We bought two of these, one so we would have one in our car when we wanted to take our grand daughter with us in our car without having to remove one of our kids' bases from their car, and the second one so our kids wouldn't have to continually move bases from one car to another each time they wanted to go somewhere with the baby in a different car.

Our two-month old grandson was coming for a first visit. His parents were bringing his infant carrier/carseat, but to be able to transfer the car seat to our car we needed a second seat base. We ordered on line and it was delivered directly to our door in time for their visit! So easy and convenient! Our son snapped it into place (ease of installation) and we were set to go with our precious cargo safely and securely fastened in.

This is just what we were looking for, and Wal-mart had it at the cheapest price. It fits our Graco Snugride infant carrier perfectly. However (as with any other car seat), it is a PAIN to install. We had to end up pulling our car's user manual (one base came with the infant carrier, but we bought this for our second car). Figuring out where the latches were in the car, and we ended up putting in on the passenger's side of the backseat, since it was sort of wiggly in the middle (but maybe it's just our car).

Having a 2nd base for the car seat has been a huge help. Now my husband can take his truck where he needs to go and I still have my car available to me. To just be able to click the car seat in and go is wonderful. I would highly recommend it!

I believe being able to buy extra bases for a car seat instead of several whole car seats for mom/dad/grandparents, etc is a fantastic idea. It's a great money saver and time saver. I just wish it was not such a complicated ordeal to install these things properly. I haven't found a car seat yet that I felt completely comfortable that it was installed correctly.

I'm sure this is a great product, but I wish the description had mentioned that it didn't work with the newer Graco Snugride32 model. We ended up having to take it back and purchasing the right base from another site, even though we got the carseat from Walmart. I would only recommend it if purchasing the older Snugride model.

An additional base definitely makes life a lot easier when you have 2 vehicles. Though it's adjustable, if you have a very slanted rear car seat you will need to roll a towel and place it under the base to make sure the car seat is level once it's snapped into the base. Such a time-saver!

I had goten a infant car seat that was not compatible with any base. I decided that I should get an extra base after we got another car seat that had a base with it. Had it professionally installed by an inspector. A must have for a 2nd vehicle, it will make your baby experience that much easier.

we actually got this product as a 3rd car seat base, we have two cars and both cars have bases that are never taken out, so we got a 3rd base for the grandparents to use, and since they are easy to install correctly even the grandparents can do it.
