I like this car seat for my 10 month old daughter. I bought this one because the old eddie bauer didnt mention clearly in the box the weight limit. Anyway I read the reviews at walmart.com and bought this one. Item was shipped very fast. Reviews said its huge. Not too big. I have a honda 2 door and a mitsubishi sedan. I placed in both of them forward facing and it fits nice. I think the product is comfortable for my daughter. It has 4-5 (cant remember clearly) slots for the belt -shoulder height adjustments. It also has 2 ways to install in the car. It not heavy. It has been 1 month she have been using it almost everyday.

After searching the internet and several different stores, my fiancee and I decided on the MyRide 65 for our four month old who was getting tired of laying down in her infant seat. She is now 11 months old and still loves this carseat.
I don't understand how others can not like this seat. It fit perfectly in my van both rear facing and foward facing, it fits great in my mom's Malibu and wonderfully in my grnadma's Altima. Why would anyone pay 300 dollars for a carseat that hasn't been rated as highly as the MyRide?
And the material isn't cheap either... I have had to wash the cover several times due to my daughter having exploding diapers and it has held up to the washings {I never dry it though, I always air dry} and the seat still looks brand new. The cup holders are awesome, it fits her sippy cups, binkies and other things that she wants to stick in there. I would recommend this carseat to anyone, because it is the best one that we have found. And we will be buying a new one for the baby that is coming in February!
Great seat!

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I purchased this car seat to be used as the primary car seat in my Kia Optima. I purchased two of the Cosco Sceneras for other vehicles. My daughter loves her seat and I like it, too. She falls asleep just as easily as she did with the infant car seat we used prior to this one. The seat is more plush than the cheaper Cosco seats. I have even had people notice the seat in my car and comment on how nice and safe it looks. My only concern for the future is how difficult it will be to clean; I hope it is as easy to clean as it was to install. I used the latch system to install and it took five minutes; very simple. If you don't have latch, it is simple to install with a seat belt. Be prepared: it is a big car seat. But, after comparing the measurements with similar convertible car seats, it is not that much bigger. Just much bigger than the infant seat we used before. Not sure this would have fit in my car rear facing; unless the passenger rode with their knees crammed in the dash. Which is not safe due to the air bags.
LOVE IT

The Graco convertible car seat was exactly what I needed. I wanted to match the car seat that my son already had in his car. Both of us particularly like its safety features. I ordered this "ship-to-store" which was easy and convenient and saved me the additional shipping charges. Overall, this was a good experience.

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I was a little concerned buying this car seat because everyone says how BIG it is....it's all true. It has to be such a big car seat in order to fit a toddler rear facing till 40 lbs and a child till 65. I have an early 90's Honda Accord and wanted to make sure my passenger would still get some leg room with this installed and they do. It requires the front seat to be pushed up a bit more than normal, but it's been fine for my husband who is 5'11'' to ride around town.
Perfect

This seat was purchased for my nephew. He absolutely loved this seat! He hated his infant seat, but slept and played in this one beautifully. Last night, he and his mom were involved in a pretty serious car accident. He is perfectly fine, and I attribute this seat. The ER docs said to watch him for head injuries, but this seat is so deep and padded, I don't even think he felt the impact. He was sound asleep at the time and woke up at the sound of the crash. Thanks GRACO for making a safe seat for children! We will be replacing that seat with another My Ride 65!!!!

My son, who is 3.5 months old, already weighs 20lbs. So we decided to move him out of his infant carseat (rated to 35 lbs - as if someone could carry around an infant carseat with a 20lb baby in it easily...). After having this one suggested by numerous friends, we bought it. I love it! It was easy to install, he fits nicely in it. It's very secure feeling in the car; I have no complaints. Well... actually, one. The picture made me think it was black with bluish... but it's not. It's silver. Not a big problem though, and it looks great.

I have purchased other Graco My Ride car seats. I liked the look & color of this particular pattern, so I got another one. It is not as plush as my others, but I like that better. I live in the South, and it is really, really hot here in the summer. Even though this material is dark, it stays cooler because of the fabric. It does not seem like a cheaper fabric, just different. I love this car seat and would definitely purchase another.
Does not work well for infants!

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
There is only one crotch buckle place on this carseat, so you are not able to adjust it as your child grows. Therefore, it leaves too much of a gap between the crotch and the crotch clip for smaller babies, which is dangerous! This seat never should have left the factory and this is a major flaw. I wonder of Graco realizes this! Do not buy this seat!!!

Overall I am very happy with the seat, even though it takes up a lot of space in the backseat. I drive a Hyundai Tuscon and have it installed rearfacing for now.The two other kids seating next to the carseat are being a little cramped, but that might be just my car :-)
The one thing I am not happy with is the material. It is very soft and nice to the touch, but my son sweats in it like crazy, AC running and all.
Other than that I would definitely recommend this seat.

Our 4 month old grew out of his infant carrier seat so we had been searching for a convertible seat. This one went above & beyond meeting our expectations. It is comfortable (seems so anyway, lol) & easy to install. The harness system is easier to use than our preschoolers booster harness! In the rear facing mode, the seat is at a recline just right so our little guy falls asleep & naps well. Before he HATED being in his car seat, but since we got this one, he loves it!

We purchased two of the Graco My Ride 65 for our twin daughters. We could not be happier. I am thrilled with the quality, durability, and comfort that we got from these car seats. Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I did a lot of research on convertible car seats before choosing the MyRide to replace the Graco Snugride 32 my son had outgrown. I chose this seat because of its high rear-facing weight limit, relatively low price, and because I tried putting one in my car first to see if it would fit. I'm happy to report that I can fit it behind the passenger seat in my Toyota Echo and a small adult can still sit in the front comfortably and safely.

I am a fan of Graco products and knew this carseat would be great. The carseat setup can be somewhat tricky but you just need to make sure that the carseat is balanced before you tighten it up for rear-facing. We have a Ford Edge and it fits just fine rear-facing. My 9 month old daughter likes the cupholders to put toys in. I like that it has the cushion insert for smaller babies but that it comes out to better fit kids as they grow. I've not had any problems with the straps getting twisted. Overall, this car seat is great and you can't be the Walmart price!

I went and bought this car seat at 10p.m. last night out of frustration while trying to install our safety 1st alpha omega convertible seat. We have a SUV and the only way to get the safety 1st one to fit was to have the front seat all the way up right and as far foward as it would go (in other words no one could sit in the front seat with this car seat behind it) After an hour of trying to install the other one I went to wal-mart and bought the ONLY convertible car seat they had that didn't have flowers on it. The Graco my ride 65 looked huge and I thought we would have the same issues trying to get it to fit, but we didn't. When I got home we took it out of the box and had it securely fastened in the vehicle within 2 minutes! It fit great. The front seat doesn't have to be all the way forward and can be reclined some. The car seat itself was much more secure, and the ease on installation was amazing. I didn't have to roll up towels to get it to be level, the latch belt was plenty long enough to easily reach the latch hooks. Tightening it was a breeze. I couldn't beleive that I was lucky enough for the only car seat wal-mart had to work out so great!
So far, so great!

As ever, Graco fails to disappoint. My husband and I had used the Graco travel system w/SnugRide 32 for the first 10 months with our daughter. The system worked out perfectly. Now that our daughter is too big for her infant car seat, we turned to Graco once again. I have come to trust Graco for manufacturing durable and safe products. My only concern was that I had read the seat is large, so I was worried that it would not fit in my sub-compact Chevy Aveo. No worries! It fits just fine, and, even though I did have to push the driver's side seat forward quite a bit, I am average height and have no problems! I highly recommend this and other Graco products!

We bought this seat so that our 2 year old son could rear face longer. He was currently in an Evenflo Triumph, which we also really like, but he was getting close to out growing it. We liked that the MyRide rear faces to 40 lbs and had a taller shell. Our son, at 24 months is 30 lbs and 36.5 inches... and he still has tons of room to rear face!
This seat is super comfy... he seems to LOVE it! He also likes the cup holders, he puts his small toys in them during car rides.
The seat was easy to install and fits perfectly in our small ford focus!

This seat is great. I moved my 9 month old into this convertable seat a few weeks ago. It fits great in my Sienna rear facing, however it doesn't fit well in my husband's explorer. I have tried it forward facing in both vehicles and it works great! This item is big and bulky but so well built. He is comfotable in the seat and when he falls asleep he looks very comfortable.

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
Had to get a new seat for my 6 month old son who outgrew the infant carrier but still needed to be rear-facing for another 6 months. After reading safety reviews as well as numerous consumer reviews, I chose the Graco MyRide 65. The seat was very easy to install. I used the LATCH system at first but could not get the LATCH belt to tighten enough to where I was comfortable with it. Not a flaw of the seat, more so of the LATCH system. So ended up using the seatbelt and clip. As I mentioned it is rear-facing for 6 more months still, and this causes the front seat to be pushed all the way forward in our SUV, basically rendering it useless for a passenger. The only thing I really don't like about it is that the straps are hard to adjust. With the Graco infant carrier we had before, the straps easily adjusted, the chest snap slid easily to adjust to get the baby in and out. This one does not slide easily and at the bottom where you can supposedly adjust the length of the strap is incredibly tough to adjust. This makes it a little difficult to get baby strapped in and out, especially if he is squirming. I can see the straps getting dirty and sticky from regular baby use and then really having a difficult time adjusting them. Other than that my son is thrilled with his new seat. He loved being able to sit up and sleeps much more comfortably.

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I really LOVE this carseat. I researched and read hundreds of reviews before I purchased this carseat for my 6m old daughter (on sale at Walmart.com - extra bonus!). She loves it - it's super comfy, she plays happily while we drive and dozes off when she's tired. It sits up high enough that she can see out the windows which is good for her.
The only drawback for her is that it gets REALLY hot, she sweats a lot anyway but the gray on black gets really hot in the summer. The cup holders work well to hold her toys. The carseat is also easy to install using just the seatbelts.
I gave two areas 4 stars because we've only had the seat for about a month so I can't really speak to durability issue. And for features we have older vehicles so we don't use the LATCH system, but I'm sure it's easy to use.
The only drawback for me was that at first the harness tightener was really hard to pull. But after two weeks of use it loosened up and is now just right.
We move this carseat from vehicle to vehicle non-stop and it's not hard to do. The seat itself is pretty light and the install is very easy. Overall I would highly reccommend this seat to anyone.

Car seat is everything description said it was! I've purchased very expensive(Britax) and less expensive Graco car seat, I have to say Graco is doing a great job and is getting my loyalty! Safety, durablity & comfort are most important to me when shopping for carseats for my kids, and this has it all. I actually purchased the Chandler model, so fabric is a little different, but I really like the quality & durability. Very easy to install, it is big like other reviewers posted, but I have bucket seat in the middle row of my van. My only complaint is rear facing, the harness release leever is a little hard to get to, but it's doable.(It's a bit harder for my husband since his hands are larger.)
Thanks Graco another great carseat!

I'm very happy with this purchase. We chose this car seat because it's the only one that's rear facing to 40lbs. My son loves it. He went from his infant seat to this. He loves the cup holders (not that he knows what they are or what to do with them) and he loves that he can see out the back window. He's a big boy (6.5 months and 19.5lbs) and he's got plenty of space. I like the way the straps adjust (just a pull on the strap in front). It's so much easier than some of the other car seats. I also got a great deal on it. We ended up getting it for $115 and a $10 egift card to boot! It's easily $150 everywhere else. I never would have gotten it at that price. We haven't had it too long but so far I love it!

I got this carseat for my 13 month old son and I must say for the price it is very nice....the fabric is so soft and doesn't get extremely hot in the hot car......the only thing that I wish they would change is that when the carseat is in the car and you try and adjust the straps it's hard to do because it's slammed up against your car's seat.....when he get's turned around and riding forward facing this won't be an issue...but for now it is...however it's managable....but overall I am very satisfied!

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I recently purchased the my ride 65 by Graco for my daughter's car. I did so as my grandson can then ride rear facing until he is 40 lbs. You don't find many car seats that do that. I have read that this is the safest position and, we should keep him that way as long as possible. He is 20 lbs and 29 1/2 inches long at 12 months and, he fits in the seat well and does not mind being in it. We have only had the seat installed for a week so, at this point do not know how the car seat's cover will hold up. We did have our instalation inspected by the police and, it is fit and snug. I wish that the strap to loosen the 5 point harness was on the side as it is sort of blocked (RF) by the back of the toyota's seat. However, my daughter & I have small hands and can manuver it OK. So far we are pleased with the seat. I was glad to have read a review telling us that the bottom flaps had to be turned in before trying to install as a RF seat. You also will need small hands to change the height of the arm straps for the child. It is very tight.

I guess maybe I should've measured the space in the car with the specific height measurement from the details...lol. This is great carseat with built in cup/snack holders, easy of set up, good construction... but dang, I put that thing in the car (a suburban) and it was so high, it'd have put my son's head near the ceiling, leaving his brothers way down yonder. He thinks he's a king, but gosh I don't need a carseat as a thrown to encourage it. Ended up putting in other car that he rarely rides in.

When I installed the car seat into my vehicle for the first time, I was discouraged. We purchased two of these car seats at the same time. One for my husbands truck and my trail blazer. The seat installed easily in my husbands truck, but not so easily in my car. Part of the problem was we installed the seat incorrectly the first time. The seat is in my car now and installed correctly. I LOVE this seat as well as my husband. Our little boy looks so grown up in his seat. He seems to enjoy having more room. It is much bigger than his first car seat (Infant Carrier). I would recommend this seat to anyone who would ask me about this seat. I LOVE GRACO products and will continue to buy thier products. GRACO's customer service is amazing. I had questions about the seat before I planned to purchase the seat, I contacted them and they made me feel more confident about my purchase that I decided I would purchase two of the same seats. GREAT PRODUCT!

I bought this seat as a 2nd seat to our Britex. It has become our FIRST seat. We prefer it to our Britex for comfort, ease of use and fit. The release system on this seat is brilliant (anyone who dislikes fighting with the orange button push release on other carseats -- you'll love this!). Our son sits better in this seat (he's 10 months - so still rear facing). In his Britex, it is as if the buckle between his legs is too far back for him. He snuggles into his Graco seat better as well. We needed a seat that allows the harness to be used to 65 pounds - since WI kids must be in a harness until after their 4th birthday. All my kids hit the carseat-dreaded 40 lbs long before their 4th birthday -- leaving Britex as our only option until now! For $100 less than the Britex model - this is a VALUE!

We love this car seat, we took our 10 month old in the store to sit in different seats and he loved this one, we ended up ordering it online because it was cheaper online, the only reason we gave 3 star rating on features was because we really liked the adjustable strap feature on others seats without having to undo all the buckles and taking them out from behind, this one you have to take the buckles off & the straps out to adjust them to the childs height which you would only do every few months anyway.

And thus far my son loves his car seat and his head does NOT fall forward at all!! Also the seat is a little big but I have a Mazda 6 and it fits just fine in the back. He now has a comfortable and VERY safe seat :) Couldn't be happier and what a great price

Needed a new car seat since my 10 month old was getting too long for the infant carrier. I've only had it a short while but I like it. I use it rear facing in my 2002 Nissan Sentra & also 2010 Ford Edge. In the Sentra the front passenger seat has to be pushed forward so being 5'8" it's a tight squeeze for me to sit. My husband can't fit so if the front passenger is really tall then this might be an issue. It fits perfect in the Ford Edge.
My daughter sits well in it. When she sleeps her head doesn't fall forward like in the infant seat but I have noticed her head roll forward sometimes. She seems very comfy & happy in it. I only have 1 carseat so far & have changed it from car to car but I'll buy another one for our new car (Edge), I wanted to try it out first.
Excellent!

I got this car seat for my new addition due in September. I always buy early to make sure it will meet my expectations. It is a little big but I know it will securely protect my son. I have a 20 month old daughter who prefers to sit in the new seat rather then hers which costs ( 200.00). I believe she likes the new one better!

We have twin 10 month girls who just outgrew their infant car seats. We were looking for a great carseat that they could use for several years. I loved that this car seat can face backwards for up to 40 lbs and forward up to 65 lbs. It was easy to install. My husband did both seats in less than an hour. The girls love the seats because they are so comfortable and support their heads so much better than the infant car seat. I would definitely recommend this car seat! And a great price at Walmart on sale for only $115. And free shipping! I couldn't have gotten this great of a deal at Babies R Us or Target even with my discounts.

I really like this car seat. I searched all over the internet for the best price and best seat. Luckily, I haven't been in any accidents but I feel confident that my son would be safe in this seat. 2 weeks after we bought the seat my son "got sick" on one car ride, the fabric allowed me to just wipe it up and with a little shot of fabreze the seat was as good as new.
Great upgrade

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I purchased this seat because my son was growing out of his infant carrier at 7 months old and needed to be safe and comfortable. I tried another brand first but when looking for convertible car seats it seems to be a common issue that in rear facing mode the child's head flops forward when they fall asleep. That is not the case with this seat. When aligned correctly it has a natural slant almost as good as an infant carrier. Also, set up was a breeze thanks to the pre inserted straps that arrive in place and were bundled together. This is also the case for when the seat will rotate to forward facing. As other reviews state, this seat is very large which is great for our Chrysler Pacifica but would not be recommended for a small vehicle as not only is it wide but it sits rather high. Again, great for a single bucket seat but would not recommend with bench seating as it will be restricting to other passengers. One thing to keep in mind when purchasing is that the fabric isn't quite the same colors as shown in the photos online or even in comparison when the box arrives. This was fine by us as the color that it actually is, is more of a greyish silver color rather than the blue which is shown. If this would be an issue you may want to look at it in stores if possible but the design still looks very nice. We ordered our seat online from walmart.com and it arrived the same week with free shipping! Great bonus as it was already the best price on the web. Good luck to everyone doing their research!
Love it!

My son is 16 months old and small for his age. He out grew the infant seat, and was in need of a new seat. As recommended by his pediatrician, I have chosen to keep him rear-facing. This seat is very roomy and comfortable for my son, with the valued potential to grow with him as its specifications are rear-facing 5-40 lbs, and forward facing up to 65 lbs. I should not have to purchase another car seat.

It was cheaper online than in the store!!!!!!!
I love how it reclines just enough so that my son's neck does not slump over when he is sleep!
Also I have enough room in the back of my car to fit 2 car seats and one backless booster seat!

this seat is working out great for my 22 month old son, it is easy to install, I have not tried it forward facing but rear facing is a breeze.
It is pretty easy to adjust the harness..
My son sleeps really well in this seat, more so than our other seats, so we always take this one on road trips!
The best part is the high rear facing weight limit, rear facing is 5 times safer, kids should rear face until the height and weight limit for rear facing on their seat.. so we will have a couple years of rear facing yet in this seat!
Nice, but wide

I drive a Nissan Murano and it fits perfect rear facing behind the driver seat and I am pretty tall! I didn't have to move the seat up at all (except to install it). Installation was VERY easy! It is WELL worth the price! :)

Got this seat to replace a ComfortSport that was involved in an accident. It is so much better, it rear faces until 40lbs, and harnesses to 65lbs forward facing. My almost 6 year old would actually still be able to be harnessed in it (just barely though, and she said it was to restrictive with the side impact protection) Like all my previous Graco seats, it installed super easily. All around great seat!

Great for Extended Rear Facing

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I bought this car seat along with a Britax Boulevard CS when my son was ready to move out of his infant seat. The Britax was to be the main seat and this was to go into my husband's car. I was interested in keeping him rear facing for as long as possible so these two seats seemed like the best choices. I kinda bought this seat also to save a bit of money and not buy two Britax seats. Especially since it was sort of the "extra seat". Well, right around the time that my son turned 15 months it started to get really difficult for him to fit comfortably rear facing in the Britax, My Ride-plenty of room. And my son is only in the 50th percentile for height. It got to the point that he would be really upset if I tried to get him into the Britax seat rear facing, in fact near impossible. Long story short: My son is now 19 months old. For the past few of months he has been foward facing in the Boulevard but happily rear facing in the My Ride. He still has plenty of room for his legs. The seat is just deeper. Also, because it is so deep even on the sides he seems very well protected, almost encapsulated in the car seat. I honestly think that this is one of the best baby purchases I made. And to think I almost bought a different seat because I was turned off by rethreading the harness straps. It's really not that big a deal when you consider how much longer this seat can keep your child rear facing (thus safer). If you want to keep your child rear facing a bit longer or much longer, this is possibly the best seat for you. I did tons and tons of research but my experience speaks for itself . Also, in my admittedly exaustive research I read about the harness fraying by the adjustment slot. I have had no problem with this. I did however buy the seat from Walmart for that reason. According to what I had read the Walmart seats do not have this problem. Of course maybe this issue has been corrected on all models.
Perfect for Developmentally Delayed 1 Year Old

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
Finding the perfect convertible car seat for my 14 month old daughter was really hard since she is developmentally delayed and cannot support her head yet. This seat is indeed a perfect fit for her. I bought a Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite and it didn't recline enough for her or support her head enough. It also didn't fit well rear-facing in my little 2001 Toyota Corolla car. I took my daughter to the store and put her in every convertible seat they had on display and I loved the way she fit in the Graco My Ride 65. I wasn't sure if it was going to fit in my Carolla car so I asked if they would let me try the display model to see if it would fit. They were happy to let me do that if I took a sales associate out with me. The car seat fits great rear-facing in the center with out pulling the seats ahead. My husband is 6'2" and I am 5'8" and 7 months pregnant, so pulling the seats ahead to put it anywhere else is not an option for us. Because the seat is so high, there is still enough room to sit next to it. There is not enough room to put an infant seat next to it without the arms hanging over the infant seat and most likely causing a problem in an accident. The seat also fits just fine forward-facing in any of the back seats. Overall, I think this is a great car seat and would recommend it to others. I would also suggest buying online since it was cheaper than in-store prices. I would recommend going to a store and trying any car seat you want to buy in your vehicle before buying.

This is the second My Ride 65 I have purchased. YES, it is big, but it is durable, has great cup holders, my daughters are comfy in them, it is plush, and it has a weight limit that is 15 pounds higher than the average seat. Wal Mart's price today (115.00) is 50.00 cheaper than what I paid for the first one, so I am a happy camper!

Bought this seat for my baby, due in June. Fit in the back of my 72 Volkswagen Beetle but I wasn't comfortable with how high it sat. His body would be level with the window, which I didn't feel was very safe. However, plan to use the seat in a Toyota Camry and that should work out fine because he can ride in the middle of the back seat. Wish I had waited another week or two to order the seat since Walmart just knocked the price down another ten bucks, but still was a great deal for a seat that rearfaces to 40 and harnesses to 65.
Is a bit heavy and awkard to get in and out of car, but it will be installed pretty permanently so that's not a problem. Fabric is soft and padding seems comfy. Box it came in was pretty beat up but the seat came out fine.
Love it!

My daughter is 9 months old and she loves her new seat. It's much more roomy and cushy than her infant carrier. I love how it holds up to 65 pounds. This is going to keep her until her booster seat. My only regret is the cup holders aren't removable and able to be tossed into the dishwasher. Otherwise, great buy; good value; wonderful Consumer Report safety reviews; and fantastic speedy shipping on Walmart's part.

I absolutly love this carseat and so does my 2year old. It is large but she is so comfortable in it. It naturally reclines some so when she falls asleep her head doesn't flop around. The cupholders are great to hold all her "treasures". My sister is a carseat expert and she recommended this to me. I would recommend it to anyone who has the space (may not be good in the back of a small car; but perfect for my minivan). The best part is she can use it up to 65lbs. with the harness.

We have used the Evenflo Triumph for over 2 years, and have absolutely loved it. Due to the fact that we rear face for an extended length of time, I wanted a car seat that had the highest rear facing limit, so we chose the My Ride 65. I honestly didn't expect to REALLY like it, but wanted it for safety reasons. The Evenflo has a side knob tension adjuster, and it also has slide right shoulder height adjustments that allows you to change the placement without rethreading. I had used the Cosco Scenera car seat for a very brief time, and I could not adjust the tension while the seat was against the seat, so the side knob on the Evenflo was perfect. I was dreading having to use the My Ride 65 adjustment against the seat. I opened the box upon arrival, and fell in love. I put it in the car, got it installed easily and PROPERLY. I put loved one in for a test run, and he threw a fit when it was time to get out. It adjusts easily even though it's against the seat, it's cozy for him, it has built in cup holders, gives him until 40 pounds to rear face, and keeps him harnessed until 65 pounds. While I have loved my Evenflo, the My Ride 65 is far superior.

I had bought The First Years Tru Fit carseat for my daughter after she outgrew her infant carseat and then soon after Graco came out with the my ride 65. I was wanting a carseat that would go rearfacing longer and thanks to Graco its possible! I sold the Tru Fit and bought this one and im so happy I did! My daughter is 22 months old and 27lbs Im wanting to keep her rearfacing until 40 lbs. This carseat installed easily in my 2002 Chrysler Town and Country and the seat in front of it is actually able to sit back further than any other carseat i tried! AWESOME! I love the leveler on it and it is completely in the green without having to use a towel under the seat. I love how there are two tethers one for rearfacing and one for forward facing, no more having to re-thread the latch. The side wings are deep to insure their safety in side impact collisions. My daughter loves this carseat, it is extra comfy and she is already trying to buckle the buckles all by herself, =) its cute to see her try. Overall this carseat is amazing! If you are looking to keep your little one safer longer purchase this seat! If you are not able to get it to be a secure fit seek a professional that can help you! =)
Remember keep your babies rearfacing longer! This seat goes up to 40lbs for a reason! The straps should be at or below their shoulders when rearfacing and at or above when forward facing. Take off bulky coats in the cars to insure snug straps and use their coats to simply cover them up. When installing this carseat try putting your knee in the seat and pull up on the tether strap or seatbelt to insure its extra tight. Oh and another thing, when using the tether straps DO NOT USE THE SEATBELTS AS WELL! These seats are not designed for both to be used at the same time, it puts extra strain on the carseat and could cause the carseat to be severly damaged in an accident and also putting your little one in more danger of being seriously hurt. Keep the chest clip at chest level (h

After i realized the infant carrier i was using for my daughter had reached its weight limit, i started searching for the safest convertible car seat for my 11 month old daughter. Im a first time mom, and i wasnt sure what i was looking for, but after extensive research i knew i needed to buy a car seat that i could use for a long time AND had the most rear facing limit. This car seat is amazing, although it took us a bit to figure it out, my daughter loves it, she didnt want to get out of it! She usually springs forward when its time to take her out, but she was so comfortable and the sides are raised so she was extra protected. We bought this seat for my 20 month old son who is 28lbs and 36 inches. He was at the maximum rear facing height limit of his previous seat and I wanted to continue to rear face him as long as possible. I am very satisfied overall with the seat. The one of the few complaints I have is instaling it was not so easy. I ended up taking it to a car seat tech and now it is in perfect. The one other thing I didn't like is when adjusting the strap height you need to rethread the straps and you have to take the seat out to do it. We have a 2005 Ford Explorer and there isn't alot of room in the front passenger seat with the seat installed rear facing but my son has plenty of room for his legs. I think my complaints are minor and well worth dealing with to continue to rear face my son!!! Also the price of the seat is GREAT for what you get!!
Fantastic!

Our youngest is super big, so we needed a big car seat with room to grow and this one sounded like it would work. So far, it's been great. I love that it reclines so he looks normal without any head flopping if he falls asleep. And he loves the cup holders. The straps are easy to use and adjust. It is big, so I doubt we have room for a third car seat in the back seat anymore. Now we'll just have to get a minivan for the next one. :)
Good Car Seat!

I had originally purchased this seat from Walmart.com, but a few days later found it cheaper from another store and in a diff color. What I like about this seat is that it is RF 5-40lbs and 20-65lb FF. This is one of only a few seats that goes up to 65lbs. It was almost completely ready to install in the RF position when we got it. All I had to do was place the harness straps at the next higher slot, which was very easy. The manual is not confusing and was very easy to read and understand. The pictures were also very clear on how to do the adjustments for the whole car seat. We took out the extra padding that came with the seat since my daughter didn't need it. A smaller baby might though. The harness adjusts from a strap in the front of the seat. You just pull forward and both harness straps tighten. Then to loosen the harness there is a little metal lever you just lift up (same place you pull to tighten) and then pull the harness toward you. Very easy and very simple. There are 2 sets of LATCH straps, one for RF and one for FF that are already in the correct places. Other seats have only one set of straps that need to be moved. The seat cover is machine washable and goes over the frame with elastic. The seat is a bit bulky, but not heavy at all and not awkward to move. Installation was very easy also, my husband and I did it in 10 minutes. It fit nicely behind the passenger seat in our 2002 Chevy Impala. I am 5'7" and I still had plenty of leg room. We used the LATCH in the car and had to push down on the middle of the seat and got it really tight. The only negative things that I have to say about this seat is that I wish it had multiple crotch strap positions like other seats and that I wish the buckle was a little more contoured over the legs and rounded. Overall I would recommend this car seat over others. It also got very good ratings from NHTSA.gov and that was another reason I chose this one.
I had also bought the Evenflo Triumph Advance at the same time

I just bought two of these seats for my 7 month old son and I love them. I am using them rear-facing in the center position in a 2005 Grand Prix and a 2000 Blazer and I still have enough room to push the seats back in both vehicles. This is a large car seat but it is very easy to install/use and my son looks very comfortable in it. I would definitely recommend this seat.

I have been looking at this seat for sometime now. and finally i bought it. all the reviews i read were great besides some of course. my son (3mths) hated his infant seat. we sat him in this one and he didnt even put up a fight. it fits perfectly rear facing in my ford edge and still have plenty room behind the passenger seat to recline back if we want. i would definetly recomend this seat to anyone who is interested.

Car Seat is very nice- seems super plush. It is BIG though- it is much, much larger than the Graco SnugRide infant carseat system that we were using prior to this purchase. We are still using it rear-facing, and we did have to use the rolled-towel trick to get the correct incline. Baby seems to like her new carseat- especially the cup holders- which keep toys and stuff close at hand for her.

I've had this seat for a month, my now 1 year old had definetly outgrown his old seat and I didn't want to have to buy another seat till he no longer needed one. I had my 8 year old sit in it to check and see if he could fit in it and he did, so I am very pleased with the size and placement of the shoulder slots. Even though it is large enough for my 8 year old my one year old fits perfectly, he loves the cup holders which he can put his toys or paci in or even some little crunchies. The color looked more blue online but I was pleased it is more of a gray color to more closely match the interior of the van. I can't really reply on the durability but it does seem to be made of rather sturdy cloth, but is still soft and cushy.
Fashionably Functional!

Works great - comfortable for baby! I love the built in cup holders and adorable dotted print (while it being manly with the black and silver colors). I love it. A little rough setting it up - but that goes for all car seats. If you just take 5 minutes to actually read the instructions its no big deal.

My daughter loves this car seat!! It looks very comfortable and easy to use. the only thing that I dont really like about it, is when it is rear facing it is a little hard to adjust the straps, but i think that would be with any rear facing car seat.

I searched and reviewed every seat out there! My son is big for his age so we have had in him in this seat since before 6 months! He loves it. He used to cry before when I would put him in his seat until we got this one. We chose this one because it was about the price range we were budgeted and the reviews from every site I read said nothing but good things! I love also how we can use it for a long time!!! I had some troubel installing at first (I did it alone) but after it was installed I have nothing to complain about it! I tell all my friends about this seat! Def the best money and in my opinioin safest seat for my child.

This carseat so far has worked great for my daughter (we've been using it for about a week). She seems comfortable in it and it's easy to adjust and install. My only issue with it right now is that the bottom buckle is a little hard to press down to unbuckle it (I'm getting used to it though).

My 3 yr old is using this seat forward facing until our baby outgrows his infant seat. It is pretty big - his feet were between our shoulders in our Focus. We moved it to our Escape, and it fits well! We moved our Nautilus to the Focus, and it was a better fit.
While it seems kind of hard to me (without the infant pad) my son seems really comfy in it. It leans back a little, so he loves to sit with his hands behind his head like a little man, and looks so comfortable!
I think it's a nice looking seat. The straps are nice and easy to operate. My son loves to use the cupholders to store little treasures. I love how the top is shaped to protect little heads...and it also offers them a place to lean their heads when they sleep!
We are pleased with our purchase, so far. I think it will work well for a baby, too, but we'll have to wait a while to see for sure!
Very Pleased With This Seat.

I purchased this seat for my infant who at the time was 8 months old but weighed in at nearly 26 lbs. He had grown to large for his infant seat and I was looking for a seat that was safe but also comfortable for him. It is all that and more! He falls asleep easily and his head lays comfortably on the wrap around sides instead of flopping forward like kids do in some seats. It was very easy to install using the latch system (I didn't attempt to use the seat-belt) and he has been a happy passenger for 5+ months now. You will not be disappointed.

I was completely stressed about getting a new "Big Boy" Car seat. This one was a wonderful price and has met my expectations. I was scared how it would fit in my backseat. We have a small SUV and it fits perfectly in the back. I love the built in cupholders. I store pacifiers and toys in them. My little boy loves it. It was easy to assemble and get set up in the back. Im very pleased!!

We installed this forward-facing in an Accord and, while my daughter is very comfortable in this seat, it is so wide that no one can comfortably fit in backseat with her. I can see how rear-facing might give you more rear passanger space but forward-facing, it is extremely uncomfortable.

After trying 2 other carseats, we will be keeping this one! From reading other reviews, I don't think the fabric is cheap. I think it has good padding and I love the color. It is bulky but it makes me feel safer with having my daughter in it. I do wish it had more of a recline feature, but my daughter looks really comfortable in it. The straps aren't hard to adjust. Would buy again.

We bought two of these car seats for my 7 month old daughter (one for each car) as she grew out of her infant seat. We are extremely impressed and satisfied with our purchase - the quality is unbelievable. Our 3-yr old son has a Britax and we thought we would need to spend an additional $300 per car seat for our daughter, but the Graco MyRide 65 offers the same quality and construction of the Britax PLUS it's more plush, seems to be a more comfortable ride, still supports a child up to 65 lbs, and it has the bonus feature of double cup holders. Bravo Graco!

My son got this for his first birthday yesterday, I LOVE IT!!! It is the lexus of car seats. Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I was super stoked to get this carseat. The colors look much better in person. The instruction manual is very clear on setup instructions. Installation was fairly easy, however, Rear facing with Latch is a bit difficult! I feel like I cannot get the Latch strap tight enough. And the shoulder strap release button is kind of difficult to reach up against the seat. The shoulder straps are also hard to tighten, and dont feel like they are tight enough.
That said, the seat is very sturdy and feels very safe. For the price, I am happy what I paid to keep my child Rear facing up to 40lbs. I only wish this seat had a handle, as I will be carrying it in an airport soon.
Love it! Will buy for future children!

My son is 8 months old now...we just took a trip that was about 7 hours away from home. He slept the entire time, only woke when we stopped & I had to get him up (to feed him). This was not his bed time hour either. I worried about going on a trip so far away from home, but now I can't wait to go again. With our infant car seat he wld cry just 15 minutes up the road & then the whole way. I wld greatly recommend this car seat. It has saved alot of crying for me!

I Love this seat. It fits better than the infant seat in my car. I love the 40lbs rear facing feature. My son is 20lbs at 5 months old and not quite ready to be forward facing just yet. I have a VERY SMALL car and this seat fits so nice, I was worried it wouldn't fit at all because of other reviews saying how big it is. I own a Scion xA and this seat fits like a glove. My son loves it too, hes so much more comfortable in the larger seat and it doesn't get as hot as his infant seat. The material is great, he doesn't sweat that much from it.
Overall this is an amazing seat at a value price. Its so similar to the Britax seat that is $279, I only had to sacrifice a print on the seat cover to get almost the same quality.
We love the Graco My Ride 65

This seat just arrived today, and I couldn't be happier with it already! I was nervous as I had read some reviews that said it was hard to install, but rethreading the harness (with two toddlers crawling in and out of the seat) and installing in it my Jeep took less than 15 minutes. It was so easy I was afraid I did something wrong. It looks and feels super comfortable. Can't wait to purchase a second one for his twin.

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
I bought this carseat for my 9 month old daughter who had outgrown her infant carseat. What I liked about the My Ride 65 was that it allows me to keep my daughter in the rear-facing position for up to 40 lbs (or until she reaches the height limit). I also liked how comfy and deep the seat is, protecting her arms, legs, torso, neck and head from side impacts. This is a very sturdy seat and was fairly easy to install. It fit in the middle of the backseat on my Chevy Malibu without a problem. The only (small) issue I have with the carseat is that the straps get tangled easily, but I don't mind taking a minute or two to fix them. My daughter is comfortable in her new carseat, and I feel better knowing she is in a safe and sturdy carseat. I would really recommend this carseat to everyone.

We love this seat!! My cute son loves the built-in cupholders!! He puts his toys in there for now! I like the fact that rear or front facing they will always be on the correct side. In the past we have had seats where the cupholders would get hit by the door or they would be in the passengers lap! This set up is great! My son is safe and secure in his awesome seat!

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
The built-in cup holders are great for drinks, snacks, and small toys. They are easy to reach, easy to clean, and just the right size. They are the best I have seen for any car seat.
My son just turned two and had been forward facing for the past seven months. After reading the latest safety recommendations, we felt it important to buy a new seat and to swing him around to rear facing again. This seat made the transition easy. He fussed the first time, but has been happy since then. It sits up high so he can still see out the windows, see his big sister next to him, and we put the infant seat-back mirror up again so we can see him. The built in cup holders made the transition easier too as I will no longer be able to reach back to hand him a toy or drink.
The fabric does slip off the sides a little, but it does not affect product usage. It is a minor problem that seems to affect all Graco car seats. I don't think it is serious enough to cause someone not to buy this seat. The fabric is high quality and durable.
Bottom Line: I feel much better knowing my son can ride rear facing up to 40lbs and then will still be able to use the harness up to 65lbs. We have not owned it very long, but I feel it was a good buy. By the way, his 5 1/2 year old sister fits comfortably in it too and is begging to get rid of her Britax Marathon. She wants the one with the built in storage too!
So far so good

I like this car seat. I actually have the Britax also for my husband's car. They are both good. I had read reviews that the seat material looked cheap on the Graco. I would have to agree that the black part isn't the best fabric but I can deal with it. I like the fact that it has cup holders vs. the Britax. I bought it because it was rear facing until 40 pounds, but I am now realizing that my son (who is on the larger size) will probably be too long before he reaches 40 pounds and have to turn the seat around anyways.

My grandson and I love this seat! He just moved from his infant carrier to a "big boy" seat. Easy installation, easy to loosen and tighten the harness straps. The cupholders are great for his toys. Seems well padded for comfort. I will mention if your child is still rear-facing, it may not work in a small car. I was unable to use this in my Volkswagon Beetle as rear-facing (don't know about forward-facing as I didn't try it that way.) It fits great in a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Chevy Silverado Quad Cab truck.
Very Large Car Seat

Comments about Graco MyRIDE 65 Convertible Car Seat Edgemont Dots:
This is the biggest car seat I've ever seen. We only used a forward facing convertible seat for my first child, so when the box came with the MyRIDE 65, I was a bit shocked. The seat didn't fit in my in-law's Prius or MDX, the vehicles it was intended for installation. I also don't think it would fit in my husband's WRX, though we didn't actually try installing it in there. It fits fine in my Accord, and I actually really like it. It's comfortable for my large, 5 month old and easy to get him in and out. However, its not made for every model car or SUV on the market.

i love this seat for so many reasons! its a breeze to put in! you never will have to rethread the latch system since it has its own latch for rear facing and forward facing! this seat has a lot of growing room. i have read other reviews about the harness being too short. its not if you read the directions that come with it, you will learn that you have to adjust the loops on the harness with the spliter plate on the back, super simple to do! easy to tighten and loosen the harness. my two year old still rides rear facing and he has a ton of room left for growing. i like the idea that he can be in this until he hits 65 lbs unless he out grows it in height. my seat is a different color but he already split some juice on the seat cover. its easy to take off and wash. i liked it when he splilled his drink and the top stayed dry to the touch. i am very happy with my new seat. i had him in the cosco alpha mega until i found this seat. this seat is the only seat (so far) that is 40 lbs for rear facing. keep your babies rear facing as long as possible its 5x safer!

We love this car seat!!!!!! My son is so comfortable and it is very sturdy and durable. It feels good that we will be able to have him rear facing for a while longer. The harness system is also really easy to unclick once you figure it out. The buckle over his chest has to be aligned to unsnap. We have an old Rav 4 and it fits perfectly in it, with more room than the infant seat! Don't be deceived by the size.
