I have this highchair and it's really pretty good except for that the screws seem to loosen the longer you use the chair. It's not a huge problem as long as you re tighten them every few weeks. But overall great!

We use this highchair for our 9 month old daughter. I love it! It looks classy and has held up very well. We get lots of compliments. I find it easy to clean and move baby in and out of.

We like it so much we are buying a second one for baby #2!

Looks great, but the design is ridiculously poor. It is extremely difficult to clean, varnish is peeling, plastic cover for wooden tray basically sits atop the wooden portion of the tray and is easily removed within seconds by my 8 month old. I didn't want my baby eating peeling varnish off the wooden tray so I taped the plastic portion down, which only resulted in baby getting fingers caught and severely pinched between the two parts of the tray. DON'T WASTE THE MONEY UNLESS YOU WANT A HIGH CHAIR TO LOOK AT RATHER THAN USE. YOU'LL GO NUTS TRYING TO CLEAN THIS THING. YOU'LL GO NUTS TRYING TO USE THIS THING. ONLY PLUS: LOOKS NICE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.

This high chair looks very nice but the wood is not durable. Lots of chips and scrathces after about a year and we have not been hard on this chair. The pad and tray are easy to clean. Overall, somewhat disappointed. Would probably choose plastic if had to do over again.

good: very attractive--looks like a nice piece of furniture. best-looking high chair i've seen. pads remove easily and hold up well to washing. removable plastic tray makes it easy to clean. not great: removable plastic tray is a little too easily removable. i had to pull the chair to the island and put part of the tray under the corner so that my son couldn't remove it and make a total mess. doesn't work so well at our dinner table. finish not sturdy enough--from the tray warping after wiped and even dried and the stain coming off around the ring at the bottom, the finish needs more protection. i would buy it again just because it fits in so nice and doesn't stand out like a sore thumb like the plastic and vinyl, brightly colored chairs. i would just be a bit more careful with the finish.

Right now, we only use this high chair to put my daughter in while my husband and I are eating dinner. We strap her in and put a bunch of toys on the tray that way she will play contentedly and we have a chance to eat a meal together. I love that the tray slides on and off and has a plastic cover.

I love the concept of this highchair, but there is nothing practical about it. Yes, the wood finish matches perfectly to my furniture, but in a few short months the finish has worn off despite only washing with warm soapy water as recommended. The stain is actually coming off. Also, the plastic tray was great until my son (at 11 months) figured out he can pull it off himself. There are so many places for food to get caught that I never feel it is truly clean.

I got this chair as I love the look of a wooden high chair over the big bulky plastic ones. It definitely has it's good and bad points. The chair pads clean very easily...throw them in the wash and everything comes out without having to try. The clear tray is easy to take off and wash, but can't fit in the dishwasher. The slots on the side and under the padding do gather food more than I would like. The babysitter has the plastic ones and can recline to keep the kids hands away from the bowl or a side part that holds more food. I generally need to have a table handy to accomplish this. Hers also has a 5pt harness...when my two were small we had to put pillows on either side to keep them from slipping all over the place when wanting to look around as the lap belt just wasn't enough. Overall though I'm very happy with it.

This chair looks beautiful when you first get it... but the wood quickly wears. We have been using our chair for 8 months, and already the finish has worn off the tray, the wood is splintering, and my 13 month old can pull off the plastic tray by himself! (Not to mention it doesn't fit in the dishwasher!) I bought this high chair because it goes with our decor, but I am already replacing it with something more practical.

I purchased this highchair because I wanted a traditional looking product that went well with my kitchen. I was hesitant because some of the reviews mentioned that their kids didn't fit due to the unmovable bar. Despite the reviews, I purchased the product and am very glad I did. My son is now 15 months old and at the 95th percentile for height (50th for weight) and we don't have any issues. There is also a removable pad, so if it did become an issue, more room is available by removing it. I have had no cracking issues, and think it's a great product overall. The tray is heavy, but I think that adds to durability.

I used it from the time my son was 5 months old until now which he is 1 1/2.
I love how it looks in my kitchen. Like that the the plastic tray is removable and easy to clean.
Hard to get the older children in and out if it

Great chair,

Only con the plastic top cannot go in the dish washer. Ours turned white and cracked.

The padding is all removable and holds up to being washed very well.

It was handed down to us and has held of to some very messy babys and still looks new other than the clear (now white) tray.

I know it looks like a pretty piece of furniture that's why I bought it but Do Not buy this high chair. It is a nighmare to clean, the wood is cracking everwhere, the screws are always falling out (which are serious choke hazards) Every meal in this high chair is an ordeal.

I really like that it fits in with all our other furniture and does not look odd and out of place. It is sturdy and durable considering my daughter thinks it is a jungle gym. The only drawback is that if you need to replace the pad you have to contact Graco directly.

This highchair is not only beautiful, it cleans up very easily too. My daughter loves to get food all over the pads. One cycle through the wash and they look brand new. The only thing I wish is that the plastic cover for the tray didn't scratch so easily. Make sure you use the soft side of the sponge.

I really liked the look and sturdy feel of this highchair, but I am having the same problem as posted by "Carter's Mommy" on 8/24/09.

The front section and wood "bar" between the baby's legs are not adjustable. My 8 month old son was not fitting in the seat well. He is large (95th percentile for height and weight)but should still fit into a standard highchair. It was very difficult to squeeze him into the space between the back rest and the front bar. My husband did end up sawing the middle section out (the bar and tray support) so now we just use the seatbelt to secure the baby, and the tray rests on the armrests (where it clips into the sides).

I would recommend that in the next version of this chair, the bar/front section should be hinged (like a graco stroller) where you can "open" the entire front and then snap it into place. The bar between the legs should either be placed toward the front edge of the seat or it should be adjustable based upon size of baby.

I would not recommend this chair, because many babies will outgrow it before they outgrow the need for a highchair.

So far we've loved this highchair. It looks great in our dining room and the price was right too (I used my coupon from the trade-in event towards this item). The plastic tray comes off easily to wipe down after each use.

I registered for this high chair because I loved the look of it. It has a traditional look and I wanted something other than plastic.

The tray is extremely heavy and if you don't have it clicked in all the way when not in use, you risk having it fall on the floor and creates a safety concern especially if your baby is crawling around

Secondly now that my son is walking and forever trying to climb things, he has tried to climb up the front of the chair and because the tray is heavy, it makes the whole chair top heavy. If I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't purchase only because of the heavy tray.

This high chair is terrific!! And believe me I reviewed and extra reviewed EVERY single item bought for our baby. I lost 4 babies before having a healthy one and wanted everything to be A+ TOPS for our little girl! This cleans up so great (with just water and a rag). We used it to feed her her 1st birthday cake in and got every spot out with just water! Our 2nd is on the way and we will be purchasing another.

This is by far the best highchair out there! When I got pregnant with my son, I decided that I didn't want the usual big, plastic highchairs that everyone else used - I wanted one that actually looked good in our dining room. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this chair is more than just good looking. Don't let the vanilla seat scare you... cleanup is super easy!!! Most food stains wipe off immediately with just a wet paper towel, but when you do need to wash it (for me that's about once a month) it comes out of the wash like new! I've used mine for over a year now, and it looks like it's never been eaten in once! The only drawback is that my son figured out relatively quickly that he could pop the plastic tray up and off of the wooden tray. This just requires adult supervision (which you should be doing anyway) to make sure that the tray isn't taken off during mealtimes.
