love the reclining feature. I know some reviewers think it's a stupid feature, but it's not used for feeding. You put your infant in the reclining seat while you're eating, so your wee babe can hang out at your level. Then when the kid gets older, you use the high chair for feeding.I also love that it folds up for easy storage, and has wheels. It's such a great high chair! I don't know why others have given it such a low rating.

The cheaper Graco is much better!!

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
When we became pregnant with #3 we decided it was time to retire our Graco highchair we had with the first two. We decided to go with something a little more stream line and the color of this chair didn't scream "baby gear" in our dining area. I really do like the color and look of this chair. Unfortunately, the fundamental uses leave A LOT to be desired. The tray has a much rougher slide than our old chair and whoever's idea it was to put a GROOVE in a baby's tray was not all together genius. It is absolutely impossible to feel that this chair is totally clean unless you are a person that feeds your child every single meal. Another thing that I really dislike is the fact that if you submerge this tray in water, it takes it in like it was the Titanic. So, if you're a person like me, who likes to really CLEAN things well and you would like to do more than just wipe the tray off, this is not the chair for you!

Great chair! No complaints here!

My husband and I loved this chair! We received it as a gift and have enjoyed using it for our first daughter and now our second! It is easy to adjust the height of the chair, the tray comes off and on easily (I am not sure why some had problems with it) and cleanup is what you would expect after a baby/toddler is done eating. You can even lower the height of the chair and take off the tray and pull it up to your table, which is what we did when our oldest was eating mostly table food. I have already recommended it to several friends.

Tray is hard to get on and off

Comments about Chicco Polly High Chair Sahara:
The tray always sticks and it is hard to slide on and off. I wish I would have spent more money on a Tripp-Trapp or a high chair that scoots under the table. It would be nice to have our son feel like he is a part of the family table instead of being separated by a big bulky tray. We have to cajole and mentally prepare him for mealtime because he doesn't like his constrictive high chair.

Not the best, not the worst

Overall not a bad high chair-very sturdy, nice looking-however there are some features that would make me not buy or recommend this again. We also have the Fisher Price Rainforest high chair at Grandma's, which when you compare the two really makes the chicco's flaws stand out more. I'd recommend the Fisher Price over the Chicco high chair.

The features I don't like of the Chicco: Underneath the tray is a piece of plastic that juts out that is meant to go between the child's legs - it's fine when the baby's in the chair, but when it's time to take the tray off, the tray doesn't lay flat on the table which is kind of annoying. Sometimes it's hard to slide tray on (especially as compared to Fisher price where you just snap the tray into place - no sliding). Clean up is very difficult - food gets trapped in the grooves of the tray, in the buckles, in the seat itself, in all the grooves of the armrests. a real thorough cleaning (taking all the buckles out, washing behind the seat cushion, etc.) took me like an hour - i was amazed at all the little nooks and crannies the food got trapped in.

I think if you have an easy-to-feed, neat eater, the cleaning aspect of this high chair may not be a big deal because it does wipe easily. If you have a messy eater that rubs, drops, spits out, and plays with his/her food then this is not the chair for you. We recently switched to the fisher price booster chair and it's a world of difference.

I loved this high chair! Easy clean up, easy to open and close with one hand – 5 point harness. This high chair was awesome. I do not really understand why others had an issue with putting on & removing the tray - it was quite easy. Yes it is a bit pricey, but the two removable tray covers were so very helpful, and the seat cover that can be removed and you still have a cover underneath - major +. Looking at the other choices in high chairs - they don't get much better than this one. So, you get some food stuck in the small seam around the tray… Spray some disinfected spray one it and take a tooth brush and clean it. PLEASE!

I'm surprised to read the negative comments about this high chair. My husband and I have no complaints--it is easy to fold/unfold, attach & clean the tray, adjust for height, etc. Plus, it is a cool and modern design that blends nicely with the rest of our home decor. No hesitation recommending this chair.

While I liked the different positions and heights I could adjust the seat at, it was very big with a REALLY WIDE base (even though, yes, it does fold up fairly compactly and easily- who wants to actually do that after and between every meal?).
But the worst part of it was how dirty it got and how difficult it was to clean the little cracks and crevices that are everywhere (in the tray, seat, buckles- everywhere). Next time I want a high chair with much simpler lines. I will say my daughter always seemed comfortable- although what else would she have to compare it with?
We had two of these (bought them on friend's recommendation before i tried them out for myself- one at my house and one at my parents) and one of them, the buckle got completely jammed and was impossible to unjam (so a relatively new, gently-used much high chair was pretty unusable and got thrown out).
