The look of this swing is great. The downside of it is that it does not fold up and it takes up a lot of room. The motor makes a noise and only works when it wants to. My husband had took the swing apart to fix the motor and it still makes a very loud clicking noise. And since my daughter weighs 14lbs, it hardly swings at all. I also wish that this swing would have some bar along the front for my daughter too look at. There are better swings out there to purchase. This is my first child and I would definately research this before another purchase.

I bought this product because my 3 month old son loved the one at daycare, it looks great, and the music and bird noises are not annoying. Many reviews say that the motor doesn't work properly, but I took the risk because the one at daycare worked fine. Our experience so far is that it sometimes needs a little push to get going to the right speed. Occasionally, it will just slow down, which makes me wonder how it will hold up as he gets heavier. The motor could be better engineered. However, it currently works well enough for our purposes at home--to keep baby occupied while we fix supper and to help him get to sleep for an afternoon nap on the weekends. Battery life seems fine.

I wish I would've listened to the ratings! It looks cool, but we hardly ever use it. My son is only 15 lbs now and the swing is already going slower and slower. I tried switching out the batteries, but it still has a hard time swinging him. Even though it is stylish, it takes up a lot of room.

After reading the reviews, i was a bit worried about purchasing this swing....but, so far, I am pleasantly surprised! My 9 week old is 15+ lbs and this swing has no problem swinging with him in it, the hammock style seat fits hims long frame very well, and the swing itself is very quiet. The music and nature sounds are very soothing, and overall the swing works great at putting my son to sleep lickitly split. I'm thinking all of the complaints came from a bad batch on the production line. We haven't had it long enough to know whether the batteries last a long time, but we do have the brentwood seat, and the batteries have laster over 2 months with nearly daily use.

I wanted to get this swing because I thought it would look great with our furniture. And I thought the quality would be just as good as any other swing out there. WRONG! I still like how it looks, but it didn't swing well when it was working and after about five months of use the motor is completely burned out!! It also burns through batteries. The last time I changed the batteries though it still won't swing. DEAD!

So the good points. The lining is removable to wash and it looks nice. I also like the music it comes with. I wish I could remove the music and use it with other things, it really put him to sleep when we used it. I guess that's what I get when I don't read reviews before I decide I want something.

I read the reviews after our swing started acting finicky (only working sometimes and not others after just a few days) and was ready to return the swing when my husband, the engineer, took it apart only to find that the red wire connecting the battery to the motor was not actually connected, so it touched sometimes (swing magically works) and not others. He connected it and for 7 weeks it has worked like a charm. I could not live without it!

UGG, UGG, UGG!! The only thing this swing has going for it is the look. The function of this swing is SERIOUSLY terrible. It makes a loud noise, it swings when it wants too...and thats pretty much never. And when I was putting it together it seemed a little wobble a little...so I decided to tighten the screws...this resulted in two of them breaking through to the other side and now it LOOKS horrible. I purchased this swing on MEGA clearance and I now know why. Terrible!!! I would return it but its certainly not convenient to take it apart and ship it back.

We love this swing, have had no problems! We used fresh, new Duracell batteries and for 2 months now and the swing is still swinging! My son uses the swing for about 2 hours, almost everyday. He falls asleep easily in it and is very happy in this swing. It is nice that it folds up for transporting and storage. I absolutely would recommend this swing to friends and family, as we have not had any of the problems that other posters have had that gave this swing negative reviews.

Cute swing with designer appeal. However, me liking the look of it had me disregard other people's comments. Thus, I'm stuck with a swing that has one speed. Apparently, slow and fast are equal in rates of speed. My daughter doesn't like this swing as it doesn't have adequate cushion and nowhere to hang toys for her entertainment. This swing is wobbly also...

People. I know what you are thinking. It is a totally cute swing, the fabric is gender neutral. It won't look too obnoxious in your living room.

We have both the rocker and the swing and I wouldn't buy either of them again. The swing BARELY swung my seven pound newborn. It would often turn off randomly. We have replaced batteries, inspected the assembly, everything seems right. Now that my baby is eight months old, we got the swing out of storage to see if it would help her sleep upright when she had a cold. Now it doesn't swing AT ALL. Not even a little rocking motion- nothing. It's not that Isabelle is too big either- she is a petite 15 pounds.

I'm bummed, because it's such a cute swing, and ours is basically brand new, but it totally sucks. We are planning for more babies, and we will have to buy a new bouncer and swing.

I bought this after having to return the Graco Lovin Hug which would stop swinging. The shape of this seat is perfect for a larger baby. I have an older model Graco that is a workhorse (from my first child who is now 9), but they don't make it any more. With twins, sharing a swing was not an option. My kids are now 10 months and 20+ pounds and still fit comfortably. It's probably too big for a child under 3-4 months.

The music selection is very soothing, as are the "nature sounds". The wood legs and green and brown toned fabric are a nice decor touch- fits in very nicely in my family room. Battery life is decent- but you still need to invest in the D batteries.

Well the first one we purchased went back because it started to make a horrible sound... We should have picked something else, but we didn't [...] The new one worked fine for about a month then it stopped moving on it's own, we have to actually push it in order for it to get stared. Then when it does get going its too fast, even on the lowest setting. Sometimes it just stops swinging after a while. The music is also too loud even on the low setting...

We registered for this swing because it looked nice. Unfortunately it did not work. We put it together and 1) it would barely swing and 2) it made a HORRIBLE grinding sound. We ended up returning it and getting the Little Lamb Papasan swing instead and that's way better.

We bought this for one thing-the looks. It is modern and matched our house perfectly. This was a terrible mistake. Here is why:

1. all levels from low to high swing the same

2. As she got older and heavier the swing would barely move her

3. Called customer service and they sent out an entire new motor-the new motor does the exact same thing. So unless your baby is under 13lbs don't expect this swing to move fast at all.

4. Flimsy construction

5. No toys!!! So boring for the baby once they want to play

Overall this was one of the worst products I purchased for my baby. I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews before I wasted my money on this product

We wanted baby products that had an attractive apparence. We knew we would be looking at this all the time and it would become a part of our home. When we bought this swing it was new on the market so there were no reviews to go by. First complaint is that it only runs off of batteries. Not budget friendly. So we always had backup batteries on hand. Also there is no toy bar or mobile to keep the childs attention. My child did get alot of use out of it. Im glad we got it. Just make sure to look at all the options and dont buy something for its looks. Lesson learned on my part.

I was drawn into the beautiful design of this swing before my second son was born. I didn't trust the bad reviews I had read and registered for it anyway. Now, my son is three months old and can't be bothered with it. Every baby is different, of course, but beside the appealing design for the parents,the music (beautiful lullaby or nature sounds), and the choice between upright and declined seat positions.. this swing doesn't have a whole lot to offer. Even at three months it seems my son is bored, as there is nothing to look at. Many of the other swings available today have either mobile-like objects above the baby or toys at eye/hand level. I read reviews before we recieved the swing complaining about the speed of the swing... we didn't experience any issues with the speed... however, today the motor totally wimped out. I changed the batteries immediately thinking that was all that was wrong but the same problem continued. The swing rocks strong (with a nice push from mama or poppi) but within a minute or two it seems like the motor could bearly support the weight of my son. (and he is by no means a big boy) Overall I'm a little sad and embarrased that I chose design over function... my son is missing out because of my need for "pretty things".

Have returned this thing twice. the only thing it does well is look good standing still. One of them was super loud, the other peters out and stops swinging after a few minutes. Both have a lackadaisical swing, even on the highest setting. Really sad that we went for the look of this thing, rather than testing it out.

At first when our boy was about 4 weeks old the swing's "slow" speed was WAY too fast. Now at about 12lbs the swing "slow" speed is just perfect. However, we had to tape those plastic chain links with toys on them going across the front of the swing, otherwise, there is nothing to entertain him. It is a great swing if you just want to put your little one to sleep.

I agree with the other comments as the swing isn't suitable for a baby less than 10lbs. Although, I bought a head support for my son that matched perfectly with the colors and it worked wonders. The fact that it swings rather fast never bothered my son. My only complaint, although it falls on my behalf, is that there is nothing to entertain my baby. I had not thought of this before I registered for it and now I'm regretting it. I think the fact that it is extremely appealing made me jump the gun without thinking about anything else beforehand.

Its very pretty. My daughter (2 mo.) Loves it, sleeps in it and I can get more done throughout the day. I love it because it works fer her. All of the ones that I liked in the store, she didnt like. Its convenient because it reclines and she doesn't have to have anything too fancy, she can watch a learning dvd for babies. Took me all night to put together, no motor problems yet

I tried this seat a couple of times before my baby was 8 wks old and she didn't really care for it. I later read that if you put blankets rolled in the seat and drape a blanket out the front it makes them more comfortable and slows the seat, which it does because when her blanket falls out the front it does slow down dramatically. It swings pretty fast otherwise, even on the lowest setting, but she loves it now that she is older. I like that the chair sits more upright because she likes to be upright. There is no mobile, which doesn't matter to me because all she does is sleep in it during the day. The music stops by itself after a little while, and there is no 5 point harness, otherwise I like it.

Our son appeared much more comfortable in this swing than others we tried in the store (he's long and thin). Now that we've had the swing for a month he still seems to like it but I'm bored with its depressing music and nature sounds (there are no upbeat options). I haven't found the motor to be particularly noisy as others have mentioned. It's pretty (because it's frame is wooden), super easy to clean, relatively easy to move from room to room, and surely gets the job done but I feel much better placing my son in his Kickin' Coaster (by First Years) when I need "me" time.
