My granddaughter likes this swing better than the expensive ones. She is more comfortable in it because there are no hard plastic pieces behind her back. I like that the colors are bright and the toys hang closer to her than the other swings.
Ok for older baby, not good for newborn

We got this product because it was cheaper than a "full size" swing. Unfortunately, the swinging motion on this product is so powerful if your baby is under 15lbs. or so it will swing way to fast. I had to end up placing a towel under my son's bum then stretching it out so it would drag on the floor. Now that he is bigger it works well, but we don't use it very often because we wound up buying a full size swing, which works way better (we gave this swing to the grandparents for when they watch him). If I were to do it over again, I would have never bought this product.

I bought this swing for my son, I have had travel swings before and love them. This one was great except for the fact that you had to replace the batteries all the time. I probably have spent the same amount of money on the swing as I did in batteries. The swing worked great UNTIL IT BROKE WITH MY SON IN IT SWINGING. It came right off the handle and sent him to the ground. Fisher price has been very nice to me and assured that this had not happened before. My son was only 6 months and 15 pounds and the weight limit is 25 pounds. Just a buyer beware!

I live overseas and don't have a huge selection of swings to choose from, so I unfortunately ignored the other reviews and purchased this. The swing goes too fast for small babies, and the "variable" speeds are pretty much all the same... too fast! The toys on the toybar are not reachable by any child who would fit in this swing. Also, the swing says it is suitable from birth... it isn't... The seat allows the babies to sink into it, and is not reclined enough to help support the baby's head, even with a carseat head support inserted.

My baby just love it. She sleeps on it. The print is colorful and it is light weight and stable. I wish it would have been electrical so that we dont have to buy batteries.

I like the swing, it is easy to take with me to different family houses so that they have something to set my son in. My son also loves swinging in it but I keep it on the lowest b/c anything higher seems to fast (at least for a 2 month old). My son loves watching the toys but I do wish that they were a bit lower. I also wish the music lasted longer, I feel like once I get into a groove of doing something I have to stop to reset the music, I also wish that there was a way to turn the music back on without having to turn the swing off & then back on. Overall for the price I really like it.

I've read the comments & as for the speed & music,hey,as long as it plays music & swings with out throwin my child out of the swing i dont think it matters what speeds it has or what music it plays! I've tried TWO big somewhat expensive swings & a bouncer that vibrates & rocks & he wouldn't stay in them at all he hated them then i bought this 1 and he loves it he sits in it for hours & he is only 3 mths.I personally like that it sinks in a little that ensures he wont fall out & it must be comfortable because he falls asleep in it too.I also like that it doesnt shut off after so many min. .The removable toy bar is awsome & easy access for getting my child in and out.The fact that its small & folds up makes it convenient for moving it from the den to my daughters play room with no hastle.So if u ask me i think its great no bumping heads on toy bars & he loves it so much that it gives me plenty time to tend to the needs of my 3 year old(without running aroung like a chicken with its head cut off)& along with infants 3yr olds have alot of needs too. So I Love it.(the toys could be soft but oh well he cant reach them anyway) Satisified buyer.

The swing is a great value for the price. Easy and quick assemblyand doesn't eat the batteries. The material is soft and she does sink into the swing a bit but it's just comfy for her! The speeds do seem to be the same no matter what setting it's on but my girl doesn't seem to mind that either. My daughter loves this swing

I'm not sure if other people didn't put this product together properly or what but IMO it is made very well and very sturdy. I am very very adamant about quality and checking reviews and after seeing this setup at another store I loved it. My son is 12 weeks old and he loves it too. The music is cute and not too annoying and does shut off after a bit which is fine, it takes 2 seconds to restart it with the music. Our swing has different speeds and it is def. noticeable. The toy bar is easily removed. We have a small home and no room for the fullsize swings and it has held up to daily use for 3+ weeks now with no problem at all. My 10 yr old son can carry it to the car when it is folded with no problem. We take it everywhere when visiting and it is a lifesaver! The batterys lasted a month using it everyday, compared to other products we have thats pretty decent IMO. It swings perfectly without any extra noises and performs to my expectations. The safety buckle is very easy to click in and undo. We've already had to adjust the straps as my son grew and it was very easy to do. The fabric is very soft and breathes well, in texas were hitting 104 right now so thats important to me. My son isnt all sweaty after sitting in it he is comfortable and cool.
