Tried it out and ended up returning it for the Safe Fit Day and Night Musical Mirror. It was cute but could never get a good view of the whole baby. The music was nice but needs a remote so you don't have to listen to the whole 25-60 minute music cycle. The toys hanging from it are nice if you don't want to use your own carseat toys, but becomes too much if you use both.

Love that you can set the time it plays! This keeps my son entertained during fussy periods of long car rides. It is a little annoying for the parents, but way less annoying then a screaming baby!

This is a very cute mirror. We were excited to receive it as a shower gift. It fits pretty well in my SUV, but we did have to make some adjustments. We rolled some towels and put them between the mirror and the seat to get the correct angle on the mirror. Without the towels, we would be looking at the ceiling or the mirror would slide all around. I would recommend this to a friend, but she would need to realize that she may need to tweak it a bit. I'm only giving it 3 stars since we did need to make our own adjustments to make it work.

Baby isn't here yet, but I'm sure she will love it. I'm sure we will be using it for a long time, since the new recommendation is to have children rear-facing until age 2.

Put this in the car to be able to see what my rear facing infant is doing, she makes many noises some of which are hard to tell if she is just coughing or spitting up. This item helps me keep an eye on her. My daugher was mesmerized by the animals dangling from the top. Great purchase!!

I have not had my son yet, but I had this item on my registry and I was so excited to get it. However, once I opened it and put batteries in, I noticed there is no volume control, the shortest time you can set it for is 20 minutes, and it I found the music to be irritating. [...]. It did seem to be well built and stable. The mirror was clear, and it was really cute, just couldn't take the music.

My daughter LOVES this mirror. I bought it when she was 4 months old and she is now 16 months old and still uses it!!! I am buying a second one for my newborn daughter. Totally entertains her!

I was so excited to get this, I love the whole Precious Planet collection and we paid a lot for it but I really liked the music feature and the cute animals. When I got it home, there were no directions in the box. I am not sure if that was just my box or if the product really came with no directions(I would hope not). So instead of trekking back to BRU I tried to install it myself. I have an SUV and I prefer the car seat to be in the middle, where there is no headrest. I finally thought I had it figured out when I proped the velcro to the roof of the car to get it to stay. It stayed for a while and then I stopped short (something that is unavoidable in the city) and it fell down and hit the baby! Needless to say I don't use it anymore but am so disappointed because the baby really liked to look at it.

My husband and I love this mirror. Its big enough to see our son without having to adjust the rearview mirror. Our son is entertained by the dangling animals bouncing down the road. Installation was super easy!

The only complaint we have is the that there was no remote to shut off the music. Our son usually falls asleep pretty quickly and then we are forced to listen to the same three songs for the remainder of the 20 minutes. I couldn't imagine setting it for 60 minutes!

This mirror definitely keeps her entertained, but I do have two complaints. First, there isn't a volume adjuster and the music is kind of loud. Second, you can only turn it on for time increments of 20, 40, and 60 minutes. So unless you climb back in the seat and turn it off, the least amount of time it will be on is 20 minutes - which is a pain when you know your little one is going to pass out within 5 minutes.

The mirror is cute with the animals, but the music is very loud and can be annoying. Plus my husband and I feel like the same two or three songs play over and over again. I would recommend getting one with a remote so you can turn off the music once the baby falls asleep.

My son just loves staring at the animals attached...The mirrior is nice and big which is a plus.. The only problem i had was trying to get it to stop moving.. I have to fix the mirror alot, it just diddent stay still, it would flop all over the place, so i had to attached the velcrow strap to the roof so it would stop wiggeling.. Now it dont move, be looks a little weard but it works..

This mirror is adorable. The hanging animals fascinate my daughter and the music will instantly sooth her fussy moments. I do like that it plays for up to 60 minutes at a time, we are about to brave our first long distance drive since her birth, and I am counting on this mirror!

I have a headrest in the middle of my backseat, but it doesn't raise. This is meant for one that either raises or isn't there. If I attach this as directed, it almost touches the ceiling and I can't see out the back window. Almost the whole mirror goes above the headrest, no matter how you install it. I need one, and prefer one, that attaches around the headrest, not on top of it. Just not safe for driving this way. If you don't have a middle headrest and can connect it the way they instruct, it might work better.

A good product! Kept my son entertained while he's on his car seat. The wide angled mirror gives a clear view of my baby who is in a rear facing position. May cost a bit more compared to other brands but it's worth the money. Had this item for about 6 months and still haven't changed the batteries. Uses this item about 5-8 hours a week.

My daughter loves this mirror! The music is rather loud, but I don't find it annoying. I do find the first song annoying because I can't remember what song it is! I can sing along to all of them except that one! lol! But, yeah, my seats are leather and the thing had to be tightened on there pretty well or it'd slide around, but I got it and she loves it!

As cute as this mirror is, it just doesn't fit my car. We are being told to put the rear facing infant car seat in the back center position for safety, but there isn't a headrest in that location in my car to mount this mirror. The way it mounts on a bench seat is very unstable and it will fall on Baby.

I use the mirror in my car to see my baby girl. It is large and I can see a good portion of her in her seat. It's colorful and the animals are fun. I like that there is a timer for the music although I haven't used it yet.

We have it mounted on just the seat w/o the headrest and it can be unstable, falling over while I drive as there is no strap that goes down the front to stabilize it. It just seems to "rest" on the seatback. I will likely put the center headrest back in and see if that improves the stability.

I love that you can choose 20,40 or 60 minutes of music. My 2 month old loves to look at the mirror and toys hanging and the music always puts him to sleep.
