I have always loved fisher-price products and when I seen this set I fell in love with it! I bought it for my baby girl and she absolutely loves it too! I really like the plug in outlet because batteries get expensive. So that is nice. My baby girl loves the bright colors, music and mobile. And it is very soft and comfortable. Everyone says its so cute WHen they come over my house and see it. Love the Rainforest set collection. I got the matching bouncer for my shower. Then I bought the swing and I can get enough of the print. So I'm getting the matching high chair and jumper when my baby girl gets older to be able to use it! Would recommend to anyone!

My daughter is 9 weeks old. For the first few weeks, she wanted nothing to do with the swing, but as she gets older, she is really starting to like it. She LOVES the upbeat music and the mobile. It's really nice that the swing can run on batteries or an AC adapter. This is my fourth child and fourth swing, and that's a feature that I have never seen in the past. My only complaint is that the music and mobile turn off on its own after a little while. I wish there was a way to turn off the timer. When it turns off, my daughter instantly starts crying.

For one of the less expensive swings it is great! My son loves it. Easy set up, nice and strong and swings great. The only downside is that I find that the swing speeds seem to be about the same. He loves the mobile that moves different ways, thedifferent songs that play and the sewinging when he gets oo heavy for me is a big help!

I'd had my son for about a month and started to notice that I wasn't able to leave him alone for too long while he was awake because he needed entertainment. I got this swing although many told me he was too young to pay attention and wouldn't like it. From day one he loved it! He watches the little animals swing around and all. It has a lot of songs and settings for young and older babies. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can now get work done while he is chilling in his swing... He's in it right now! :)

I bought this a few years ago when I was pregnant with my Son but he passed away before birth and so this swing was packed away to hopefully be used in the future. Four Years later before my daughter was born I took it out of storage, this storage unit was exposed to the elements but the swing still looked brand new and worked wonderfully. I did have to order a new adapter because I lost mine but fisher-price is very easy to order replacement parts from and inexpensive. My daughter is four months old and it still works great and we cant even put it on the highest setting yet because it will shake her to much. She sleeps in it longer than most things and the music and nature sounds calm her while not annoying me. Very worth the money!!

I received the swing today and put it together myself and I am 34 weeks pregnant. It took a lil time but I was able to do it. The swing seems very sturdy and durable. I love the colors of the padding. I turned it on and it is not loud at all. The mobile is also very cute. Ordered this swing online... after reading LOTS of reviews, and talking to a few friends who have had this swing before. The reviews and personal experience were promising! Having worked in several preschools and daycares, I knew what I wanted in a baby swing as well... This one LOOKED AWESOME! Site to Store was easy (as always with Walmart), and fast! Set up of the swing was a breeze and the swing worked right away! The only complaint I had at first was that the mobile part was loud... like the motor part. BUT, I figured... eh... no worries.

To keep it short, sweet and to the point... This swing is great, a must have for stay at home parents! I have a travel swing but after 6 weeks the motor hardly worked and my newborn, who loved it at first, cried everytime he sat in it. As a stay at home mom of two it was almost impossible to get anything done, my infant was always in my arms. He would take 20-30 min naps during the day and now sleeps 3-4 hrs at a time. My mother insisted we try a new swing & it literally CHANGED MY LIFE! I've had the swing for a month now & I can get things done around the house, I've even painted the interior of my house! Something that I would not have been able to do before. The motor is quiet compared to my travel swing, my son loves the music which is really soothing & it's nice to watch him fall asleep on his own. The swing changes positions which is a great option to have. I also love how the swing collapses with just the push of a button which is great since it is fairly wide. I've never taken time to write a review but this product was a life-changer & I just had to spread the word.

I got this as a baby shower present. It is perfect. My baby boy was born over 10 pds. He enjoys this swing. The features are awesome. It plays different types of sounds and music. It has many setting for the swing. The mobile is to die for. My baby is almost 5 months and he just stares and stares at it. The seat itself turns so the baby can swing side to side or front to back. I am however soon going to unscrew the tray. He is a big baby and loves to kick so to give him more room it will have to go. But it has screws so it will come right off. For smaller babies there shouldn't be a problem. I have had no motor problems what so ever. It does take a more room than some older types of swings so if you don't have space you need to make room or choose another swing. I would ompt for making room because you can't go wrong with this one!

I bought this product as a baby shower gift for my daughter. Little did we know that young Max would come screaming into this world 2 months early and would be home for the shower. Mom, Dad and Max all love this swing. It helps keep young Max from having to be walked around all the time. It actually allows dad to do some chores during the day when he is off work and watching him, and mom to do things in the evening when she is off work and watching him.

When we received this product the box had a hole in it and upon assembly it was found that a piece was broken. We returned it to our Walmart Store and received money back. We have reordered a new one and await to see if this one is intact.

I recieved this swing in 2008 from my mother-in-law for my son who was born february 2009. He loved it! He wouldn't sleep without the music on from the day he got home from the hospital. Now after two years I'm going to use the same one for my third child. It still works wonderfully and we haven't had any problems with it at all! My husband and father-in-law put it together before I got home from the hospital and they said it was easy to put together. I love it and always recomend to my friends!

This is our 2nd child and for some reason we decided not to get a rocking chair this round, which I instantly regretted during those late nights. My one month old LOVES this swing and that is such a blessing for me. Now I feed her and put her down for a swing that turns into a nap. It was a bit discouraging dumping it out of the box cause I didn't expect so many pieces, but it came together just fine. A helpful tip: When trying to get the motor on, push the button in the back to close the legs to get it on easier. I do wish that the lowest speed setting was a bit slower, but she has gotten used to the swing and sleeps through it. She doesn't pay much attention to the mobile yet, but may with age. I do think that in the future I will want this to sit up higher so she can see the television. All and all, I really in enjoy this product.

Bought this for our daughter to have for our first granddaughter. Our granddaughter likes it pretty well, but she is only 6-weeks old. The only downside is that it doesn't store efficiently. With the seat attached it takes a lot of space to transport or store. We like that it runs on a wall outlet. Have only used it in that mode. The lowest swing speed is fast enough for newborns. The value on-line was excellent with special pricing.

We had one instance when the swing was not swinging like it should, but used it the next day and it was working fine again!?! This swing is very cute and fairly easy to assemble. I love the features like the swing away mobile. My only complaints are with the mobile leaves. They do not open and close as much as I had thought they would. They just kind of flutter. Also, the mobile has kind of a grinding sound when it is on, but the music does cover this if you have it on. I also find the recline a little hard to work. Overall, I do love the swing. It has a great variety of songs and speeds. I really like than it can plug in the wall, too!

I love the swing and so does my son!! It plugs up to the wall and you don't have to worry about the batteries dieing!! But I noticed a few weeks after I purchased it that if I disconnect the power and take it to a family function elsewhere and plug it back in, it doesn't work. After a few days I called Fisher Price and she walked me through just unplugging it, unplug the 2 other places it connects then plug it all back in and it worked... but when I unplugged it from the wall the 2nd time it stopped working again! But I'm sure it might just be a defect in the one that I got, unfortunately. But I would recommend this to anyone who has a baby because it can swing the baby 2 different ways and plugs into the wall and plays music and has a mobile with leaves that open and close! LOVE IT!!!

We got this swing for my son when he was 2 months old. There were nights when nothing seemed to help him get to sleep--and when I put him in the swing, he would sleep in it all night. He is now 4 months old, and sleeps in his crib just fine, but during the day when he is fussy and nothing else seems to help, he loves to swing! The music is not as annoying as most other kids' items, and it lasts until you turn it off, which is great. I love that this swing plugs in, because we first had a portable swing that only used batteries. This got way too expensive for how much our little man liked to swing. I also love the fact that you can turn the swing so that the baby can swing side-to-side, or front-to-back. This swing takes up a fair amount of space, but fits nicely against the wall. We live in an apartment, where space is always an issue, and this fits just fine. I definitely recommend this swing!! My son loves it, and my husband and I love it even more (because it lets us get things done)!

I had to order this product twice. Reason is the first swing I had got did not swing my 10lb while he was in the swing when I took him out it seem to work fine. I reordered the swing and now it works fine makes a small clicking sound but other wise works great. We first purchased this when our first child was born. We had it about 6 months when it stopped working. So, we went and exchanged it for a new one.. about 6 months later the same thing happened. Just stopped working.. we used brand new batteries and plugged it in.. after going through 2 we decided that this swing wasnt very dependable. We bought the little lamb cradle swing and love it! We had a small bouncer, which we returned and purchased this swing for my new born when he was 3 weeks old. I should say this is way way better when compared to the $50 bouncer we had. My kid would sink into the bouncer making him feel uncomfortable. This swing is pretty stable and my child can sleep well with out disturbing us. I would strongly reccommend this product.
I paid $112 for this swing and only wish it was a little cheaper. But its defintily worth the money.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this swing! I LOOOVE that it has an ac adapter so you dont spend $20 a month on batteries! Definitely a HUGE selling point! It was pretty easy to set up - more difficult with a belly in the way, so I ended up having my husband do it. Not that a pregnant woman couldnt have done it, but it was easier for him. It squeezes right up so it fits in our little ones closest. I love that the swing swivels to give you two directions of swing. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the mobile on the top. Its REALLY COOL for someone else to look at but the baby kind of gets a bad view. Its just not great looking from beneath it. I do however love all the sounds it makes - the timer - and that the leaves on the mobile go up and down like they are closing and opening. All around its a great swing!

We purchased a travel swing and after a mortgage payments worth of batteries we wised up and purchased an AC plug swing. We saw many swings priced $30 - $50 higher than this and with all the features this has we couldn't figure out why. It took about 25 - 30 minutes to put together, a little extra time to just verify that it's safe to put my son in. In the end the only opinion that matters is his and he loves his swing!

We purchased this swing as a replacement for our Ocean Wonders Aquarium swing that we purchased with our first child in '05. So far, this swing is working out nicely for us. It was not difficult to set up; I did that with the help of my four year old. We LOVE that it can be plugged in and we are no longer going through batteries by the boxful. I can say that the seat is smaller then the older style of Fisher Price swings, which is a bit disappointing. The mobile being able to move out of the way makes loading and unloading baby very easy. The music settings are cute and there are two volume levels. At this point, our daughter is only 13 pounds, so we have only used the first two swing settings and they function fine. I think that all baby swings are a bit over prices, but we found the best price for this one on here and we are happy with our purchase.

I have infant triplets and they are all obsessed with this swing. They are 4 months old now and love the bright colored mobile and music. They will sit and "talk" to the animals the whole time they are in it. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
It did take longer to put together than I expected but it wasn't hard. You have to follow the instructions really closely - you can't just take it out of the box and figure it out yourself, like some products.
Overall, I love this swing - it is one of the best things we got for the babies.

My husband and I bought this swing since we got the jumparoo as a shower gift. We both love it! It was REALLY easy to put together too. I love the music that comes on it! You have a choice of rainforest noises or classic baby songs. The mobile rotates as the music plays which we like too! Hopefully our son Nash will find it as peaceful as we did while putting it together!! It was a great buy for the price as well. I love the bright colors and they are just as bright in person as they are on the computer! It seems to be pretty sturdy too. This is a bright, colorful swing that will give your baby a lot of visual stimulation. Love that it has an a/c adaptor too! We had a hard time choosing a swing but the a/c adapter is why we chose this one. Once it arrived and we put it together we were even more pleased. Unless you have a unusually large baby, this should be a great swing for at least the first 6-7 months. The music is soothing and pretty and the mobile moves too :-) Great deal and great price!! I purchased this swing after conducting an exhaustive web search before my baby was even born. I was somewhat concerned by the reviews reporting motor problems, however, this swing seemed to have the best quality/value ratio among those with the plug-in feature, so I finally decided to take the risk.
The swing arrived promptly and was easy to set up. When my baby arrived, she started enjoying the swing since she was 2 weeks old. She'd stop crying in it right away and fall asleep. This swing saved me from going crazy when she did not sleep at night, usually all I had to do is put her there and she'd be asleep for several hours. She is now almost a year old and still loves to nap in it. She sleeps so soundly that it still amazes me:)
Now, about the swing itself. My baby is now almost 25 pounds and the motor is going STRONG with her weight (I now use the second fastest speed, not even the fastest one). I never had a problem. I always used the plug in feature which I LOVE! Saved me tons of money. The cover is very easy to remove, mashine wash and put back, literally takes only 2 minutes. It is also stable and good looking, nice for the baby. It does take some space, though, maybe not more than any model of a similar size.
The swing does have one minor drawback which I want to mention. Something went wrong with the music almost immediately (after maybe a week or two of use), it has been sounding weird since than, but it does not seem to influence the baby. I could have returned it, but the swing was so helpful that I have been careless about it.
I have heard that some babies do not care about swings - cannot comment on that, but mine loves it.
To sum it up, overall it is an AMAZING product, extremely helpful. I highly recommend it to new parents since their baby is a newborn, and I highly recommend this one over the more expensive ones. I myself consider it to be one of the most valuable purchases I have made for the baby.

We bought this swing 3 yrs ago when my 4th child was born. I wanted a swing that did the side to side motion as well as front to back. My baby didn't really like the swing but that wasn't the swings fault. He had allergies and a lot of pain and was very needy. But we did get some use out of it.
My 5th baby was born in Feb. At first he hated the swing. But he warmed up to it around 2 mths. The one bad thing about this swing: my baby is very heavy, he weighs over 22 lbs at 4 mths old. This causes him to move very slowly. He loves the swing but wants to move faster. He will only fall asleep if he is exhausted because he is barely moving. I wish they could make it better for bigger babies. And his chubby legs have a hard time fitting under the tray. Other than that it is a great swing. Sometimes the feet get moved and it is hard to get it in just the right position so it doesn't move weird when its swinging but I still would recommend it.

I bought this swing due to my daughter LOVING her FP My Little Lamb swing and not wanting to waste anymore money on batteries (the only way that she will sleep thru the night is sleeping in the swing & before the swing she was colic, after using the swing she is not). The swing was easy to put together, was very cute, the A/C adaptor was the best feature, and the mobile moving for ease in removing your baby was great! For some reason my daughter hated being in this swing and we had to return it. The only reason why I think she didn't like it is due to the "no snuggle" chair. The My Little Lamb swing chair is like a bucket that holds baby's sides where the chair for this swing in just a base with a metal ring that you wrap the cloth around (just like most boncy seats). I wish this would have worked out for us but it was so much easier to bring the Little Lamb swing back from the babysitters, it made the baby very happy!

I did have to contact the company to get a new adapter but once I did this swing was great. My daughter used it until she was almost 8 months old. ( she was small) Now my nephew uses it and it is still going strong!

I bought this product because I was trying to keep my theme the same. I also bought the bouncer and the highchair. The bouncer seems to be ok, I haven't used it yet (still pregnant), but assembly was easy. After putting the bouncer together I thought that I was going to love the rainforest products, but I was wrong. The swing was a nightmare. I opened up all the pieces and took off all the plastic and got ready to assemble. It was in the first step we realized there was something wrong. The pieces didn't fit. We tried it several different ways only to realize the pieces were manufactured wrong so that there was no way we were ever going to get it to fit. My fiance thought he could get it rigged so we moved to the next step. To our amazment the next piece was wrong as well. Long story short we had to return it. I just hope the highchair assembles correctly.

i love the swing! its so colorful, i had bought the mickey mouse swing before but i returned it when i saw this one. the mickey mouse has dark nasty colors and this one is so bright and colorful it could be for girl or boy so i can use it with my 3month old son and later if i have a girl i can use it with her too! my son sleeps really good in it he loves it. it was super easy to set up, it took me like 15mins or less, and its very easy to remove the pad to wash it when it gets dirty. worth the money, bcuz u wont have to keep spending money buying batteries all the time, like all the other swings. u just plug it and ready to use with out the worry that it might run out of batteries.

We've been using this 6 months now. Baby really like it at first but got board with it, but I think that is just her. She constantly wanted to cuddle and this was the only thing we could put her in and get some peace. I bought this primarily because it would plug in. I would have really like the ocean wonders swing because it has lights but it didn't plug in. The only problem we had was the switch for the moble started to wear out and wouldn't shut off. Good selection of music also.

We used this product when my daughter was born and it was such a life saver! She loved being in it and gave me a break. I would have given this 4 and a half stars if I could. We loved the open top concept, the cushy seat, the two-way swinging option,the mobile, and the AC adapter. Our only negative was the size. The legs of the base are so wide and take up alot of room. Our house is a bit small and the swing always seemed to be in the way. Other than that it was great.

My son got his swing for Christmas and he loves it! He started using the swing when he was only 3 months old he is now 2 months and loves the swing. The animals on the swing keep him entertained and its nice the the swing plays different music (has nice sleeping songs)

I bought this product because of the features and the look. I have to admit that I experienced problems with it like it did not work except when on battery mode and some of the other issues that that others have reported in their review. However, I called Fisher Price and they walked me through how to properly reset the swing and I have had not more issues. It is great and works like a charm.

I dismissed all the reviews and got this swing anyway because it seems like the top of its class--plugs into the wall, great reclining positions, a mobile whose animals go around and around while leaves gently flap up and down, and music that wasn't annoying and could actually be quiet! I should have just asked for some other swing. The motor broke within a couple months. Just like everyone said it would. What a waste.

This swing was nice until it completely broke after I month of use. I used it with my tiny newborn for exactly a month, then it completely stopped swinging, then it stopped playing the music AND the mobile stopped working. What a waste of money. I am not saying all fisher price stuff is bad, I actually went and bought another fisher price swing that is a little more expensive and shaped like a plate(round) and it works great.

I love this swing. The material is water-resistant so anything that spills rolld right off. The animals on the mobile are so cy=ute and colorful my little guy startes at them all day when he's in the swing it's too cute. Someone gave us the swing after they used it and it was still in good condition and lasted sitting in their garage for almost 3 years so lasting over time isn't an issue.

I loved the cradle swing. My baby enjoyed it very much. It guaranteed to put her to sleep everytime we put her in. We took maxinum use of it as cradle and swing, before passing on to a friend who loves it also. I loved the way you can change the swinging directions from sideways to forward by just turning the seat. My baby loved the characters and songs with differnt sound setting. The speed setting to chance to lower setting was great once she falls a sleep. Most of all I can let it run forever since no concern of running the battery out. I loved it so much I kind of wanted to keep it even after she grew out of it. I greatly recommend it.

I would NOT buy this swing. My baby is 3 mo. old and I have been using this swing for most of that time. It works great to get her to sleep, and it worked perfectly for ONE month. But, for the last couple of months I have had to push the swing manually to get it to move. Many days I have to push it 20 times before it gets moving!! It also has to be on the highest setting to swing. It's so bad that I will be searching today for a new swing. I've been procrastinating about it though because we got this swing for free from a friend that got two at her shower. Plus, I liked that you didn't have to use batteries. I wish these companies would make a swing that worked right and plugged in to the wall. I guess if they did, they would go out of business.

My son is now 6 months (20lbs) and the swing has been awesome! We've used it since day 1 and he has never complained. One direction of swing puts him to sleep and the other we use while we're eating, cooking, or doing the dishes. The music is great, the mobile keeps his attention. I really liked the fact that I could just plug this swing in instead of using up batteries. I also like how the mobile swings up. The only con would be that it takes up a good amount of room. If you are cramped for space I would get the take along swing. We plan on using this swing for future kids!

This swing is perfect! It is constructed nicely, is sturdy and adorable! My daughter loves the mobile and the little animals and just stares up at them whether they are moving or not! The colors are perfect. The music is soothing for my baby and she enjoys it as well. My only con is that speed 1 is a little fast for the first speed. I would think it would have been a little slower. I so do not see us using all 6 speeds since the first speed seems a little fast for her. But we are very satisfied with this product and we hope it continues.

We didn't use this swing much with my first child probley only a handful of times. We pulled it out with our second child and after using it for like a month the motor went out. I wouldn't purchase this item again.
