Not only is it compact, I can treat it like an infant carrier. It is so easy to install and un-install that I didn't have to take her out when she was sleeping, or to put her in shopping carts like other convertible car seats. So worth the money, and would almost spend twice that for it!

The car seat is everything I imagined it to be except for the color! The Strawberry Shake colored seat is two toned but not in the picture shown on the website, you only see one color...pale pink and it's misleading.

I had a hard time finding a rear facing car seat to fit correctly in my minivan (I have a town & Country) This one is awesome!!! There is still a small gap at the bottom, but not like some of the other ones I tried. I did not want to have to put 3 or 4 noodles under the seat to make it work. This was super easy to install and takes up less room!! Best of all she sits comfortably in it, and its so light!! We live are Military stationed in Germany and when we travel this car seat is so nice because it's so light, and it fits in smaller rental cars..( we have three in car and booster seats)I could not be happier with this car seat!!
