PROS: Cute, gender neutral design, good price for all you get, easily put together once you figure it outCONS: mildew smell, poorly translated directions, toys on bar not very goodI [...] Next, I had some problems putting it together because the directions were VERY poorly translated. I really only had troubles with the changing table, but after studying the picture on Babies R Us, I was able to figure it out pretty easily. The rest I was able to put together without any directions at all.My only other complaint was that the toys on the toy bar seemed more like cat toys than baby toys. They have little ribbons with tiny tassels attached to the bottom of the little stuffed animals. A cat would love them. I'm afraid the tassels could be a choking hazard, but the ribbon and tassels could be cut off to avoid that possibility. The toys also aren't the bright, primary colors as seen in the picture above.Despite all that, I really like this playard. It's construction is sturdy and I like that it's gender neutral and looks nice in my home. It's not overly kiddie, but not too boring and bland either. It has all the elements I wanted in a playard without being too expensive. I plan on using it as a bassinet in our bedroom for the first few months to make breastfeeding easier. After that, it will go in my living room so that I can keep an eye on her as she naps throughout the day. Also, it's perfect for taking camping and other outdoor activities because of how easy it is to pack up for travel.
