I use this swing every night to relax my baby put her to sleep. We've been doing this routine since she was born and still do it 10 months later. She gets so relaxed and loves playing with the attached toys. I love the neutral, soft colors and the many different sounds/songs it plays. a lot of my mommy friends have the same swing and its perfect for a boy or girl.

Loved the papasan idea and the material is so soft and cushy, however once I put it together and tried it out, the motor is so loud I just can't stand it. It sounds like it's struggling to make the chair swing. You have to have the volume on the highest setting to drown out the loud motor noise. I will be returning this swing.

I love this swing. My son has used it since he was 4 months old, he is almost 10 months old and still uses it. It is stable, and easy to move from room to room (a bit bulky but not an issue), and easy to clean (we just throw it in the washer and dryer). Overall, I would recommend this product and think it's a great product.

I got this swing from my registry. I have the matching bouncer seat which I love. This swing is so adorable, but soooooooo loud. The motor sounds like it is dieing. I read reviews where it seems like half the people experience this, and I'm not sure why. Its unbearable though. Not only that, when you put it on more than the first setting, the swing really seems to go too fast. I'm bringing this back to the store and looking for something else.

Having this as our second swing, I have to say I was super excited to get this as a gift b/c it's so cute and there are so many functions. On the downside, the slowest setting to the swing is actually pretty fast. There isn't a vibrating function which we found very useful with our first child and I do wish the mobile would move up or to the side b/c everytime I place my baby in the swing, he hits the animals and he usually wakes. Other than that, it's easy to set up and looks great in our living room!

My daughter is almost 3 months old. I have already changed the batteries 3 times. The motor is dying on it. The sound box sounds like a broken record. It is terrible. I agree with all the other negative reviews that have been posted. I definitely would not recommend this swing.

I bought this swing when my son was 3 weeks old and we were at our wits end. At first I thought it went too fast but after watching Happiest Baby on the Block DVD (from a friend), I realized that the motion was calming and it really helped him sooth. Now we jack it up to a moderate speed at 3 months old and he will stare at the mobile and mirror then nap. Plus, it seems slows down as the baby gets heavier and with a blanket. We took off the tray cause it seemed too much for his age and stock up on the batteries. But we love it and would've gone crazy without it.

Both of our babies love to sleep in this swing.

The swing is bulky, packing this thing up for a vacation is a huge pain. Most of it comes apart with push-buttons, except ONE that requires a hex key, which is a huge pain to keep track of on vacation.

The thing eats batteries. Some models have an AC adapter. They all should. We leave ours in one place for most of its life, so why not plug it in instead of having a midnight battery crisis. If you want a portable swing, this thing isn't for you.

The first one broke - the motor blew out. Our friends had the same thing happen, they replaced their motor, we just bought a new one (time crunch). The second one squeeked most of the time, driving us nuts.

It seems pretty stable, but it does some times rock enough to lift one foot off the ground enough to make an annoying noise, causing me to wake up and adjust it.

I'd recommend it just because my daughters love to sleep in it, and I guess its worth the cost of multiple of these for me to make them happy and get a good sleep. But a little more quality would go a long way.

One our son was born, he was 7 pounds. For the first 2-3 weeks, we folded a blanket for him to sit on so he wouldn't sink so slow into the seat. Now at 3 months old, he is a perfect fit. He has loved it since day 1. He will sit and "hang out" in it and can also sleep in it for hours.
The ONLY thing we wish it had was a night light of some sort. It has a reflective mirror for the baby to look up at but I don't think he cares for it at all.

My lil man loves this swing. He normally sleeps 4-5 hours in his crib. Once you put him into this swing whether he's fussy or not, he falls asleep and sleeps well. So far, his record is 6 hours of sleep. Easy to set up also.

I have used this swing since the day we brought Gavin home. I used the Fisher Price Natures Touch Papasan Swing for my now 3 year old daughter and couldn't have lived without it then, so when they came out with the Little Lamb Swing I couldn't wait to get this swing for my son. I love the plush fabrics, the mobile that spins and the lullabies. He is 2 1/2 months old now and about 16 lbs (chunky chunky baby) and still swinging away every day! The only problem I do have with the swing (and also the natures touch with my daughter) is that the motor does make a little noise. But this doesn't seem to bother my son as he sleeps right through it daily! I would recommend this swing to all parents to be.

We bought this swing after our baby girl was born and were looking for new ways to occupy her and get her to sleep. She didn't really start taking to the swing until about 5 weeks but now it is my saving grace! I can put her in the swing when she is tired and fussy and she will fall asleep in it on her own - I don't have to rock her for an hour! When I can't rock her to sleep on my own I put her in the swing until she falls asleep and then transfer her to the crib. We've already gotten our money's worth on this swing! Wish there was travel size - we are going on vacation this week and will try to make it portable so we can take with us! PS - I think my baby likes the clicking - the constant rhythmic sound seems to soothe if that's possible!

Bought this swing a little over a week ago and must say I am absolutely amazed. The moment I put my little one in it, he's out like a light for the next half hour to 2 hours. Easy to set up, I personally do not think it takes up much space (fits in a corner) and the lullabies it plays are very soothing. I don't thinks its noisy as some others have pointed out and the seat where the baby sits is cozy and plush. I bought this swing 3 days ago and we put it together and it seemed to work great, we were very pleased! The next day I walked into the living room and noticed the swing was tilted to one side. I didn't and still don't know how it happened since it was fine the last time I saw it but when I turned the dial to make it swing it made this awful cranking sound and didn't move much. Then I rememebered the one in the store on display was doing the same thing. I instantly took it back and got my money! Such a shame, it is really adorable!

I only have 2 complaints: the swings slowest setting could be slower...my daughter doesnt like it that fast...and second, the mirror and toys are low so i keep bumping my poor babies head..have to be very careful

From the first moment I placed my son in this swing, he loved it. It was my saving grace to sleep at night as well. He slept in this some nights for 5-6 hours. Great if you are nursing and need some ZZZZZZZs. It makes a noise when rocking but the lullaby tunes can help drown out the sound.

I loved this swing when I got it. So soft and my child loved sleeping in it. But, after a couple months it wasn't so great.
It got kind of noisey and there was this constant clicking when it was swinging. One day I walked in and the chair was almost sideways. I took my child out and realized the chair had come loose! There was no way to fix it so I returned it and invested in a different swing which so far I love.

We used this until our daughter was 4 months old and she loved it. She loved rocking from side to side and for awhile, would only sleep during the day if she was in the swing. She loved the mobile and the mirror and would just stare up smiling until she would fall asleep. We used the swing a lot and only had to change the batteries twice during this time. We stopped using it because our daughter was ready for new toys, started napping in her crib, and because she is over the 15 pound mark and the swing was starting to struggle with her. I know it says it can handle 25 pounds, but I think 15 is really the max. Overall though we loved this swing and if we ever needed to replace it, we would definitely buy the same or similar model.

The swing is perfect for a newborn! We were getting zero sleep until a friend recommended the swing. The seating looks very comfortable and my son would stay in it all day if we let him. Many have commented that the swing is too fast for a newborn - it is - but the instructions also say that it will swing fast for lighter babies (so recommends putting a blanket hanging off of the side). We did this and it swung at the perfect speed for our newborn. He is now 14 lbs and we put it on the second setting (first is already too slow). There is volume control for the soothing music - or you can turn it off if you choose. EASY set up! We love this swing and now buy it for all other friends having babies!!!!

I've has this swing for 6 months and the 2nd motor burnt out today. The first motor went out after 2 months. Fisher Price sent me a new one and for the most part the swing hasn't been used. My son is sick this week and will only sleep sitting up. I put him in it today with fresh batteries and it swung for about 5 mins before you could no longer hear the motor. Motor number 2 is done. I called Fisher price again [...]You're paying for it's cuteness and nothing more. Obviously the motor is made out of cheap parts. I will not buy another Fisher Price swing again. 4 yrs ago I had the Ocean Wonders one and the motor burnt out on it too. Way to charge us [$] for something worth 50. Save your money, you'll be glad you did.

My baby girl has severe GERD and no one was getting any sleep. I started putting her to bed in this since it inclines her head, and it was like magic! Now she sleeps a good 5 hours at a time during the night. It's cozy for her and cradles her head making it perfect for a newborn. She's now 2 months old and is starting to watch the mobile, and look at herself in the mirrored dome, and grin while trying to reach the toys. The music is also soothing. A huge pro is the battery life. We were worried about this, but she is now 9 weeks old and we are on the original batteries! The only possible con is that the slowest speed is really too fast for a newborn. We just started using it at 6 weeks. Until then we pushed it ourselves.

This swing was fine, but we ended up returning it. It was quite time-consuming to set up, and in the end, it was still wobbly when the swing was moving. The swing was really loud when it moved. It also takes lots of batteries, which costs more money in addition to buying the swing.

The speakers had lots of static, and even more when the swing was moving. The lowest volume setting wasn't soft enough- it was always too loud when I was trying to soothe my baby. The selection of songs got really obnoxious, too.

The seat itself was very nice and comfortable. The head rest was really nice for newborns. I liked that it had two recline settings. The furthest back position was great for newborns and sleeping.

If this was your only choice, it would be fine. But there are better ones out there.

My daughter is 3 months old and my swing is broken!!! I noticed it a few weeks ago when the mobile conked out and the swing barely moved back and forth and then stopped swinging all together. I originally thought it was bad batteries but after swapping them the swing still didn't work. My husband, who is very handy, tried taking it apart to figure out what was wrong but after all the screws were out it wouldn't budge it open without breaking it. My daughter loved this swing and I can't believe it broke so early.

This swing is incredible. When our baby is crying and we have tried everything to calm her - this works every time. I cannot count how many times we put her in here at 2:00 AM to get her back to sleep and it works every time. The only problem is that it's not easy to travel with because I wish I never had to leave home without it. Our 7 week old loves to look up at the mirror & mobile and she is completely content. We have the matching bouncy lamb chair and she doesn't like that as much.

I just started to notice him staring at the mobile above. I bought the swing specifically for the position/direction options, but I think it is unnecessary because we have never turned the swing once. We probably didn't need to spend the extra money for that feature.

We don't need the swing often, but it works like a charm for my baby boy when he is fussy. The swing is very cute and we have only every put in one set of batteries.

My son never even notices the mobile toys, until we turn them on, but then he thinks they are fascinating. I think the colors are too pastel to catch Baby's notice. Also, the swing takes up lots of space and really doesn't fold down very easily or compactly, so make sure you have the room for it.

I did buy the floor model of this swing at a discount, so it has experienced heavy use and was missing the tray. However, I am disappointed by the swinging mechanism. It seems noisy and wimpy. It needs a push start that is close to in time with the swinging mechanism and needs turned up to the second or third level to even move my baby (but this could be from being used). I was very pleased with how well it cleaned up, though! The grime and scuffs from the store came right off with a disinfectant wipe and the removable cushion brightened up in one wash.

My biggest complaint so far is the limited size of baby this swing accommodates! It says up to 25 lbs, but I can't figure out how a baby that size would fit! My son is two months old and is 24 inches and over 13 lbs. Though he is in the 90th height and weight percentiles, he is nowhere near the manufacturers weight limit. However I have the head cushion moved all the way up and the lap harness extended all the way and my baby just barely fits. It's a good thing he doesn't need the swing much because he'll outgrow it by 3 months!

Overall, I think this is a cute swing with lots of nice features, but I think I could have found something I liked as much or better for a lower price and fewer u

I wanted to LOVE this swing. I really did. My son has the lambie bouncer and absolutey loves it. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is ONLY battery operated. I knew that going in and was ok with it. What I was NOT ok with, is HOW LOUD the motor is on it. Granted we can turn on the music and make the music louder than the motor, but, uh annoying. Maybe we just got a faulty one? Also, my son is 2 months old and the little mobile that hangs over his head is so close. He could reach up and pull at it practically. I think it is way too close for him to stare at. We have the jungle swing and the the mobile is at a much better height, isn't loud and can be plugged into the wall. OH and it doesn't fold up like the jungle swing either, or if it does, we can't figure it out. The jungle one is super easy to fold up. (By "the jungle one" I mean "rain forest".

A friend told me this item was a must have...boy was she right! My daughter loves it! The swinging motion and music calm her down right away and lull her into a wonderful nap. If I find that she's fussy at bedtime I put her into the swing and she calms down right away and dozes enough for me to get her into her crib or bassinet for sleep. It's not only great for sleeping; as her vision improves and she needs more stimulation, the reflective surface of the mobile keeps her intrigued as she stares at herself as well as the spinning lambs, moons, and stars. My only criticism is that the batteries die out way too quickly...my husband and i are going to buy stock in Duracell! Despite that,I highly recommend this swing, it was a lifesaver!

My second baby was extremely fussy and we weren't getting any sleep. Exhausted at 5 weeks I got this and life has been way better. He sleeps in it at night and afternoon nap, crib the other times. This is a MUST HAVE!! I never do these comment things but for this I had to!! I work from home so this swing saved my job.....and sanity! My baby would sleep in this swing all day if she could. I would have thought this was a great swing, had my mother not purchased a different one for her home. She has the Fisher-Price Zen Collection swing. Compared to that one, the Little Lamb was quickly exchanged. The motor is way too loud, and the batteries start dying almost immediately. My baby is 7.5lb and at the lowest setting it was way too fast. Also the mobile cannot be moved, and it was difficult to get the baby in and out without hitting her face on the stuffed animals. But my newborn did love the mobile.
The Zen swing has an AC adapter so it can be used without batteries. That more than makes up for the $30 price difference.

OK I have to be honest....I like this swing but the batteries do not last long. It takes 3 D batteries and they will last for about 10 days. The motor is really loud BUT it seems to soothe my son. He really likes this swing and takes all of his naps in it. The swing also creeks A LOT. Not at first, but now that my son is 14 lbs, I think it's working harder. I have to give it a good rating only b/c my son does love it and it does put him right out.

This swing is so cute!! The clouds move up and down as the mobile moves, its great! I love the sounds it comes with, they are very relaxing! Very easy to put together!! My only concern is it makes a ticking noise when it starts to rock, but goes away after it gets going. Not sure if it will disturb the little one or not. I will find out when he arrives! Can't wait to use it!!

I love this swing!!!The first 3 weeks my baby didn't really like it but now he is 3 months and he loves to be in it everyday since. The mobile is perfect as well as the mirror. He is able to sit there and be entertained while I clean,cook etc. If you purchase any item to help you entertain a newborn-I think this is it.

We use this everyday, for her naps, we she gets fuzzy and when she gets tired of being in the playpin. I love the soothing music that it plays and the dangaling sheeps that our daughter loves to reach. One thing we we're too happy was the battery life is poor, but other than that we love everything else about it.

We have twins and these swings were a lifesaver. Loved them so much we bought 2. They were the only way to put babies down and get anything done for months. We are 6 months old now and sad to have already outgrown them. The only way they could be any better is if theyh made them a little more adjustable so you could use them longer. The harness also has not gone around our boys for a long time, nereds to be bigger. But all in all definatley worth the money

My daughter loved swinging and looking at the mobile/mirror above. Didn't mind the clicking noise at all and the batteries lasted a long time. She is now 6 months and will probably only get a couple more months out of it. That will be a sad day. Wish they made these for adults. It's so plush!

I got this swing for a shower gift, the first month it did ok. It is loud and takes forever to get the baby swinging. After one month it would only swing for a min. then stop, then it woundn't even start to swing. I went to the store got a second one, and NOW this one is doing the same thing. I would encourage you to buy a different brand! It has been a huge PAIN!

This is the second swing we had to buy for our newborn because she hated her first swing. This one is so soft and cuddly, plus it's super easy to switch positions. The only drawbacks I could find is that it is only battery operated (does not plug into wall) and music and mobile do not stay on for a lengthy period without being reset (although some parents might like that). I am so glad we ordered this swing!

This product is fantastic! We weren't aware that my son was lactose intolerant until 6 weeks. Other than being walked around, this swing was the only thing that would soothe him. Now it's his go to place for nap time. The additional settings, removable tray, and choice of music just add to its appeal. We had purchased another swing for my mother's house, for when she's babysitting, and have ended up carrying this one back and forth. The only difficulties are that it isn't very compact even when folded up and it requires frequent battery replacement on the higher settings.

The swing is great! One of the best things that I love about the swing is that it looks very comfortable. My son can be in the swing for hours. The material is very soft and the baby's head cushion is nice and cushioned. The music is great, the mirror above the baby is large and the baby seems to like it. The small toys are very cute. The only cons about this swing is that the canopy in the back always comes out of place and the swing makes a small "chuck-chuck" noise when getting started, you have to give it a small push to stop the noise. Other than that the swing is great! My son is 4 weeks today and uses the swing everyday for about easily 9 hours a day and the batteries are still working.

This is a good swing. It's comfortable, sturdy, and soothing. I think the battery life is good for what it is. I can not imagine any battery operated swing lasting forever. I get about 1 month and a half out of the batteries, may have gotten longer if we didn't use the mobile. The one thing I really, really wish this swing had was a locking mechanism for when you are placing baby in. The swing arm always moves as you try to put baby in, and when you are trying to avoid bopping baby's head on the mobile, I feel this is a big drawback...and potential safety hazard.If they would just add that one feature I would be a lot happier with it. It's a bit of a pain to wash the seat cover too due to the useless netting and plastic tubing on the top.

My 7 week old daughter loves this swing- therefore, so do I! It's wonderful for naps because it's very cozy, and now that she's old enough to look around, she's very entertained by the mobile and mirror. The music that it plays is okay, nothing special. The motor is noisy when it first gets going, then it's quiet. It was very easy to assemble. The only thing I don't like is that there is no AC Adapter, so you have to use batteries. That being said, I used this swing daily for 5 weeks before having to replace the batteries.

My son was a little colicy from the beginning. He wouldn't sleep unless he was in someone arms. So the suggestion of sleep when the baby sleep wasn't working. Mommy really needed sleep. We finally tried swaddling and the swing and my son finally took a nap from 1-3 hours during the day. There were nights that we could put him in the swing and he would rarely cry even though he stayed awake for 5-20 minutes. At 5 mths we are still using it during the day for naps. With his first cold it is great to have something for him a little vertical so his sinus can drain. I am worried about how we are going to get him to take day naps when he outgrows the swing. The swing helped him fall back asleep during the "light baby" sleep. The negative is the swing makes too much noise for me to sleep in the same room and the white fabric doesn't stay white. No part of the fabric can be removed for cleaning. Overall this and a front carrier were the two life saver baby products we used. I had wanted to use a co-sleeper, but it would not have worked with my son. He would have probably outgrown a co-sleeper by the time he fell/ stay alseep without motion during the night. Good luck

This swing is just okay. My 5 week old infant does seem to like it all because of the way the seat sits. The swing is VERY loud, it moves really fast even on the slowest setting, (which almost seems to make my baby sick) and it's kind of hard to wash. I've had to wash it a couple times because my baby has had some "blow outs" outside his diaper and it was a pain to take apart and wash. Plus after washing it gently, it doesn't look all that great.

This swing was really easy to move around the house and it really kept our baby comfortable and entertained. We started to use this swing right after we brought our newborn home and continue to use it today (3 months later). It's a life saver once you're tired of carrying your baby and gives you a break. It helped our baby fall asleep and get cozy.

While the swing is very entertaining, soft and comfortable it is simply too loud. The motor mechanism is loudest on the slow speeds. While children love repetition, it was driving us nuts. The second drawback was the rate at which it ate through batteries. No way to go green with this swing! On a positive note, this swing was very easy to put together!

I bought this swing for my first born. He doesn't love it but during his first month it would help rock him to sleep. I love it, I think its cute and stylish enough to stay out in the living room or something but I think it is best used only for newborns. The seat part only stays in the one position and I'm sure (I'm not talking from experience since my son is now only 9 weeks old) but when he gets bigger he will want to sit up more and not recline so much. Like I said I love it but he isn't too fond of it, especially not anymore since he is getting taller and really doesn't like to be laying on his back much. I don't know if I would recommend it to someone to buy it brand new because it is pricey and I don't think it can be used for very long. So I would say that it is an awesome swing to be purchased used from someone or even shared between friends/family.

if you don't put the baby in it for 12 hours out of the day, the batteries do last a while. My baby is now 7 months old and we only changed the batteries 4 times.

My little guy loves this swing. He sleeps in it all night long! It's definitely one of the most useful things that we have for him thus far.
With that being said, like others have said - if it's not positioned correctly on the carpet it makes noise and rocks with every swing. You just have to then open the legs wider. It is also a little squeaky. Wish the swing came in w/ a plug in option!
I would buy this product again though!
