I have the older version of this swing and I couldnt have asked for anything better! My son loved this swing and spent a lot of time sleeping in it due to being colicy and having acid reflux. He loved moving side to side and the nature sounds along with the butterflies and bees moving around. I loved that it has the option to swing side to side or back and forth and I believe I we used the side to side option most of the time. It was extremely easy to put together and very sturdy. If you want to get a swing get one of the fisher price papasan ones there really is nothing better!

We bought this swing before our daughter was born and she's loved it from day 1..we have to! I don't have any complaints except the battery life isn't the best..ok, but not the best. However we found out real fast to get rechargeable batteries and then you never have to worry about a crying baby! (it takes 4 D's which can be pricey!)She's almost 8 months and still rocks away..sitting up swinging, but hey, she's strapped in and doesn't go anywhere! Hope this helps!!

We got this swing at a tremendous price [...]. It does make a clicking sound while swinging BUT our son loves the sound! It's basically like rhythmic white noise. Also, it's really not that loud or distracting to adults in the room.The songs and other noises that play are alright, but not great. You can adjust the volume which is wonderful. Our son loved this esp. during colicky days and he takes a lot of his naps in here if I don't want to put him in a separate room from me while he's sleeping.Our batteries lasted for 3.5 months before we changed them, and we used it at least 1-2 hours every day.

We use the sing Everyday. My daughter loves it, she wiggles right in to her comfy spot in it. It does not use alot of battery power I just changed the them after another 8 weeks. She has reflux, and this swing quiets her right down. I would recomend it to anyone it does not get any better then this swing. The legs sing in for eady to move or store. She loves the mirror on it she stares at her self smiling and laughing.

First I want to say we love the swing but it does have a few things I would change. Im not sure if anyone else's mobile does this but it gets stuck on the bar after a few minutes. I have to keep coming back and moving the one little animal. Also I should have thought about the battery life. Its not that big a deal but it would have been easier to just plug it in instead of changing the batteries. Other then that the swing is great!!! My son loves to watch the mobile and falls asleep within minutes. Its pretty quiet and mine doesnt lift off the ground unless you dont have the legs in the right position.

I purchased this swing at a yard sale when I was pregnant with my second child. It was in good shape for being used, and I couldn't afford to buy it new so I was pleased. My daughter was a small baby (5 Lbs.) and it did swing too fast, but I found if I draped a small blanket on the back bar of the swing it slowed it down until she was bigger. The problems I did find was that it did tilt to the side as my daughter got bigger and if she leaned to one side she would kind of hang out and the mobile did make a clicking sound, but again I bought it used.It does take up a lot of space, but I didn't mind that. I plan to buy a new cradle swing for my 3rd child I am expecting, but overall, this swing was good.

LOVE this swing. We purchased it in 2007 when our first child was born and are now using it for baby #2. Both of my kids were diagnosed with reflux and this swing was a lifesaver. I love the way they sit in the cradle design - I can't believe anyone would buy another type of swing! This one is great for newborns and grow with baby as they get older. We used our swing for 6+ months with our first child and hope to do the same this time! And it doesn't use up batteries that badly - we use the swing multiple times a day (at least 3!) and we're changing the batteries for the first time after 7 weeks.
Great for infants!

This swing is such a great product for our son. He loves the mobile and talking to himself in the mirror. He talks and plays until the music and mobile stop and then he quietly goes to sleep. I would suggest this to all parents!
I don't find that the swing eats batteries at all...in fact I hadn't changed them until he was 11 weeks old and we use it at least twice daily.

My son is not happy in any other swing...this one cradles him and he was about 2 months old when he noticed himself in the mirror above and it was so sweet to watch him. The mobile above plays music and has birds that spin around and can be a great distraction for a fussy baby. Make sure that you have the legs open as wide as they can to prevent the swing from raising while in swinging action. When comparing other swings you cannot beat the price of this one. Be sure to check online for coupons and promotional codes to save a little money.

I wanted to review this product after reading the other reviews. I have had this swing for seven months, my son is now pretty much out of it...but for the first three borderline colicky months, this swing was a life saver. Durable and safe. I think all babies love the papasan seat design. It did click after extensive use, but so did all my friends swings (different brands too), but the sound never bothered our little one. I wouldn't bring a baby home from the hospital without this swing, though after reading the other reviews, I would make sure it is put together correctly, and if it makes any noises right away take it back and try again. :)

I bought this swing when my son was about two months old and he loved it! Its very comfortable for him and he always stays quiet when i put him in it, it even helps him to calm down when he is crying hysterically!! its a pretty color.
The cons on this swing is it does make a clicking noise but my son is not bothered by it so it wasn't a big deal for me! another con is it swings pretty fast especially for a younger baby!the bar on the swing is a little annoying because the whole thing comes off instead of just one side i often have to look for it if i don't put it back on right away! yes the battery finished fast but i cant think of one baby item that doesn't eat batteries!! its a swing with music and a mobile what do u expect! if u do your research before purchasing an item you wont be disapointed or u would know what to expect! one more thing if you have a small apartment or small space/room this is not the swing for you. it takes up a lot of space because of how the legs are made.
overall i am very happy with this swing because even tho in my review the cons outweighs the pros my son is now almost 7 months and still enjoys the swing!!

the swing would rock from side to side and the feet would actually come of the ground! The swing seat tilted and at times she would actually hang out of the seat. then one day I was putting her into the seat and strapping her in the seat actually detached and flipped throwing the baby headfirst onto the floor.

My son really loves this swing.This swing is a life saver it always calms him down thats his favorite place to be.Its alittle big and I take his with me almost all the time I go to vist family and its alittle diffcult not really a travel swing but its worth it my son is in love with it so i love it. The swing was incredibly easy to put together - provided the instructions are used. The cover for the swing is very secure and provides great cushioning and positioning for our little girl's head.
The only downside (and this is for every swing we've had) is how quickly it goes through batteries.

We bought this swing for my son when he was 2 1/2 months old. He loves it! When he is fussy, the motion will calm him down and he often naps in it during the day. This swing has been a godsend because it allows me to put him down to get things done around the house. We use it daily.
The swing has many options to it including six speeds (we always only use the slowest setting and it is plenty fast), four music/sound choices, and a moving mobile. My son hasn't shown much interest in the music or mobile yet though.
The swing is battery operated (4-D's) which may be a down side. We've had the swing about three weeks and the batteries are still going strong so I'm not sure yet how long a set will last.
I would definitely purchase this product again and/or recommend it to a friend. It has been a great product for the price!
