So my daughter hates EVERYTHING, lol but she LOVES this! She relaxes and plays and is so good for me when she's in this!
The batteries don't run out quick if you use good ones. The colors are great and the waterfall keeps baby's attention.
We are planning on having another baby in a couple of years and this is one of the items we will be storing for the next baby :)
Don't listen to the other bad reviews. It's expensive but worth it!

My son LOVES this chair. I love the different features of it. It can play animal sounds or music, and it entertains my 8 wk old to no end. The glowing waterfalls, the monkey that swings side to side and the jumping frong are so much fun for him to look at. He will point at the animals and just talk and talk (or coo and coo.) He dances to the music, and falls asleep. He just thinks it's the coolest thing. The only bad thing is that it goes through 4 D batteries very quickly, and that's a pain.

My mom got this per my request and so far my little one likes it. He is 7 weeks and has been using it since birth. It reclines enough to be safe but leans forward enough so he feels like he's sitting up (which he demands). The only two things I'm not a huge fan of is there is this bird that sits at the top of the attachment on a rigid spring that doesn't really move. What's the point? If it's not supposed to move why put it on a spring? The other thing is the entire getup runs on D batteries and runs down very quickly if you use both the vibration and the entertainment actions. If your child likes it as much as mine, you're gonna run through a bit of batteries.

I love this bouncer! I originally registered for the Fisher Price Hoppy Days but found that the vibration was not strong at all and it was so boring. The toys for the baby to look at did nothing except play like a 10 second little jingle that worked only by pulling it. When my son started paying attention to bright, exciting objects that is when I purchased this one and sent the Hoppy Days bouncer to my moms. It will keep him entertained long enough for me to wash bottles, put on make-up, fold laundry and do so many other things. The only thing I don't really like about it is that the activity arch is sort of close to his face. The seat should be reclined back a little bit more. Other than that I looove this!!!

When my 2yr old son was younger he loved this bouncer.It was the only thing that could get him to sleep,he was always in it if i wasnt feeding him or changing him he wanted to be in this.an it had to have the vibrations an the lights on as well,so we went through ALOT an i mean ALOT of batteries.An now that im expecting my second in a lil over 2wks im getting it out an ready an hes trying to play in it even though he has his toddler bouncer/vibrating seat. i guess he wants his old one back.lol.
i think its really worth the money.

My son is 20 days old and currently he only uses the bouncy seat for naps or just to sit in the chair with and without vibrations so he can look around. I took off the toy bar as he doesn't pay it any attention just yet, but I'm hoping he will soon take notice of it. Hopefully he will find it more entertaining than he does now, though it seems kind of boring to me. We will just have to wait and see. No problems with any of the functions or construction, though the batteries don't last very long.

This is not the exact one we had but it's close. The activity bar is a giant plastic piece which makes getting baby in/out difficult. You can remove it but that's a pain if you're just trying to pick her up for a minute and put her back. Get one with a softer bar (we got Fisher Price Calming Vibrations with the frog - I'm sure they've changes styles now though)that baby can duck under or over easily when you're picking her up.

Baby girl did not start enjoying this until she was 7 weeks old (~11 pounds). She still doesn't like the vibration on, but will stay in bouncer four 30mins with the music on. I usually place her in bouncer after she eats (no vibration) so thar she doesn't spit up or while I'm eating breakfast or lunch. Item is a must have. Only issue is the frog gets stuck.

This bouncer is just perfet. I bought it for my newborn and she would sleep in it at night. Now she is 2 months and she loves the toys. She is facinated by the waterfall and plays with the animals. Even without the toy part she loves to sit in it. She is comfortable in it. I don't put her to sleep in it anymore but during the daytime she is in it most of the time. She loves it.

My baby loves this bouncy chair! We started using it when he was about 4 weeks old without the toy bar. By 7 weeks old we added the toy bar and he loves the swinging monkey! He just stares and yells at that little monkey moving side to side. It has been so neat to watch him as he learns to move the toys to activate the music when it stops! Best purchase ever!

I own the whole rainforest set and love it. The bouncy chair was bought for me because I wanted something that would entertain my son as well as calm him down. My son is three months and we just now had to replace the batteries. They probably would have lasted longer if I did not forget to turn the vibration off. The issue I have is sometimes the lights to the waterfall will flicker. It seems to happen when I turn the switch on really fast. Other then that it is awsome. If you are thinking about getting the set I recommend the swing It can be plugged in the wall or battery operated.

As a first time parent I had NO clue how to choose a bouncer seat or if I really even needed one but after reading hours of reviews I though hey this may come in handy so I registered for it.

When my son arrived we put him in this the first week he was alive (I had to take a shower and my husband went back to work). This seat worked like a charm (my son freaked out with the lights and movement action-who wouldn't I guess it's a LOT of stimulation).

The nice thing is you can take off the light/action bar, it's a nice cushy bouncy chair (my son was under 6 lbs when we brought him home and he fit just fine including being strapped in. easy to assemble (don't foget to buy the batteries-we did)

My son is now 3 months old..he still LOVES this chair and even falls asleep in it if I let him. We still don't have the light bar attached. I'll wait till he's a bit older and can handle all that stimulation.

This is a god send when he wakes up in the early AM feedings and isn't ready to be put down (although I am ready to go back to sleep-smile), when I shower or when we're just hanging out. I'd buy this again and again!

Also works well when he's fussy and is fighting being carried.

I wanted to use the Rainforest theme even though the items were becoming harder to find because the Precious Planet series was introduced. The bouncy seat was the first thing I purchased. I have definitely gotten my money's worth on this item! My son has loved sitting in this since he was born and now at 14 months, he uses it as a lounge chair while watching a cartoon. I have never had any problems with it. I used it a lot, and didn't have to change batteries for about five to six months. I would recommend this to another mother.

I started using this seat with my daughter when she was just a few weeks old. She loved it! At first she just slept in it, and I didn't bother with the toy bar, but as she got older she loved the music, sounds, and toys. I started feeding her solid food at 4 months, and I used this seat instead of the high chair, because she couldn't sit up yet. It worked great! I have the matching baby gym and jumperoo. I can't wait to use them all again for our second baby. :)

I've purchased and returned 2 of these. Both had the same electrical malfunction immediately, straight out of the box. The lights flicker very fast, like a strobe light & the same 5 second clip of music plays repeatedly like a broken record. There's a short in the circuit.

My son loved this bouncer. The lights & water fall will keep your bundle of joy entertained. He specifically loved the little animals on the bouncer. Every time he would kick the animals would move & he would get delighted from this. Only downside is the batteries wish this product was electrical because he went through batteries like crazy.

We bounced her every night and at every nap time for the first 2 months, then the swing was the only thing that worked, but we still use it for play time and a place to put her while we eat dinner, shower, fold laundry, etc.....

After reading the reviews, I decided to buy this product. However, my 4 month old daughter hated it! She kept sliding to the left and right; I was afraid she was going to fall out of it...even with the harness/belt on. It should have more of a cushion along the sides for safety/support! Maybe if I had used this item when my baby was younger, I would have more positive reviews!Ex. 0-3 months! Another negative, you can't use this once your baby starts sitting up! Also, I found the fasteners in the back to be very wobbly!

My best friend gave me this bouncer and my baby loves it! The waterfall is so vibrant and the music keeps his attention. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that it sucks up battery life quick. My fiance bought batteries and they lasted for less than a month, the chair would still vibrate after a month but the rainfall light would flicker on and off and wasn't bright at all. Once I replaced the batteries back to perfect.

This is quite possibly one of the best baby items I have received! The design on the fabric is cute and the frame is sturdy but not bulky. The play bar detaches easily. This is the only place I can put my newborn down where he will stay calm for hours. Even without batteries he seems happy. Sometimes I'll use my foot to bounce it, but once he falls asleep, he stays asleep. I only just put the batteries in (seems like a lot of batteries for such a small contraption) and he also likes the vibrating. This is one baby product that I could not live without!

Didn't think I needed a bouncer until I was at a friends house and put him in a similar Fisher Price Model. Keeps him entertained for at least 30 minutes. When he gets fussy, I simply remove the toy bar, turn on the vibration and he's content and calm for much longer or dozes off for a nap.

Because of this product I have finally been able to take a shower, cook dinner, etc. He never gets bored in it.

This product came recommended and it is fabulous because the baby can bounce the seat themselves by kicking. Not all "bouncers" will do that. When my daughter was younger, it was a lifesaver to have in the bathroom when I needed a shower or when I was pumping. She would also nap in it (she won't nap in her crib). It was truly a lifesaver! Now she is almost 5 months and gets bored with it but that is okay....cuz we have moved on the the Fischer Price Rain Forest play mat which is hours of entertainment!

When I first got the bouncy I LOVED it! I loved that the chair vibrated and that there were lights, music, and moving parts for when my daughter was older. I bought the bouncer in March right before my daughter arrived and it stopped working in May! The chair still vibrates and there is music BUT the lights, waterfall movement, and the moving parts no longer work! Now that my daughter can finally focus on things like lights and moving parts the bouncer doesn't work. :( [...]. I guess I'll try to contact fisher price and see if they'll send a new toy bar.

i really enjoy this bouncer. i like that its light weight and easy to assemble. i also like how you can take the toy part off and the multiple songs... the only thing is the batteries are D and it requires 4 so we have changed the batteries a few times but apart from that we have been happy.

This product is wonderful, I didnt really expect the bouncer to have so much on it. The colors are vibrant and can hold any infants attention. My daughter loves it but is so spoiled that she may sit in it for 15-20 minutes. Its easy to carry around when I have things to do around the house.

I had problems with this bouncer from the very beginning. [...]the lights didn't work properly and the vibration was very loud. We exchanged it yet again. Same thing happened. Finally, I contacted Fisher-Price and they sent me a replacement motor. That seemed to work well at first, then stopped, despite replacing the batteries more than once. We ended up throwing it away and getting something totally different, with which we had no further problems.

My 3 month old loves this bouncer. She will stay in it for up to an hour "talking" to the monkey and watching the lights. We have this one at grandma's and the ocean wonder one at our house. I think she likes this one better, but it may be because she does not use it everyday. Highly recommend especially if you have a high maintenance baby who likes to watch things and be entertained.

Lightweight, so we can move it from room to room with ease. Our baby girl loves this chair, with or without the handle. It's good for keeping her calm or simply allowing her to fall asleep.

My warning to anyone looking to buy it...watch out for your toes. This chair has front legs that stick out wider than the width of the chair itself. My and I have clipped our toes against this chair a handful of times each when we've walked by it while it was on the floor.

The activity bar has never worked - the waterfall lights flicker off/on, the music doesn't work, nothing will work while the chair is vibrating. Bottome line - would not suggest this product. I was very surprised to see the price of this - since it was given as a gift. From the performance I would have guessed this to be a low end product.

We received this bouncer as a baby shower gift, that I had registered for. I'm so glad I did my research. I wanted something I knew I could rely on and Fisher Price didn't disappoint. Easy to assemble and easy to clean this has been one of my sons favorite things. When he got too old to just hang out in his Boppy pillow this bouncer allowed Daddy and I to have our own time.

When we're tired of holding him or we need to get things done around the house this item has been a big help. He loves the lights and sounds. He just stares at the waterfall entranced! And let's not forget that vibrating feature!! I can't tell you how many times my little man has fallen asleep thanks to that vibrating feature. It's so soothing.

This bouncer is excellent! The bouncer is sturdy and very safe for baby. The lights and music are wonderful and very entertaining for my baby. This bouncer is the only way I was able to shower for the entire first month of my baby's life--- just put the bouncer on the floor of the bathroom and I could still keep an eye on my baby and shower at the same time. The theme is gender neutral so we plan to use this bouncer for all of our children. I would recommend this bouncer to all!

When my son was a NB, i would put him in it. he hated the vibrations but however he loved watching the waterfall and moving animals right in front of him. i put it in the attic after i thought he had out grown it but when i brought it back down to let a friend loan, i had to tell her never mind bc he decided at 18 months old this was going to be his favorite toy to play with. it had excellent support bc he would sit inside of it for atleast 30 mins at a time. i was sure hed brake it at first bc the bottom would sort of bend. but once he got out it popped back up to its normal shape every time. i would deffinitly reccomend this, i know i wouldnt use anything else!!

My son enjoys this even after the batteries have run out. My 20 month year old nephew even likes playing with the toy bar (which is a little bulky). I have tripped on the legs a bit, but I am clumsy. haha The vibration was great in the first couple of months and now my son enjoys playing. His legs are starting to be towards the edge now though.

I really like the look and how your able to bounce your baby with your foot while you folding laundry or whatever. But the metal frame bars that stick out in the front are HORRIBLE!! Every time anyone myself, my mother, my husband, or my four year old walks by the thing we all catch our toes and almost fall to the ground. My husband broke his toe, and I have almost falling with my new born in my arms a few times because those bars hangout so far.

I had a bigger baby and this bouncer has been the perfect size for him. He practically lived in it the first 3 months because he loved it so much. He also had some reflux and this chair was the only thing that would really calm him down. Now that's he's 4 months he is really appreciating the toys and waterfall much more. He loves grabbing the monkey. I really recommend this one -it's been the most useful item out of almost all of his other baby gear!

My baby would never go down for a minute.. this bouncer is a life saver. I got this as a baby shower gift and I have used it from when my baby is 2 months...My baby is attracted by the blue parrot very much. She enjoys the light and sound thats gets on when she bouces or moves the toy.

We had a boring bouncy seat handed down and I thought all bouncies were equal but they are not. After trying a friends more exciting bouncy I went and purchased this one, through 2 babies now it has entertained for hours. I thought to write this as i retire it for 2nd baby as she can sit up now and was about to fling out of it. Its still like new. This is a fantastic bouncer. My four-month-old son has enjoyed it since he was two-months old. The lights and moving animals get and keep his attention. He loves swatting at the movable plastic animals, and the music is upbeat. He can entertain himself in the bouncer for 30 minutes (perfect for when mom needs to cook dinner or get ready). Obviously - never leave your child unattended, but the child is totally safe as he is strapped in.

My two boys didn't really care for this bouncer. My first son, Caleb, who was about 1-3 months at the time, kept crying whenever we would put him on it because the parrot and monkey were hanging too close to his legs. My second son, Lucas, used it a few times when he was 1-3 months as well. I don't think he liked it because the lighting and music scared him.

The overall look of this product is great but just needs a few tweeking to the product to make it more comfortable for baby.

We received this bouncer as a gift. Like other reviewers, we found that our son tried to root towards the fringe on the giraffe's neck at first, but we covered it with a burp cloth until he was about 2 months old. The toy bar was an annoyance at first because it doesn't swing away You have to pinch the release tabs on both sides to remove it and then there is nowhere to store it. But when my son reached about 3 1/2 months, he began to pay attention to it. We added a couple of link toys to the pulls and he started to activate the music (usually while trying to pull the ring into his mouth). I found that adding links to the toys weighted them down so that they didn't swing towards his face when he bounced too. I find the music far more pleasant than any of the other bouncers in the store with their cheap, tinny electronic sound. There are two songs, a "meow" sound and a purring sound that is almost too quiet to hear and reminds mom and dad of growling. I disagree with other reviewers who complain that only the middle animal makes noise. If they all did, it would be annoying to hear them playing all at once.

Now that my son is 17 lbs he bends the seat back so far it's practically horizontal, so I think we've maxed it out.

As a 1st time parent our son loved it and so did we. He would take his longest naps and sometimes it was a must to get through the night. However at 5 1/2 months and weighing in at 20 he was lifting up in it and with it's lightweight managed to flip it and land on our tile floor, seat belted in FLAT on his face. Scared us too death..all is ok but he needs the TODDLER one holds heavier weight and now a new expense.

This is the second one we got. First one stopped working (Sounds and music). It worked well for the first child, than it was in storage for 2.5 years and when we got it out of the box- it did not play music.
Overall we are very satisfied with the product.

This bouncer is the BEST! A family member had this for their child and I HAD to have it after seeing it. The lights and moving animals on the overhead are so enjoyable to my baby. I do have to say that I could not find this in any store, so I ordered it online. This bouncer is worth every penny!

This bouncer is good as a bouncer but designed rather strangely. The top portion with the music and lights does not come off easy. You have to bend the plastic snaps to get it off and one of the plastic sides broke off within the first week forcing me to buy a new one. Also, by the looks of the picture, it looks like your child will have plenty of head and leg room but the back of the bouncer is very long and high and the bottom portion for the legs is very short so even at three months, my son's feet were already dangling off of the bouncer.

The hanging toys off the music portion do not make any noises and are positioned very low, right near my son's thighs, making it very difficult for my son to notice them and he has to actually reach down to grab one of them. If it weren't for the continous music and lights play, I would have returned this bouncer long ago.
