This is by far the best baby item we have for our little girl! She loves the lights and music.
This swing saved us on those first few weeks.. she loved it in the middle of the night and it put her back to sleep.
She is now almost 5 months and still uses it everyday. I am going to use this swing until she outgrows it. I would recommend this swing to ANY PARENT. We love it and could not be happier.

Also our little girl has acid reflux and colic and this swing seems to be the only place she is comfortable to sleep during the day, since it has adjustments in position. I can sit her up or lay it back! I have no bad comments about this swing!!

My almost 2 month old daughter loves this swing. We kind of spoiled her by letting her be an arms baby so I had to get a little help. This swing is great! Easy set up for my husband. My daughter already loves it and I just got it this week. The swing gives a little light show and sits up or leans back so she enjoys the soft music and falls fast asleep. Definitely a MUST HAVE! Plus it's much cuter than other swings. :)

Not too sure about the negative comments below. It is not noisy at all when it swings even on the fastest setting. And the music has a volume bar. The swing doesn't struggle to swing at all. So far so good with us. But just in case we purchased the protection plan for it.

I love this swing. It is the best product I got. It was worth every penny. My daughter was colicky and this swing saved my sanity. She also has reflux so it was a good place for her to sit and relax after eating. It is perfect because it can run all day and night, no that I'd ever leave her in the swing this long. It plugs into the wall so it saved tons of money on batteries. I can't stop raving about this product. It is also very durable and easy to take apart and take it anywhere I go. All the parts come off very easily, and it is easy to wash whenever we had a blow out. I had for 7 months and use it several times per day and I know I could sell it and still get a good price for it because it is perfect shape.

Watching the stars project on the canopy absolutely took my breath away. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating was because of how ridiculously hard it was to stretch the seat cover over the base, congress should have been called in for that. But besides that the assembly was a piece of cake. I love all the different features and feel like this swing was well worth the price. It's also nice that you can plug it in the wall instead of relying on batteries. I don't see why you would ever need to take the swing somewhere that you couldn't plug it into the wall.

I loved this swing. Anytime the baby could not sleep I put her in this swing and she was out. We also were in the process of moving long distance when she was only 2 months old & we took this with us in the car. Yes it is big and we had to pack around it but if I could have only taken one thing with me this swing would have been it. It was a life saver. It does make a creeking noise when getting the baby in & out but it was no big deal. I would definatly recomend it to anyone.

I'm sooo happy to have this swing my baby loves it. Yes the motor does make noises, but overall it's not that bad. I haven't had any other problems with the swing. My baby loves it, and she falls asleep and sleeps well in it. I can get so much done around the house, I can workout, cook, and even get some rest when needed. This swing is well worth the money.

From the moment i saw this item i was in love. it is beautiful to saw the least. the fact that it swings 2, well 3 directions is awesome because my daughter likes the forward motion better then the sideways motion. the music and sounds are wonderful as well its nice there are so many that they don't get annoying lol. My daughter has loved it the whole time. soon sadly she will be to heavy for it but its lasted for so long and is still in like new condition. i would recommend this product to everyone!!

My daughter loves this swing, she doesn't sleep in it like we were hoping, but it keeps her calm when we need 20 minutes to do something. Unfortunately, shortly after using this product it started not working properly. All the speeds were the same and the mobile would sound like it gets stuck on something every couple minutes and make a loud clicking noise... Wish this worked like it's supposed to... Going to try to exchange it, but we got it as a gift it well before our daughter was born so we didn't keep the packaging/didn't get a receipt... Also, the motor is a little on the loud side...

I was SO excited when I bought this. I saw the floor model and no other swing would do. I fell in love! It was my one splurge item. I loved the pretty star and moon lights. I loved the music! But unfortunately I was one of mom's who gets the "I refuse to like anything but your arms" babies. She hated the swing, car seat, etc. Only thing she liked was a bouncer my husband's company sent us as a baby gift for free. :/
When she was 6 months old, she enjoyed it! But she got 2 weeks out of it before she sat up so well that I was uncomfortable with her being in it. I kept it though and am using it for my next child. If it's a boy, I'll either still keep it, or reupholster it. DIY ya know. It does make that creaky noise when it rocks, and you have to get it going to the speed it wants to be at to make it stop. Otherwise it is wonderfullll!
Also, I don't see why people say it's heavy. It is pretty darn lightweight for a non portable swing. Must be very weak to not be able to transport it atleast from room to room. I was able to while carrying my sleeping baby :)

I think this swing is sooo pretty! And I love that it can be plugged in...big plus! I am due in 3 weeks so have not used it yet. Right now I am concerned with the fact that when you turn it on it makes a weird noise when it swings. Even when I turn the music on you can still hear the noise. Is this normal???? We bought this swing because Fisher Price has a good name. It was a cradle and a swing which we thought would make our baby happy. After two months, the motor died out, the mobile started grinding and the light for the mobile stars would fliker on and off. The construction is also unstable because when it worked at its top speed, it shook its whole structure side to side lifting up on its legs. We are VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER FISHER PRICE ITEM AGAIN. Waste of alot of money that new parents do not have.

I was so excited to get this swing as a shower gift. Problem is, it doesn't swing? If I give it a manual push it, it will swing for about 20 seconds. Then it just stops and continues clicking. I'm really upset as this was not only an expensive swing, but now we have to go through the hassle of taking it apart, fitting it back into the box and driving back to return it. What a bummer. Don't bye this swing, it's worthless.

We purchased this swing for our daughter. I loved the fact that you could plug it in instead of using batteries. It is very pretty to look at,I also thought the music & light show would soothe her. Got this swing 2 days ago and we were so excited to have our infant try it since she is so fussy and has colic. The first day she loved it, she slept in there for hours( which is something that is hard for her to do). The second day we put her inside the swing and turned it on and nothing worked. The swing,light show,songs, nothing worked. We tryed the included adapter in several electrical outlets with no success. [...]Not to mention our baby really needs a swing to help with the fussiness and colic. ( without the swing she was crying and awake for at least 7hrs at a time, mind you that we have tryed meds, she is on neocate, and has allergic colitis).

GREAT PRODUCT! My daughter was born 5 weeks early, and this swing was perfect for her! Now, she is almost 5 months, and still uses it on a daily basis... She LOVES the lights on the top, and now that she uses her hands, I hook toys to the tray and she can grab them and pull them to her mouth. Also, VERY handy that it plugs in OR runs on batteries. Never have to worry about it stopping mid-swing!

This swing plugs in, plays music and all kinds of sounds, tips up and down, has a rotating mobile, projects stars on the net, a toy bar, and swings in two directions. I only wish it had the option to turn on/off all the functions with one control, like some of the other Fisher-Price swings. You have to turn on and off the music, swinging, and light/mobile separately, which is a pain in the dark.

[note i have the periwinkle version of this swing, same thing only the design is different.] I was SUPER excited about this swing, I did HOURS and DAYS of research to pick out the perfect one for my son, and I admit that he absolutely loves it! And I do too, but not without a couple of pretty major flaws, and among these flaws, I am not the only one I've heard having them with this swing, Heard it from a number of people. Ok, so I've had this under a month and already have problems with it being defective. First of all, this swing is notorious for having a loud motor as it swings! Most babies don't seem to be bothered by it too much but its ANNOYING and for the price, it should not be an issue!! It makes a grinding noise, that's the best way I can describe it. Secondly, my son LOVES anything with lights so naturally we use that feature a lot, well 2 weeks after purchasing, it shorts out on me now- it will work perfectly fine and stay on for hours some days and then other days it will shut off on its own, sometimes as often as every 3 minutes! I did nothing to cause this so it could easily happen to anyone with this swing!! Then the last thing is, it just started another annoying thing yesterday- the mobile moves, and now when it moves, it sometimes clicks like its stuck- and when i say it clicks, it is LOUD and often several loud clicks in a row, and just when i finally get my son to sleep, it happens and wakes him up!! I CANT TELL YOU HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS!! I've kept this swing in perfect condition for the one month i've had it, never even moved it from original spot and if all of these things are happening even in consideration of that, I can't help but question it's durability! It's truly a huge shame that it's this way because if not for these problems, it would truly be the PERFECT swing that has it all. My daughter loved this swing! We put her to sleep in the swing sometimes because it cradled her so well. She had terrible reflux, so it helped her (and us sleep). She also had a feeding tube for 3 months, so she had to sleep upright. We were able to position her comfortably in the swing so she could continue her feedings and sleep without worrying about reflux or aspiration.

This swing is absolutely adorable! It was really easy to put together (with my husbands help on the leg part) but other than that if I had to I could have done it by myself. The baby loves the swing and doesn't know any different, but for the parents, that's a different story. I love that it plugs in, as I have used other swings that are battery only. I am already on my 3rd motor that have had to get from the manufacturer. They are very good about sending them out, but takes a long time and baby is not happy waiting. Swing makes a very loud clicking noise when the mobile and lights are on. It started after using it for about 2 months. My baby falls asleep with the lights on, so it was hard when she was trying to fall asleep and then keeps getting startled with loud clicking. Also the lights and mobile go off after a short period of time very randomly. Hoping the next motor will last longer than 2 months before clicking. Love the princess look of the swing but would not buy it again. Also the swing doesn't seem like it has different speeds, very slow.

Positives: The star light show, the swing is smooth, easy to get baby in, good position for baby, my hubby says it was one of the easiest things we got for our daughter that he put together & folded up easily (once you got the hang of it), sturdy, you can plug it into an outlet so you don't have to buy a million batteries, and perfect for your little princess

Cons: It does make a little motor noise (to be expected), the mobile isn't all that bright & colorful to look at, not long enough as my daughter is a very long baby & outgrew this within 4 months which was sad because she LOVED it.

My grandmother gave us this swing as a shower gift. My husband assembled it with easy before my daughter's arrival this past November 09. When we placed Yasmine in the swing at a few days old she hated it, but we gave it time…..5 weeks later we revisited the swing and she loved it this time around.

The starry light show keeps her in awe when we turn down the lights, she spends endless amount of time watching and giggling at the flowers that spin above her. The music is soothing and helps drown out the back ground noise; it also has a volume control which is a big plus in my book.

I don't think we could survive a day with out this beautiful swing!

This swing is NOT sturdy, not worth the hassle of putting together just to put back in the box. The music is pretty terrible, some of it sounds like bad carnival music. The colors are nice, but babies see primary colors best, so I would feel bad strapping my daughter into this swing to look at the terribly made "pillow toys" hanging from it. My biggest concern is the fact that it is really unsturdy, as I previously stated. Do not waste your money!!!!!

We recieved two of these as a very generous gift. At the price, I thought they would be great quality. They were great at first. We have now had them for three months, and they have had problems for the last 2 months. First, the motor is louder than I expected, but, that may be helpful in lulling the baby to sleep. If you hear a loud clicking, check the ring that hangs the canopy, it comes out of it's hole, and causes that noise. Now, one of mine makes that same clicking noise, but it's coming from inside the mobile, as I've taken the canopy off, and the clicking won't stop. On the other swing, the mobile has a loud squeeking, rather annoying. So, now I just have two swings, in which the "extras" that make the product so expensive don't even work. I have called fisher price, and the only good thing I can say is that they are sending me replacement motors for both swings. [...] The only good thing about this swing is that it plugs in. Oh, and nowI have to put thick blankets in the seats, as the padding has worn very thin, and seems to be uncomfortable. AND, there is literally only one speed...

I am currently using this product for my newborn baby girl, which is a good crier might I add. I bought this swing for her, and thought to myself wow they use to be wind up back in the day. So I was happy that I didn't have to wind it up every 5 minutes. Well I am having a similar problem with it anyways. The connection in the back is bad and it keeps turning off and turning on the crying baby. Now I am waiting for the rain to stop so that I can take it back. Making me an angry Momma.

I've only had this swing for about a week but my daughter loves it! We had a craddle swing before that we got used and the motor went out so we decided to buy new because my daughter sleeps in the swing at night and refuses to sleep anywhere else except on me which doesn't allow me much sleep. It isn't loud, at least not any louder than our last one, like some of the other reviews said. The mobile isn't as great as some others and the projector of course only works in the dark but my daughter still enjoys it. I actually got this swing because it plugs in! Our last swing didn't plug in so we spent quite a bit on batteries so we knew that we wanted a plug in! The material is soft and the colors are very pretty! Also, it folds up pretty easily which makes it easy to move from room to room, this is the case however with all cradle swings which is one of the reasons I prefer them.

We did a lot of research before purchasing a swing. Although the FP swings got mixed reviews, when we checked it out at the store, we really like the Cradle Swing. It was easy to set up, and our daughter seemed to like it right from the start. She liked to look at the contrasting stripes on the netting. She is now 4 months and is very interested in the mobile and projected starts. We really like that it plugs in- we have enough things that require batteries!

My complaints would be: 1) It hangs crooked! I thought perhaps the legs were not evenly opened up- but the swing is actually hanging crooked. It leans a bit to the left, which is awkward. I am always trying to tilt the seat a bit so my daughter is not tilted too.
2) Every now and then, the swing stops moving. We only use the lowest setting, but for some reason the swing will just stop moving sometimes and it does not always restart itself.

It is a pricey swing, and our baby likes it, but it could use a little tweaking in the construction department- I hope they are not all crooked!

This swing worked perfect for the first 2 weeks. Then the motor became slower and slower. It would barely swing with my daughter in it. It also started to make loud popping noises, which would wake my daughter when she was sleeping. Poor quality for the amount paid. I plan on taking it back. Not quite sure if I am going to exchange it (since so many others have experienced the same motor and noises I have) or if I am going to return it.

i love this swing. our first swing (a different brand)was draining a package of batteries in a day so when we saw that this one can be plugged in we were sold. i even put it together myself!! after my daughters surgery this is the only way we could get her to sleep. it is so cute and is easy to take apart to clean. my daughter loves to grab the flowers as the move past her. she is almost too big for it at 7 months though (she weighs 16 lbs). i noticed that it does squeak but when it starts that i just push the legs out a little more and it stops. i dont like how loud the music is, even on the lowest setting. also not sure if we had a bad one but we had to return the first one because it quick working after a month. our second one we have had for almost 4 months and not a single problem! glad we kept the receipt! worth the money!

I have a 2 and 1/2 month baby girl and she loooves this swing! When shes tired and fussy it gets her to fall right asleep and when shes wide awake she is very content to just sit and look at the projection. The only problem I had is that there is no way to move the overhead mobile, so it can be difficult to lift the baby out of it. Also make sure the canopy is properly attathced and snapped in place or the mobile will hit it and make a loud grinding noise. Also, my daughter is a big girl ( 9lbs and 21.5 inches at birth)and already fills it from top to bottom so she will probably be too long for it soon. Overall, wonderful swing and worth the money.
