I registered for this and found that it was highly rated by a consumer search. It definitely serves it's purpose. My 3 month old son has been using it since he was only a few weeks old and is mesmorized by the animals hanging. He's now started to swat at them and sometimes gets frustrated when they're not playing music so we manually have to do that. One of the best things too, it takes only ONE 'D' battery and not 6 or 7 like some.

At first I didn't like the bouncer because it didn't play music continuously but as she grew, it was a positive thing. She is 3 months old and now grabs the toy to play it. As for the moms saying the bounciness wont respond to their newborns--there isn't a bouncy seat out there that will bounce to a 3 week old infant, thats why their is a vibration button. I have never had a problem with the function of mine either. The only drawback I can say is that one of the sounds it makes is a lion roaring and it is very light so when you pull the lion, once there is a noise that really cant be heard, but other than that, its great!

My 7 week old daughter loves this bouncer. She hangs out in it all morning, playing, napping and just looking around the room. She likes the vibrations. She loves to stare at the toys and is already trying to grab them. She loves to hear the rattles in two of the toys and the music the lion plays. It would be nice if the music played longer though.

As a seat, it's functional to hold the baby. But I find two things disappointing. One of the three toys (the lion) plays music when you pull it, but it only plays it every 3 pulls. The 2nd one makes an inaudible sound that I have no idea what it is and the 3rd pull gives a low sounding meow, which makes no sense coming out of a lion. We hate having to pull the toy 3 times to get the music.

Also, our son is currently only 3 weeks old. The bounciness in the seat is not sensitive enough to react to his movements. We have to manually make the seat bounce to calm him down. At this age, I think he would have enjoyed a rocker or swing better.

When she was a newborn, the bouncer was a great place for my daughter to nap. Now, she loves playing with the toys and banging them against each other. Personally, I think the songs are a bit annoying, but whatever makes her happy is okay with me. The fact that it's so colorful is great too. She has another off-white bouncer with very little color that she cries in every time we put her in it, probably from boredom.

This bouncer is almost perfect. I use it everyday with my 4-month-old baby since she was around 1 month. It is very cute and my daughter loves it. It is good for naps (the vibrations are great) and when I have to take her with me around the house. She likes to see what I am doing, so the bouncer is a great helper. She started playing with the toy bar only a couple weeks ago, but she gets a little angry at the toys after a while. I think she wants to put them in her mouth, but can't.
My complain is about the giraffe's mane. It does look cute, but if my daughter turns her head to the right, the mane gets into her eyes. My husband want to cut it with a scissor, but I am trying to figure some other solution. For my nephew I bought another bouncer, just because of the mane.

My daughter has loved hanging out in this bouncer since the day we brought her home! She refused to sleep in her bassinet so this was a lifesaver! The vibrations soothe her right to sleep and since 3 weeks old shes been sleeping 8-10 hours at night! She's now 2 1/2 months old and is starting to play/watch/listen to the toy bar. GREAT PRODUCT

my son is four months old and he has loved this bouncer from the beginning. i first put him in it when he was about 3 weeks old and he has always enjoyed it. now he can pull the toys and shake them, he gets excited and kicks as he bounces!! the only thing that i don't like about this bouncer is that the sound is very low. other than that, it is a little expensive for the features but totally worth it when i see the smile on my sons face. he really enjoys the animals and loves the precious planet collection. i was afraid that this bouncer would be boring but he really enjoys it!

My baby lived in this bouncer for the frist 3 months of his life. He would not sleep in his bassinet, only this bouncy. So it was a life saver for us. He's 5 months now and still loves it. We have used this baby item more than anything else we got. I will probably buy the same one for our next baby and keep one upstairs and downstairs because we use it so much. Love the Precious Planet products. Love that they are unisex.

This bouncer was great. My baby girl used it pretty much from the first week until she was 7 months and could sit up in it and lean over and try to get out. We got a lot more use out of this than our swing. It is easy to carry from room to room and the toys really kept her entertained for a few minutes. A friend of mine got a different bouncer (one that didn't have colorful toys) and her baby hated it but loved this one when she came to my house.

I got this for a shower gift and my daughter LOVES IT. I feel she prefers this over her crib anyday. I would so buy this again and would recommend to any new moms. Well worth it!!!

As a newborn my daughter spent entire nights in the bouncy. For that purpose though, the bouncy was same as any bouncy. It wasn't until recently that I've found it's a great bouncy!! Over the last couple of months she wasn't particularly interested in spending much time in it (or at least wasn't content in it for long periods) but now that she can grab onto the rings she loves it!! Knowing she can entertain herself for awhile makes preparing dinner a lot easier. The bouncy I had for my son had toys hanging from the bar but did not have rings on the bottom for the baby to grasp. What I love about this bouncy is she can really get a good hold of the rings. It is also easy to clean. Sometimes it's hard to slip the material over the battery place when I need to wash it but I've figured out some tricks to make getting it off easier.

This bouncer is a life saver! I'm a 16 year old momma to a 2 month old baby boy. Paxton loves his giraffe bouncer! It's great because it keeps him entertained while I get homework and other things done. When I turn on the vibrations he falls right to sleep! It's Awesome :D I also think the patteran is really cute. I don't know what I'm going to do when he grows out of it :(

This product is wonderful! At 6 months my son has almost outgrown the chair, but we have well gotten our money's worth! The vibration is soothing, the toy bar fun, engaging, and educational, and you can use your foot to bounce the chair too! Set-up is easy and I have removed the cover to wash several times and it still looks like new. I wish I had a chair like this too!

My baby has enjoyed this bouncer since she was 4 weeks old. She is now 14 weeks old and is still interested. At first she only looked at the little animals, now she coos and enjoys grabbing them. I would definitely buy this!

I registered for this bouncer so I would have one to keep w/my parents house and of the 3 that my baby has at different places this is by far his favorite. He absolutely loves it and is always happy being in it! The only issue I have w/it is that I wish the music would play for longer because my son loved listening to it and before he learned how to pull the lion to start the music himself we were constantly having to pull it for him.

My son loves his bouncy seat. He is 5 months old and still uses it every day. When he was first born his reflux was so bad that he would sleep in this next to my bed so that his head could be elevated... it was a lifsaver. He still naps in it and loves the toys now that he can reach them!

My almost 4month old, loves this!She plays with it for quite awhile.I am not sure though, how long she'll be able to use it because she's getting long.I think it's worth the money though.
