My Daughter loved the seat at first, actually it was the only thing she would sleep in once she was home from the hospital. I think there is something wrong with the design of this...once my daugter was around a month and 1/2 she became too long for the chair (only 22 inches i might add) she would kick her feet and hit her heels on the battery pack at the bottom of the chair. wish i got a bouncy seat instead becasue now after only 2 months of use i need to buy a new chair

I have a newborn baby girl, and this product has been a huge blessing for us! It's all she can really "play with" right now, and we have a swing, but it's a bit much since she's so little.

The vibrations are gentle and perfect, and the songs are adorable. She gets a calm little smile on her face every time we put her in it!I can put it up on the bed and let her take a nap while I get a little cleaning done.

The infant insert is wonderful too! She looks so snuggled up and secure in it, I have no worries, which for me is a rarity!

Can't say enough how helpful it's been!

This chair was the only thing I used for my son when he was an Infant. He slept in this chair all day from newborn to about 4 months old. It is extremely safe, and comfortable, and since its close to floor-level there is no worry about falling or getting hurt. He just LOVED being in this chair and looked so cute and comfy! This was the 1 product I was sad he outgrew besdies the Exersaucer. It was extremely useful for a new parent like myself.

I purchased this papasan for my daughter. She was premature and had a reflux problem. This chair was a life saver. We couldn't lay her flat to sleep for fear of choking so she slept in this for the first 6 months until her reflux improved. Its a good study chair that's comfortable and well designed.

This seat was great for my son when he was a newborn. Strap them in and take a quick shower. Very useful as newborn but definately not useful for long my son was out of this seat within 3 months.

It is a very cute and sturdy bouncer, but the main problem with it was my little girl never liked it, I don't know if she was uncomfortable or what, but she never fell asleep in it, she would just sit there and cry.

I thought this chair was adorable and added it to my registry, but it was soon apparent my baby did not share my admiration. She never seemed to like it and no amount of adjusting the straps kept her from sliding down into a kind of wedgie situation. No bouncing, and the vibration was not great and would shut off too soon and baby was back up. The tunes didn't seem to impress her either. And the arm that suspends the toy/mirror was just in the way, I took it off and put it in the closet. Before my daughter could even sit up she was lunging forward in the chair and could almost tip herself out because there is no chest harness. Needless to say we didn't get to use this very much. The best thing I can say is that it is cute and folds flat for storage. My friend has the boppy bouncer, I think I will try it with our next baby.

I have a 2 week old son. This is a great little seat that I use when I need to do some paperwork and set the baby down without feeling bad because he's awake and I have to do something.

He loves to stare at the bee and Im not sure if he can see in it yet, but there's a mirror under the little leaf too which is a cute idea.

It plays music or vibrates or does both for a period of time and then turns off on its own. The only thing that would be nice is a volume control for sound.

Also, I have very limited amount of space in my home and this folds flat, with ease for storing. I just keep it against the wall behind the hamper.

the seat is comfortable and well made, but that's about it. the seat is stationary and does not bounce at all. There is a vibrating mode on the seat but the motor is a little louder than I would like. And the hanging toy is very boring. I returned mine immediately.

This was a life saver! The vibrating put our baby to sleep right away and it's low to the ground so you don't have to worry about your baby falling. We used it from the day we came home from the hospital.

My son slept in this chair from day one while I was downstairs. I didnt want to put him back upstairs in crib for his many naps a day. It is so comfy, easy to travel with and clean too. He used it until 6 or 7 months, best chair ever.

I have the "nature's touch" papasan chair which basically this same chair with different colors. The material the seat is made from seems very comfortable and cozy, but I think that is about the only positive I have for this item. The toy is kind of boring (I don't believe it moves or anything), and THIS ITEM IS NOT A BOUNCER; the seat is stationary. It only has one position, which is somewhere in between reclined and sitting. I think it might be good for an older baby, but I tried to use it a lot when she was little bitty (3 mo and under), and she would slip down into an uncomfortable looking position that tightening the seat straps didn't seem to help with. Still happens and she is 4.5 months old. It does fold up, making it easier to store than some of the bouncy seats (but remember, it is NOT a bouncy!).

it's nice & comfy... my son slept in it for his first week & then he would take naps in it until he was about a month old. he liked it better when he was a newborn though, he's 4 months old & there is not much to look at, when I put him in it now he gets bored & wants to get out in a few minutes & he never will stay asleep in it.

This was our favorite infant baby item. Very soothing music, relaxing for baby and relaxing for us. It is very lightweight and easy to carry around the house for use in various rooms. We live in a city rowhouse, and this is not a big bulky item, it does not take up a lot of space. Our child is a toddler now and we have stored this item away very easily. Cannot rave enough about the soothing music and peace and relaxation this brought to our baby and our home.

I spent a lot of time researching bouncer seats to find what I was looking for, and this one met all the requirements. The cushions are soft, and the colors are soothing. Padding washes well, and it wasn't difficult to assemble. Over all very happy with the bouncer so far. Can't wait to see my little one in it!

I used this seat for both of my sons for countless hours. It is so soothing, relaxing and cozy. Some reveiws say its boring and doesnt bounce-- it's supposed to be soothing and it is NOT a bouncey seat. It plays soothing lullabies and gently vibrates. I passed mine along to a friend, then to my sister in law -- they both LOVED it and after 4 kids using it, it's still in excellent condition! It's so easy to clean.

I love this infant seat. My daughter used it from the day we brought her home until about 6 months, she practically lived in it. Its so soft and cuddley they feel secure in it. We are expecting our second child and I am purchasing another, because we used the first one so much the cover is alittle worn from being washed so much. Although the seat is very usable still I'll probably bring it to my moms so the new baby has one there and at our home. I would def. recommend this seat to any parent!!!!

great for my preemie, other swings and seats were too big for him. still using it at 4 months. easy to fold and take with us in the car to use at family and friends houses. entire cover can go in wash, making it easy to clean. my baby has taken many naps in this. arm with hanging bee kind of a silly feature and do not use.

We received this papasan as a gift and we didn't know if we would use it. We already had a bouncer and we thought this was overkill. WE WERE WRONG! This cradles him and is soft and comfy. He absolutely loves it. He will use his bouncer later when he has more control and needs more stimulation. I read in another review that their baby's feet hang off. If that happens, you can always use the harness and strap them in. Personally, when he slides down, I just let his feet dangle because he seems to like it.

We registered and received this product because it was gender neutral and we wanted to be able to use it with subsequent children. We weren't sure how much we would use the infant seat but it has been a must have for our daughter! She loves the seat, and the attached mirror. She is not fond of how vigorous the seat vibrates, however, but we use this almost everyday with the music to calm and soothe her.

This was the only thing my newborn relaxed in. It is truly a MUST. My newborn loved the music and vibrations. The only con is that he outgrew it by 7 weeks. I thought it would have lasted a few more weeks but his feet started dangling (he is 23 in).

Also, this is GREAT for them to sleep in. I never left the house without this and my son often has taken naps and slept at night in this.

My son slept in this for the first five months due to Reflux. As a toddler, he still loves to sit in it and just hang out. I would recommend it.
