Experience Parent Doesn't Recommend

This stroller is for our fourth child. We've owned many strollers, and would not recommend this one. After just a few months, it doesn't turn properly, sunshade continues to fall off, and it is bulky. We converted to the Maclaren Twin and the Maclaren Quest. I love those!!!
Horrible!

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
This stroller is light weight and folds small for transport. Those are the only good things about it! There are 2 bolts under a thin layer of fabric right were my sons temples are! He has had multiple bumps or welts from bumping his head om them. If the stroller is reclined you can't access the basket or any of it's contents. After one year of use the foam on the handles is wearing out and the back wheels are becoming increasingly less straight, making it hard to steer or back up. I will be purchasing a new one asap.
Probably wouldn't buy again

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I bought this product because I did not want the bulk of a travel system. The good thing about this stroller is that you can create a travel system of it because your carseat snaps in. This feature, however, causes problem once your child is out of the carseat. My son's arms are constantly getting stuck and scraped under the mechanism where the carseat attaches. The canopy, as with most Chicco products, is laughable at best. One of my front wheels are off balance, and we've made sure they were installed on correctly. This wheel is constantly causing me to have steering problems and poor control because it does not hit the ground with the rest of the wheels. As a result, I look intoxicated trying to push my child in the stores because I'm constanly running into things. I hate that you can not steer this stroller with one hand. I do like the strollers double handles, but you do lose the parent tray feature because of this. Another con is the basket. You can not access it if the seat is reclining. Even when it is not reclining, don't expect to fit more than a very small diaper bag or purse in it. The cupholder snaps on, but it does not stay on when you fold the stoller. Sometimes the canopy also comes unsnapped-to me just a sign of a cheap design. It is a very attractive stroller, great harness adjustibility, and seems pretty comfy aside from what I mentioned in the beginning of my review, but I would probably not purchase again for the reasons I mentioned.
So happy

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a smaller stroller, especially with the questionable reviews, but I wanted something smaller thn my jogging stroller that would fit the chicco keyfit car seat and continue to be useful as my little one gets older.
This is the perfect middle ground between a full size stroller and an umbrella stroller. Keeping that in mind, your expectations should fall in the middle.
Compared to an umbrella stroller, the trevi folds down larger, is heavier, and has more storage space, including a cup holder and a tray for the baby. However, compared to a full size stroller, the trevi folds down smaller, is lighter, doesn't have as much storage space or a tray for the parent.
To speak to some of the critical reviews:
-the front wheels have a locking mechanism for when you are going over rocky/uneven ground to keep the wheels from turning sideways. If you keep them locked, it will be hard to turn!
-the cup holder and shade have to be snapped onto particular places where they stay on best. I keep the stroller in the back of my car and use it (fold and unfold) almost every day, I've only had trouble with these coming undone once ( I didn't have them attached correctly.
One other thing I love about this stroller is that I can put my average-sized 4 month old in it without using his carseat! The straps are VERY adjustable!
Waste of money!

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
The sunshade on this stroller is worthless. As another comment said it always slides off and I have to readjust it. But even worse it doesn't block any sun from the child. The clasp used to keep the stroller folded is cheap and flimsy. It does not steer well. I was all around disappointed. The reason I even gave it 2 stars was the fact that it is easy to open and close and light enough that I can lift it into the car all with one arm.
Junk!

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I switched to this stroller because it was lighter and smaller than the Chicco travel system stroller that came with the carseat. I reget the switch! Wheels do not turn properly, sun shade is ripping apart, the basket is impossible to get to if the back of the stroller is not all the way up. The stroller is a piece of junk and I'm embarrassed when I use it in the mall and run into racks, walls, and people!!!
Don't expect too much

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I have been using it as a carrier for the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat. It works fine for that. It folds and unfolds easily. I also like how it folds nicely into my car's little trunk. I expect to use it more like an umbrella stroller like in the mall or quick shopping runs. I don't like how the canopy keeps dropping off when I fold and unfold the stroller. I also do not like the fact that the seat must not be reclined in order to get to the little basket. I was only able to figure that out after reading comments here. I was no longer disappointed once I lowered my expectations on how I plan to use this (I plan to get a sporty stroller as a fullsize one)
Very Disapointed!!!!!

We bought this stroller right before we had our third baby. We got it because it looked nice and it wasn't to pricey because we baby wear we didn't want to spend to much on a new stroller. I wished I would have... This has got to be one of the worst strollers I have ever had. The string sucks. One of the foams ripped off the handle. the Locking clip broke off. the other foam on the handle is coming off. The leg exstention on one side broke. and the cup holder sucked and kept falling off!!! I would not buy this stroller ever again.

I got this stroller to use with my keyfit 30 carseat which I love. After about the third time I used the stroller the front wheels started to stick. It makes it really hard to turn the stroller.

We found a great deal on the trevi and I liked the fact that it folded pretty compact but yet still fit an infant carrier. 12 months later I can't wait to get rid of it. The steering is horrible. I run in to walls and am constantly fighting to get it to turn where I want to turn or go straight etc. We have a jetta sportwagon and this stroller is still too long to fit unless diagonal and then we lose our storage space. The canopy was incredibly short and useless so we bought another product to extend and cover our child. I am expecting again and thankful for the excuse now to upgrade to a double stroller. Now I know from experience what NOT to look for.If I found it again for $80 I may recommend as a backup but definitely not for everyday use.

I have two of these, they both suck.., My childs arm gets caught in the sides where the car seat attaches. The canopy is a joke, no shade at all. wheels are off balance.. chicco has replaced it , but with a cortina FULL SIZE stroller , and I already had that.. I wanted a umbrella style, not a big one again.. really not worth the money. but a super nice looking stroller.
Buy Cortina instead - for 3 months+

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I drive a very small car - a compact Scion, and was in search of a nice stroller which worked as a travel system with car seat, and was fairly compact when folded. Everything I read suggested that the Trevi was compact. It does fit in my Scion's hatchback... but it's NOT COMPACT. I wish I had done more research and gone with the Cortina. I loved the Keyfit 30 carseat, and the ease of snapping it into the stroller. It worked great while my daughter was in the carseat, for the first 3 months or so.
Using the stroller solo, it has become very frustrating. We've owned this stroller for 15 months, and granted, have put on a LOT of miles. The stroller has literally fallen apart. The wheels no longer want to turn, it squeaks and croaks, the front band cracked and broke and it looks pretty junky. The storage is not practical, as it's small, and you have to put the seat in it's upright-most position to even access the storage basket underneath.
The way this folds up makes it long and narrow, but there's no way to lock it together, so it's actually extremely bulky, and I have to slam the hatchback, to get this to fit in the car. My friend got a Cortina after having her baby, months after we had our Trevi, and it was much better quality! To my surprise, it folded up so much easier and stayed put, and FIT in my car's hatchback SO MUCH better. The Cortina is much more compact and stores easier than the Trevi, when folded up!!
If we have a second kiddo, I'll definitely use a different stroller to go with the keyfit 30 carseat - either a universal stroller, the Cortina, or a jog-version.
Now I'm in search of a high quality stroller that is made for mileage, for my 15 mo. old, and disappointed that we have to start over with buying one.
If you're an expecting mommy, I suggest making your stroller your "splurge" purchase - get a high quality one that costs more, works with your carseat, and can go the distance! Now I know....
Great Size and Multi-Functions

Stroller folds up quickly and easily to a great size. I had a complete travel system with my first child and found it very heavy and bulky in my car. This stroller does allow for the Chicco Car Seat to snap in place and also provides a fold-up umbrella style stroller after the baby gets larger. I found it a great product for the price and am very pleased.
Very Disappointed

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I bought this to go with the Chicco Key Fit 30 which I loved. Unfortunately, this stroller just doesn't cut it. It would be fine if you know you're only going to use it once a month (but then why buy a Chicco for that few uses?). I used the stroller everyday...grocery store, mall, going for walks with the dogs and it very quickly (within a couple dozen uses) began shaking and squeaking. My husband tightened it up but it didn't help. It's not a very well constructed stroller. Almost cheap in the design quality.
On top of the flimsy quality, if the stroller back was in the lay down position, it completely blocked access to the basket underneath...not a big deal because we didn't bring tons of stuff with us but annoying none the less.
I would have only given it one star but since it fits with the Keyfit and I love the Keyfit, I gave it 2 but for the money, I'd buy the Cortina set instead....
We ended up just getting a jogger with a swivel wheel...works great
LOVE THIS STROLLER

I have a one year old and have used this since he was a newborn. I used it with the Chicco Keyfit 30. I love how compact this is, I did not want a bulky travel system. I love that it folds up like an umbrella stroller. I can open and fold it without a problem while holding my son. The sunshade can come all the way down to cover my son to block the sun or rain. I do a lot of walking for exercise and this stroller has been great. The handles are plenty high for my husband to use as well. My only complaints at all are that the basket is not easy to access when the seat is reclined and that that I frequently run the rugged wheels into things while I am shopping (this could easily be attributed to my poor steering though). This has a nice 5 point harness, but I only strap it around my son;s waist so that he can sit up extra straight and have a little more freedom. Wonderful stroller for the price, I would have paid more! I am now considering the twin Trevi as I am expecting again.

I like this stroller I have four kids from age nine to one. I have had double strollers and the Graco carseat combo's overall this one is the best. It is a little heavy but I dont want a sroller that is to light they tend to be cheap made and flimsy no mater how much you pay for them. I have a small van and it dosen't take up to much space. I can still get a lot of bags in with it.My son loves it he hated riding in the graco stroller.
Not for the price...............

I bought this stroller after having the Chicco travel system, and wish I would have bought something different. It is super bulky, does not fold/store well, and not a "lightweight" stroller as claimed. After having it for less then a year, a piece from the sun shade came out, and the handles are all coming apart. The basket is worthless! Would think from the name of Chicco, the stroller would be better
Really like this stroller a lot

I really like this stroller a lot bought cause it cleans very easily not like Graco at all, comes apart well, the only thing that isnt my favorite is that the basket is small but we just down sized our diaper bag to fit. But my 1 year old fits this so well and will for a long time.
NOT WORTH IT!

I did a ton of research on consumer reports and online and ended up with this b/c it was a travel system but not as large. I loved the stroller for the first 5 months then it went downhill from there. I have gone through three sets of wheels from the company, and I have only had the stroller for not even a year! The sun visor is an absolute joke! Doesn't shield any sun and always pops off its tracking when I add an additional visor purchased seperate. I am in the process of returing it with my warranty thru babies r us and looking for something that works!
Too heavy

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller Adventure:
I registered for this while expecting my first, and received it at my baby shower. I was flabbergasted by how heavy it was!! It is described as a "lightweight travel stroller", yet it would barely fit into the trunk of our Kia Optima, and once there, we couldn't load much else. It weighs 19 lbs and although that doesn't sound like too much, the center of gravity plus the bulkiness make it extremely awkward to carry / transport. It has some nice features, like the tray / recline mechanism, but if you are small framed like me (5'1", 115 lbs), I would stay away from this one!
