My car was totaled in an accident yesterday. Thank goodness my daughter was not in the car at the time.
I loved this carseat before and I will not buy anything else ever again... the carseat stayed perfectly in place and functioned the way it was made to. I feel very secure knowing that my daughter would have been safe had she been riding in this carseat at the time of the accident.
I'm on my way to the store right now to replace the carseat that was in the accident with another just like it.
Wouldn't trust anything else!

We have two of these seats for our two boys. Last night, they were in the van when it was in an accident. Both boys are perfectly fine and don't have a scratch on them. They haven't complained of any pain. We researched these seats very thoroughly when we purchased them 4 years ago and they were rated the best for crash protection. Nobody likes to make sure they are the best for that, but it appears that they are. We are getting two more to replace the ones that were in the accident. I wouldn't trust my kids in anything else!

I have a 4 door Impala. When I went to install this car seat it was to big. The lines on the side that are supposed to be the same angle as the ground is IMPOSSIBLE! Also back seats of most cars have a slight tilt backwards so this car seat leans forward when it is in the rear facing position. I tried using several objects to help recline the seat back and get the correct angle, they all made this seat EXTREMELY wobbly! For the price I dont think its worth it as far as a rear facing infant seat. However, I would recommend it for a forward facing seat.

I love this carseat! It is everything I wanted in a carseat. My son always was complaining of his back hurting, so I got him this one, it has lots of padding in the back, the straps adjust very easily. Its a little larger than I expecting, but it's a very nice carseats. Its a heavy carseat as well. I would recommed this!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this car seat for about 2 1/2 years now and it is extremely durable. Easy to remove the cover to wash. My son is 3 1/2 years old and still using it. It is alittle bulky, Great cushioning though (especially if you are traveling long distances). I would not recommend it if you are planning on moving it from vehicle to vehicle as it is heavy. I am currently buying another one for my 10 month old daughter. Overall, a great car seat!!

We received this carseat as a gift from our registry and have had no problems with it, even in our tiny economy car. It was a little complicated getting the carseat in so it wouldn't shift around but other than that our son is quite comfortable in the seat. As my son outgrows his infant carrier for our other car, we will consider purchasing another one of these.

I have had this car seat for 3 years now, and it has greatly exceeded my expectations. I found it easy to set up, and easy to switch back and forth between cars. I and my husband both have jobs, and have to trade off with the kids and the sitter. It is a little large and heavy, though, which is only a slight problem when I am taking it into the sitters house. My son is now 4 years old, and still fits into this seat, being an astounding 45 pounds. We are going to buy our baby boy one when he gets big enough, which should be very soon. It's also extremely easy to clean, and I love the easy adjust straps on it.

We purchased this convertible car seat for our 10 month old son who had outgrown his infant seat. This seat was easy to install in our car (a 2007 Toyota Matrix), however, we were not able to put it in the fully reclined position and still have it level. Because of this my son's head hangs down when he sleeps and that's the only problem that I see with this seat. My son absolutely loves it; he used to cry getting in to his infant seat but now he smiles/laughs with the new seat. This seat is worth every penny and is a great value for the price.

we bought this same carseat about 5 years ago and we are still using it with our second son (be sure to keep an eye on the experation date if you do this) have used it in our 2 door neon (not a very big car) it fit fine and you do NOT have to take the padding of to buckle it in :) just thread the belt threw with your hand, it is big so it takes a little manuevering but it is easy to strap in. And you can wash the padding- multiple times lol there have been some much needed washes from our trip cross country. After probably atleast 15 washes the seat is still in great condition with nt rips!!! We are planning on buying another one for our 3rd boy that is 10 months old. GREAT carseat both for price and functionality!!

I am very satisfied with this product. It's compact and sits low to the seat so it's easy to get the baby in and out and when he gets older he will be able to climb in himself. The features are easy to use, in fact the first day I had it I was able to remove the harness and put it back in a matter of minutes (I wanted to see how easy it would be). The first car seat I bought was bulky and so big that I had to practically swing my daughter into it. I vowed I would never again buy a car seat simply because it was "rated the best." I would recommend this car seat to anyone and I'm actually thinking about getting rid of my daughter's seat and buying one of the alpha omega elites for her too!

I bought this seat for my son over a year ago and he has loved it everyday since we got it. I love it for it's safety ratings and durability. If you plan on switching it between cars alot, it is big and can be a hassel. Overall though this is a really great seat with lots of room for my son to grow in. The installation was also very easy and I never had any problems with the LATCH system.

this car seat is awesome my son loves it its so roomy.its a huge carseat it fits in our van but not our focus thats the only downfall.i would recommend this car seat to anyone.i like how u can use it for infant toddler and kids.my son is already over 2 years old so not sure how infant part is.

I own four of these seats and have been very pleased with them. They are comfy for my little ones and I feel they are very safe in them. My only complaint is it is a little difficult to set up for rear-facing using latch. I eventually got it, but it took three attempts to figure it out!

This is the second one of these car seats that I have purchased and it has worked very well for us. The first one we have had for almost 3 years and other than installation for rear facing it so nice that we decided to buy a second one for our newest child. The problem with it is that it does not secure tight enough when rear facing in a bucket seat, not sure how it is with a bench seat as our mini van does not have bench seats.

This car seat is perfect so far. My 5 month old really likes it. She hates laying in the infant carseat so this one which let her sit up more makes her happy. The only bad thing is that it takes 2 to install it. but other then that its a great seat and it fits well in little Toyota Matrix.

After reading all of the reviews, I feel that it should be made clear that the seat is SUPPOSED to slide in a pivot-like manner. The woman who claimed her sister installs carseats professionally and advised her of a design flaw is way off. There is supposed to be a degree of give from the pivot point when the carseat is latched down. This feature allows the seat to move and absorb the impact in the event of an accident. However, the carseat should NOT move more than an inch from side to side and front to back. Everyone should have their seats installed at a fire station to become educated on the proper installation and use of your seat. It is completely free, and firefighters are certified in these proceedures.
The Alpha Omega Elite is an excellent, safe seat. I do not see having to take off the cover corner when installing as being any issue of significance. I do not have tiny hands, and I still found it to be quite easy to do.
There is sufficient padding for your little one. Again, make sure that you have this seat installed at the fire station the first time you put it in, so they can advise you on how to use the features. If your son or daughter's head is flopping down, then you do not have your seat at a proper angle. This issue is not the fault of the carseat - you MUST roll a towel or use cut-up pool noodles on ANY car seat to achieve a proper incline.
I will say that the Alpha Omega Elite is not the easiest to install compared to other brands (our Recaro Signo is an absolute sinch), but this carseat is phenomenal when it comes to comfort and safety. It is sturdy, well built, and an excellent choice for protecting your little one.
You get what you pay for.

I bought this car seat a few weeks back because it was the cheapest carseat that held 5-100 pounds.I figured it would save buying any more car seats being convertable. Unfortunately, just to get the car seat strapped in you have to pull the seat pad off. I had the hardest time getting the pad hooked back to the car seat. It took me about 15 minutes and I have tiny fingers. And it took my husband and myself to adjust the seat straps.
Since we have a second car seat for travel and this one stays stationary in our Jeep, I'm keeping it, but if you plan on moving it in and out of cars on a regular basis, I wouldn't suggest this car seat.

I just had an accedent and my 10 month old was in this car seat. It worked so well that my son isn't hurt or injured. After I got him out he was fine, laughing, walking around, talking to everyone. He wasn't fased a bit. This car seat did it's job!!!
I love this seat so much that I am now going to buy it again (car seats are only good for one accedent.)

We purchased this car seat for my husband's car. Thank goodness our son does not spend too much time in his car. His little head bobs all over the place if he falls asleep in this car seat. It is also very big and is very uncomfortable for anyone to sit in the front passenger seat with this car seat in the back.

We purchased this car seat because it had the rear facing option and convertible options. When we received the product the instructions to assemble it were horrible to follow. You would think with as big as the box was it came in that the seat would have already been assembled and ready for installation. Then my husband set it up in the rear facing position in his 4 door Sierra Truck, in the back seat, and unless you moved the front seats all the way forward the car seat really didn't have any room. When we tried using the latch system the car seat would not sit firmly against the bottom truck seat. We were disappointed since we needed a rear facing car seat for his truck and something that could work for toddler years too. I don't see how the seat could function well unless you are using it in a rather large SUV or van. We did end up returning the product and will be looking for a carrier now instead.

I bought this product several years ago. I liked it because it could be used from newborn to 100 lbs. But, when the Washington State Dept of Transporation came to a class I was in to talk about car seats, and mentioned that this is the BEST car seat on the market, I was sold. Though I did use the infant seat that came with our stroller until our daughter grew out of it at 4 months. She's a very tall child. Unfortunately we also had to buy her a booster because of the angle of the seat bothered her legs, when put into our vehicle with angled seats (not a car seat defect, just the angle of our seats with the angle of the car seat was awkward for her). NOW it is time for my grandchild (yes I have a child in a booster, and a grandchild on the way). I have already told my son not to buy a car seat, because I want to make sure he gets this one. I'm glad that it is much cheaper now than it was 6 years ago.

My son loves this car seat. Went on a 13hr road trip and he relax in his big chair like a king MOST of the ride. It did take an ENTIRE DAY to install the tricky thing but we finally got it. By the way, the instruction booklet didn't help AT ALL. Would definitely recommend this product to ALL NEW MOMS.

I bought this carseat because it was rated very high in the safety department. The installation is TERRIBLE and I am returning it today. I drive a 97 saturn sedan and we could not get it tight enough to the seat. We tried with the base and without the base. We tried the rolled up towel trick and it still slid all over the seat. I even had my sister who is professionally trained to install carseats try it and she told us there had to be something wrong with the design and to return it.
We tried using the latch hooks in my husbands car and they didn't even reach! Then we tried clipping them together in back of the seat like the manual says and they wouldn't even reach each other to hook together! I suppose it's possible that it was just a lemon, but I am a details person and read the instructions 3x and still couldn't make it work properly. All in all, avoid this seat if you have a small backseat to work with!

My son is now 2 and I have used this carseat and continue to use this carseat for a long time. I really like the positioning device for the head and back support. The cup on mine is removable but really doesn't even get used. My son removes it almost immediately. If there was an improvement on this item it would be to have a fixed cup holder or soemthing securing it better. It is also difficult to removed the padding and put back on. But it is possible. Overall I am pleased with the product and recommend it for any new moms. This seat is still continuing to grow with my child as I have now adjusted it to a booster seat.

We really like this seat, even though it does not work well rear facing. We bought it for #1 and used it briefly rear facing, it did not fit well. Forward facing we've had great luck and just bought another for #2. Both kids like it, seem comfortable, and I don't have any trouble at all installing it. We've been to carseat checks with it and it fits well & tight enough. Our first seat is 3 years old, I've washed the liner several times, and it's held up very well. The only mildly troublesome thing is the straps getting twisted occasionally.

My son is about to be 8 months old and has out grown his infant seat, so i started looking for a carseat that will fit him for a while!!! I saw this one and i was impressed at how well it fit everything i needed! It is 3 in one, rear facing, once they are a year old it is forward facing and then turns into a booster... I truely could not ask for a better deal on a carseat, plus the price was really reasonable(my SIL paid much more than we did for hers) There is one thing i am not to happy about but i guess we will just have to deal with it till my son turns one and faces forward which is only a few months away! The ancher straps are not long enough for my car when it is rear facing(i have a 2003 Santafe) so all i could use is the lap belt in the middle!! But other than that it is an awesome carseat and i would recomend it to anyone. thanks for listening.
