Good spit-up cloth.

I got these as a registrty gift. It works well as a spit up cloth and appreciate it's made out of organic cotton. I pre-washed these cloth diapers and they shrunk - big time! I wasn't too upset since I wasn't using them as diapers. Maybe if I actually "purchased" this, as opposed to getting them as a gift, I'd be more upset of the shrinkage. I washed in cold water and dried in "delicate" setting. Maybe if I drip-dried there wouldn't be shrinkage, but I refuse to do that. I do wish they were a bit thicker but are fine for spit ups.
BEST burp cloths!

These are the best burp cloths! My baby spits up CONSTANTLY and these are the only ones that really absorb anything. They are soft on his skin, too. They travel well, dry quickly, I wish I had 20 of them and no other burp cloths. These rock.
Great Product

Great product. Washes nicely.
The ends get a little frayed, but overall really nice.
Not even good as burp cloths!

I wanted to purchase these as back up diapers. They seemed fairly thin at the store but I thought they would bulk up after a few washes. I put it to wash Charlies Soap and out of the 1dozen 6-7 came out ripped! I called the company and they will send me replacements but seems like it was not just 1 defective package. I only bought these because they were buy one get one free. They cost just as much as the good high end unbleached prefolds ( When at regular price)
Thin and poor quality

I liked the idea of using an organic diaper as a burp cloth, however it did not hold up to the pre-wash before delivery! The material is very thin and after the wash cycle, the material was pilling. They were better after the dryer cycle, however the lint trap was full. Perhaps that only happens with the first washing?!
We like!

We actually like these a lot. We do NOT use them as diapers..only as burp/spit up cloths and they've been great. I had no trouble with them in the wash - but everyone's machine is a little different.
They DO come out wringled but I'm OK with that as all Gerber cloths that I've ever seen have come out wringled; the good news is...they were softer.
We really like these and will certainly continue to buy.
horrible as diapers, good for burp rags

horrible diapers, the pee goes right through! these are not 100% cotton! they have polyester stitching, and a polyester fiber fill on the inner part of the center panel! No wonder they are not absorbant. I sent these back to gerber for a refund.
The only thing they are good for are burp sloths and dust rags.

THESE WORKED GREAT. WE USED ONLY ORGANIC COTTON CLOTH DIAPERS WITH PLASTIC PANTS. THEY HELD UP GREAT. WE WOULD RINSE WELL AND THEN SOAK DURRING DAY AND WASH A SMALL LOAD EVERY NIGHT SOMETIMES EVERY OTHER NIGHT. I BOUGHT ORGANIC INSERTS FOR MIDDLE TO HELP WITH ABSORBENCY. SOMETIMES I WOULD FOLD ONE LONG WAYS IN THREES AND USE AS AN INSERT. I DID TRY DOUBLING UP BUT TOO BULKY INSERT OR FOLDING ONE INTO INSERT WORKS BEST. IF YOU ARE THINKIKG ABOUT ORGANIC CLOTH DIAPERS THESE WORK GREAT. BETTER FOR YOUR BABY AND OUR EARTH. DONT LET THE MESS GET IN YOUR WAY. MOTHERS HAVE USED CLOTH DIAPERS SINCE FOREVER YOU CAN TOO. THERE ARE STILL SERVICESES THAT CLEAN FOR YOU, BUT CHECK WHAT KIND OF CHEMICALS THEY USE! I WASHED MY OWN. [...] MY DAUGHTER IS TWO AND STARTED USING THE POTTY ABOUT 19MONTHS. SHE WANTED TO ON HER OWN ACCORD SO WE GOT A POTTY CHAIR AND UNDERPANTS. WE GOT LUCKY SHE WANTED TO GO LIKE A BIG GIRL ON HER OWN. GLAD I USED ORGANIC CLOTH DIAPERS AND I HAVE THEM FOR OUR NEXT CHILD. STILL IN GREAT SHAPE. RECOMEND :-) :-)

I love these for burp clothes. I got others as gifts, both thick larger ones, and thin ones with designs...but I like these best. Good size and appropriate thickness. Would definitely recommend and will buy again.
Thin

These are VERY thin. I bought these to use as burp cloths and cloths to lay on top of the changing pad to keep it clean. They are okay as burp cloths. But I can't imagine using them as actual diapers. When baby wets while you're changing her it soaks right through the diaper onto the changing pad! Plus, after washing these wrinkled up awfully.

As mentioned in another post, they will make great dust rags because they started falling apart after just one wash on a delicate cycle. I would not recommend these and will have to buy another brand.

I have used cloth diapers for my children and always give cloth diapers as baby shower gifts. Used as diapers, they are softer than any disposable on your baby's skin. They also have many other uses. They can be put under the baby's head as they sleep to catch any drool or spit up. They are wonderful as a burp towel. And afterwards they are the best dust rags EVER!
3 ply cotton....Great spit rags

I purchased these for my niece to use as burp /spit rags. I wanted a thinner diaper because they would be easier for my mother to machine embriodery on and you can fold over with one hand for a clean corner after baby spits up. They are soft , thin and perfect for this use.
If I was looking for cloth diapers to diaper with I would have purchased the 6 ply or the 3 ply with the foam insert.

I bought this because it's organic & the reviews for getting an average of 4 stars. But I was so disappointed after washing them today, they came out like crumpled paper. They're so wrinkled that I will need to iron them first before using. I'm going to look for other burp cloths instead. They're supposed to be diapers but I don't know how you can use it to fold as a diaper cloth to fit your baby. I just wasted my money on these!

I use these as diapers with the g diaper system. I live in a small town and would have to order the g diaper liners. Instead I started using the gerber cloth and it works great! I don't double up or anything and don't have any leakage issues. BTW, I also use the kushies liners over the cloth and it allows me to easily remove BM and flush down the toilet, yeah!
