When I received this I thought it was made from the puffy vinyl shelf liner that's on the market today. It's kind of thin and flimsy, but for $10 what can you expect?! However, once we put it in the car it did it's job as a carseat gripper and to our surprise it does protect the seat from indentations to some degree. If you're looking for a thick seat protector this isn't the one. For the price it's really not worth it, but it does keep the carseat from slipping and sliding. For that reason I would recommend it. Shipping was FAST! Thanx Walmart.com!
