GREAT highchair

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
I got this highchair when my daughter was 6 months old and we've had it for 8 months now and I still love it as much as I did when we first bought it! The print was what drew me to the chair initially but it has many great options. One of my favorites is the ability to recline the seat back. I also love that the padded seat seemed very comfortable for my baby. Now that my daughter is over a year old she is still comfortable in this seat and it's great that you can change the heights and still recline the seat if she finishes her food before the rest of the family is done eating. I can recline her slightly so she doesn't have to sit completely upright while we finish our food. The only problem with the seat is that food gets stuck crevice of the main tray but is easily cleaned out with a toothpick occasionally. All in all I would recommend this seat to any parent who is looking for a comfortable, safe and cute highchair for their child!!

Exceeded expectations!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
I will preface by saying my pattern is slightly different than this one. It is very close, and the pros of this chair far outweigh the pattern on the seat!

I love the way the tray goes on with one hand. You have no idea how handy that is until you try to use one that does not! I also love that the seat can recline with one hand, and it does come in handy! It folds very slim, although we do not fold it much. I like the adjustable height, we can use it at the table or by itself, and there are plenty of height options. The seat pads wipe clean easily and it is easy to disassemble and reassemble.

There are a few minor details. The biggest con I can find is the tray does not fit into the dishwasher. We are normally fine with that, but it would be nice to be able to put it in there. Also, if your child eats like a tazmanian devil like mine does, be prepared to wipe a lot of surfaces. The food manages to get from the top seat pad to the bottom seat pad, plus all over the big round "hinge" pieces where the legs meet. I think this is probably a problem with any chair though...

Great Highchair - we love it!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
This is a really well made, well designed highchair. My son sits comfortably in it - and for much longer than I ever expected! I have had no problem adjusting the seat or the straps. Despite what others say I find it really simple to clean the seat with a sponge and sometimes a quick swipe in the crevices with a dish brush. The tray is easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher.
We love the colors on the cushion - they are bright and cheerful without being too babyish. A welcome addition to our dining room.
It's easy to fold and is often stored in the coat closet.

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
i chose this chair b/c i loved the pattern and it matched my kitchen. i curse it every time i use it though with so many things that are a pain:
1. even the most upright position is too reclined for my 10 month old and the tray comes up way too high.
2. the harness is too loose (not to mention it gets dirty and is difficult to clean the food off).
3. it's almost impossible to get the tray on! there's a large bar in the middle that goes btwn the baby's legs, and my son kicks at it, blocking it from sliding on. in the meantime, while trying to keep his legs apart and his hands above the tray, you have to line up the sides of the tray in grooves in order to slide it on, which is near impossible. even when lined up it's difficult to slide the tray into position.
4. food gets stuck in the groves on the main tray and you have to use a toothpick to get it out.
5. if you get water in the main tray while washing, it gets stuck inside with no way of getting it out.

i would never buy this chair again. it's too bulky and expensive to be such a pain in the you know what.

We LOVE it!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
Our grandparents bought this for our daughter and we absolutely love it! So easy to put together, easy to clean---great that it comes with two trays so you don't have to keep washing and washing. The vinyl cover wipes clean in a snap. The leg rest is adjustable so it grows with your child. We started using it at 5 months and our daughter is now 14 months and still fits comfortably. The only cons I can really point out is that the leg strap gets dirty very easily and is not easy to clean. Other than that we love it and highly recommend it! :)

This product was well worth it!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
This highchair is the cutest one I found, hands down. I love the height varieties: I can stand and feed my daughter, or lower the chair and sit down and feed her. I couldn't have picked a better highchair except there is a little crease that lines the tray and food gets stuck in it. The only way I can find to clean it and get the food out is to use a safety pin and dig it out. Other than that, I absolutely love it!

can't love it enough!!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
I have been using this for 6 months now, and I have absolutely no complaints!! super easy to clean, the adjustabel recline is a bliss when my baby needs to drink her milk on her own, the tray is dish washer safe, the different hights are a plus too. you know when you buy things with too many features that you end up not using, not in this case, I use every single option available in this, a life saver

Hard to clean, doesn't sit upright.

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
I liked the chairs until our babies started feeding themselves... I can never get the tray close enough to them, can never get the back upright enough to have them sit up without slouching. Food always goes into the chair portion and gets stuck in the vinyl chair cover... then rots and stinks. Other chairs seem to allow babies to sit up straight and the tray fit close so food doesn't get stuck. I wish I could sell and get something else.

love it but it RUSTS!

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
okay so i got this highchair about 5 months ago and we LOVE it!! you do have to clean a part of the tray with a toothpick, but not a big deal. anyway EVERYWHERE it says that it is rust proof...dont be fooled. i took it out back and really cleaned it and then rinsed it off. thinking it was dry i brought it back in the house put it up to the table and put the cushions back on. woke up the next morning and there is huge puddles of rust EVERYWHERE on the floor!!! totally bogus! calling chicco today to see what they have to say about that.

i love this highchair

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
i received this highchair a few days ago. i love it its a great pattern and i love the recline feature.

after i feed my 7 month old lunch i recline it just a little bit and give her a sippy cup with juice while i clean the kitchen. she is new to the sippy cup so she likes to throw her head back when she drinks.

since its out of stock i purchsed it on another site.

im a little upset though beacuse my daughter has the graco cherry blossom collection and when i went to purchase the highchair they had taken it out of the market. i could not find it anywhere. so i found this one and settled. well the day i recieved this highchair the cherry blossom collection came back.

but overall its a great highchair and i havent had any problems with it yet.

Great Looking, only one glitch.

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
We had the Peg Perego highchair the first time around and hated it. Decided on the Chicco Polly this time because of the pattern and foldability. Great design, style, and functionality. The only caveat I have is that it's a little difficult to get the tray to slide back on- it has to line up properly on both sides, but the release handle is in the middle which makes it tricky. It might just take some practice....Other than that, I love it! Great product and well worth the reasonable price.

Comments about Chicco Polly Highchair Seventies:
I love that it has reclining feature, and the multiple height positions. I love the color of the chair too and its easy to clean and the trays (2) are removable. Its easily folded for storage after figuring out which button or lever to push, and overall light weight. It feels light and flimsy, but has perfomed great... (I am used to the clunky heavy highchairs from the 90's when my little sister was born). I put that it was light weight as a negative, but the chair has performed well... and for most thats not a negative and it really isnt for me either, just hope it doesnt mean that its flimsy. Love the chair so far!!!
