Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
I wanted this pack n play because of the napper and boy was I right. My little man sleeps so well in it I don't know what we would do without it. We have only used the changing table a few times since like in the other reviews it's not supported good and he rolls to the center(boy does that make him mad)! Ultimately I am very pleased so far with this pack n play we will see how well I like it as he grows being right now he is just 5 weeks.

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
Our baby slept in the bassinet for the first month we had him home with us. The pack n play was the perfect size to scoot next to our bed for easy access to him!
Once he was sleeping in his crib at night, we used this pack n play in our living room for diaper changes and naps. My son LOVED the napper when he was little. It was so cozy for him and he loved the vibrations. I do wish the timer on the vibrations and music was a bit longer as I would have to continuously restart it so he would stay asleep. I agree with others; the changing area is not supported enough on two of the corners so my baby rolls to one side during diaper changes. We ended up placing rolled up receiving blankets below those two corners to stabilize it.
I like how easy this is to travel with. We have used it for overnight stays and it is great for that.
Overall, this is a very useful product. I am glad we have it!
Amazing! Great Investment by far!!!!

We're very happy with this product! It took my husband (contractor) and dad (engineer) 30 minutes to assemble it the first time but now it only takes a few minutes to take it down/set it back up when traveling. We never had a problem with our baby rolling to the side on the changing table... my only guess is that some people aren't installing it properly. In fact, the changing station was more useful than I expected it to be. The newborn napper is outstanding. Our baby loved being nestled in it for sleeping and the vibration was very soothing. I really struggled with whether or not to buy a bassinet for our bedroom and I'm so glad that I went with this instead in terms of practicality and longevity. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

We have been using this since we brought our baby home from the hospital and we LOVE it. The newborn napper has got to be one of the best inventions for tiny babies ever. He loves sleeping in it and it keeps him from turning on his side. It is nice and warm too.
We use the changing table part to hold his diapers, change of clothes, wipes, and any other thing we may need when changing his diaper. We just do the actual changing on our bed on a table. Works wonderfully that way!!!!!
A VERY HANDY PRODUCT!!!!!

I really like this pack 'n play. My daughter however, did not like the napper at all. So that was pretty useless for me. But she has slept very well on the bassinet part for the past 8 weeks. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the changer isn't study and my daughter does roll towards a side, but it doesn't take that long to change her diaper so i think that it's just fine. We have traveled with it a lot, but have not brought the changer or bassinet because there are no where for those parts to go & you really don't need them. They are just nice to have.

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
For our newborn this pack n play is simply a nightmare. This is why; The changing station is extremely poorly designed. It is not properly supported on the crib and when you put your baby on it your baby will be laying on its side because there is not enuff support on all 4 corners. If you want to buy something only to take it home and have to modify and work on it then buy this piece of junk. This product is the ultimate in FAILURE!!! I am one disapointed Dad trying to change my baby while it lies on its side is terrible. Once I modified the product it is ok. Also there is not enough storage for the things you need. But you can find better products 30 to 50 bucks cheaper.

My husband and I love this product! The baby loves the napper aspect of it although he is just about growing out of it. The only down fall to this item which is a flaw I hope Graco considers in newer models...the changing area leans in and baby rolls to one side which makes for a very difficult diaper change. We rolled a receiving blanket to try to eliminate the baby rolling.

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
I chose this playard after reading several good reviews regarding the newborn napper. Since my husband was going to be overseas when our baby was born, I had already decided that our son would be sleeping in my room for the first couple of months and liked the idea of a soft, fuzzy napper.
During the first 3 months, the napper (unless in my lap) was the only place my son would sleep soundly, both during naps and at night. I loved it at night because it was easy to get him up for feedings and it made me feel better that he was on his back. He seemed to like the security and warmth it provided (he was born in Oct). When he started turning on his side, I moved him to his crib, but would still use the napper when he had colds because the slight incline seemed to help him sleep better (and I liked having him in my room). I can honestly say that I used the napper until he outgrew it!
My son didn't seem to care about the songs or sounds one way or the other, but did seem to like the vibration when it was set on low in the napper. It made too much noise when it was set up in the actual playard. The nightlight was good for me because it provided just enough light for me to peak in on him, but not enough to keep him awake. Once he stopped using the napper, it disconnected everything---just one more thing that needed batteries!
Once he became an independent sitter, I started using the playard to keep him safe while I was doing chores, in the shower, etc. and we are always taking it with us on trips. It folds up and sets up easy and is smaller than several other styles I've seen--though buyers should be aware that neither the napper or changing table are portable! Would have lovecd it if there were a way to make the napper fold up, too!
I would have given it 5 stars, but the changing table was pretty much useless after about a month--it's not supported on one side, so our son would just roll to the edge and get really mad. ma
decent pnp, not special tho

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
This pack n play is nothing special. It is just functional. I wasn't thrilled with the pattern, but it was the best option that's out currently. I read several reviews that said the diaper changer was slanting with their babies; I thought 'I have a premie who is 5 pounds- it won't happen to me.' I was WRONG. She is 5 lbs and always rolls towards the inside of the pnp when on the diaper changer. There is just not enough support for it to hold a baby up.
I really wanted the newborn napper, but it was a waste really. Not as useful as I imagined it would be. I feel like it's hot for the baby and it forces them to sleep in one position and I like to turn my baby on various sides.
The WORST part has actually been the music/vibration. The side machine that turns the vib/music/light on does NOT work! I have taken it back to the store twice (now I am just getting a different brand of pnp).
I would not recommend this product or the others that are like it to any other parent.
So far its great!

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
I'm using this on the first floor of my house, and it has been great. I had a c-section and couldn't go up and down the steps to his nursery during the first few weeks. This was a great help for changing diapers and for nap time during the day when we were downstairs. He even slept in the newborn napper his first few nights home since Mom slept downstairs.
Really liked the newborn napper - my son used it a lot during the first 6 weeks. Unfortunately, he is already outgrowing it. I'll be very sad when we have to take it out in the next few days. But I'm glad the electronics part will attach to the bassinet too so that we can still use the vibrating part for him.
Overall, we love it! (The colors are great too!)

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
The colors are nice, they don't scream baby. I also liked the changing pad and bassinet feature, unlike other reviews I have not seen the changing pad lean toward the middle. The pad is also super easy to remove from the pack N Play. I do not see taking the time to break this thing down and move it to other rooms or take it out of the house. It wasn't rocket science to set up but it certainly isn't easy like to lug around like a stroller.

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
This pack n play was fantastic! I'm a first time mom and decided to go with the pack n play that had the newborn napper. This was probably one of my best investments of baby equipment. Our little guy slept in the napper until he was about 8 weeks. Yes, the changing table was a little slanted, but we took it out at 8 weeks along with the napper since he weighed more. He just sleeps in the bassinet now. We will keep him in the bassinet in our room until he hits 3 months, and then he will go to his crib. The newborn napper was great because it took a lot of worry from me knowing that he was safe, comfortable, and wasn't going to roll over at night. We also used the vibration and sound options the first few weeks. It would have rated it 5 stars, but there wasn't much padding in the bassinet. We use a sleep positioner and I bought a quilted play pen sheet to help give it more cushion. I'm so glad that I purchased this pack n play, rather than a bassinet and a separate play pen- it saved us the space and money. We plan to use it when we travel and hopefully till he is 2, or till we have another one.

Baby loves it. Baby loves that it vibrates. The newborn sleeper and the changing station are useless. The baby slides to the unsupported side of the changing station. Also the newborn sleeper is unsafe since to prevent SIDS, babies require a firm and flat surface. They are removable though.

This product is absolutely wonderful! We loved the newborn napper when my son was first born, especially the vibrations & the sounds which helped him fall asleep. We really love the fact that although he no longer uses the napper, we can still utilize the sounds & vibrations with the bassinet. The changing table has been life saver, as we use it in our downstairs where he spends the majority of his time, & we have had absolutely NO issues with sagging to the side, and our son is over 13 lbs. All in all a wonderful product!

This this is a [*]! The instructions say the only place the changer and the napper can be are on the opposite end of the music control. Hello, there is only one place for the changer and napper, and it is at the same end the music control is mounted. The instructions are horrid. The tubes don't fit into the napper. Worst part, the spring that fastens the tubes together, got pushed back into the tub, and we couldn't get it out. Whomever designed this product was a complete MORON. Never buying another Graco product again. I'm a little agrovated [...] Lame.

Ok I bought this item before my little girl was born and when she was a new born till the present she has been sleeping in the newborn napper and she love it! The only problem I found was when I tried to use the vibrating feature again after it ran out of batteries the first time, the vibrating item would not work and it still doesn't. I am very upset because that was the best feature about it in the beginning. Hope noone else has that problem. Also I dislike the changing table because it is slanted and when I try to change her diaper she rolls over.

We selected this play yard because it created essentially a mini nursery in our room for our newborn. We wanted her close, but didn't want to buy a play yard AND a bassinet AND an extra changing table. This 3-in-1 is great. She sleeps soundly and happily in the built in bassinet/sleeper and the changing table is super convenient, even down to the snap on diaper bag.

My son is one month old and so far we like this. He has slept in the snuggler every night beside my bed. Yes, the changing table does slope a little, but it's not a huge issue. We use the changing table probably 10 times a day, it's a life saver as the nursery is upstairs. Also it's safe to leave him laying in for a moment while I wash my hands after changing him since it has sides on it. I could not do that with my fancy changing table as it's flat. Love the music feature also. Havent tried the vibration, as he hasn't needed it. Poor instructions for assembly though.

I got this as a shower gift and my son has slept in it from the day we got home from the hospital. The napper/ sleeper is the best thing ever, I love how soft and comfy it feels and so does my baby. He is 7 weeks old and still sleeps in it everynight. We had to put an extra blanket down at first bevause he was so small it didnt cuddle him. Now we just wrap him up and stick him in there and he is good to go.
Set up was easy, I did it in about 20 min the day we got home from the hospital. It is a good size and fits right next to my bed.
The changing table was good until he got to be 8 lbs then it would tilt to the left and my son would roll. (that wasnt good when he was there without a diaper on, however it is easy to clean with a wipe)
I would buy this again just for the sleeper. it is a life saver. :)

Love this pack n play. Love the baby bassinette inside also. My baby was a bit tiny so the bassinette works great until she is big enough to sleep in the main bed. The changing table is good also. Not sure why people complain about it but I guess they need something to complain about. The only down thing for me is that I wish the bassinette would attach and detach a little easier for me to take around the house and put on my bed. Once it's on the pack n play it's a bit difficult to remove and put back on. But not an issue. would recommend this product

I am planning on using this when my son is first born instead of a bassinet. I was very excited about the vibration and lights and sounds. The newborn napper seems nice but not really sure I will use it or not. It is a little difficult to attach/detach. Not sure if it will actually be safe for him to sleep in. I do like that it can also have the vibration. That will make traveling easier as I won't have to pack his bouncy seat also.
The pack n play is very easy to set up and I like the changer!

We use the newborn napper and the changing station daily in our living room. It is a safe place for our baby to rest, especially the first few weeks. The only thing I didn't like was that the vibration seems to be a little to much for my baby even on the lowest setting when attached to the napper.
bad changing table
05/17/2010 by super mom, kansas city, missouri
Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
We have a split level home so this purchase was absolutely necessary. However, the changing table is not very good. After 2 months of use, the changing table has started to bend in, so every time we go to change a diaper our baby rolls down to the inside of the table, making it a bit challenging to change diapers. We've had to rig the thing so it stays up. The table also isn't padded very well. When our baby kicks her heels thump on the hard wood just under the surface of the pad. Had to use the mattress from our snuggle nest to make it softer. Also, the music/vibrating piece that comes with it isn't the greatest. It doesn't play the music loud enough to hear.
Very functional

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
i'm about average height 5' 3" and i had to have a c-section it was difficult to change my son the first week on the changing pad attached to the pack n play. also another thing with the changing pad is he would slide into the side of the changing pad towards the center of the packing play so it doesn't keep him center & he would get frustrated slipping. he loves the newborn napper how it does snuggle him. the first few nights he didn't enjoy it much but now at 2 months old loves it in there, unfortunately that part doesn't hold anymore than 15lbs and he's already 12lbs
i just wouldn't recommend this to a friend because of the fact that the changing table is not very well constructed and wish i would have looked more into that before purchasing this product.

Over all, I love this Pack 'n Play! The bassionette was perfect when we first brought our son home because I didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars on one that we'd use for just a few months. After he grew out of it, we took it off and he is still sleeping on the top level. It is so easy to pack up and take on the road too. My only beef with this Pack 'n Play is the changing table. Our son was no quite 5 lbs when we brought him home and the changing table couldn't even hold that much weight without bending to the center and sending him rolling. Fix it or get rid of it all together.

My son LOVES the newborn napper. I actually spend many nights on my couch because he perfers to sleep there vs. anywhere else. The changing table is super helpful, but there is the issue of lack of support on one side. I've been using a rolled up recieving blanket to even it out and keep him from rolling. Assembly is not easy either, but despite all of this, I dont know what I would do without this product - I have a "nursery" in my living room and dont have to go up and down stairs all day.
Design Flaws

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
I got this pack n play in the Lowery pattern.
Pros: This pack n play is okay for the first month when your child is light. It is pretty easy to take apart.
Cons: When my child started getting heavier, around 6lbs+, I noticed the mat started to sag in the center. The changing table is supported only on one side so the baby tends to roll to the unsupported end in an uncomfortable angle. The speakers for the sound feature is so soft, you can barely tell that it is on. The diaper holder on the side seems to be designed so you could put a tub of wipes on the top portion but there is not enough support so that sag as well.
We returned it

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
This product looks really nice which is why I decided to get it. I took me a while to put it together, almost an hour. The reason we decided to return it is because we used the changing table often and there is no support on one side. My son would roll to the side without support and we really didn't like that. It wasn't a problem in the beginning but once he was about 10 lbs which was at one month we began having this problem. My mom had a pack and play from another brand that the changing table was much more stable. The newborn napper was a nice idea but my son didn't like it and wouldn't stay in it for more than 5 minutes.

Got this model for the changing station and napper, for my newborn. My daughter hates the napper, which really bummed me out, I would love to crawl in it and take a nap! The changing station is the worst part though. It is really flimsy, and tilts, especially when I put the baby down to change her. I will get more usage out of the Pack n Play when she's older, but for now the two items I really was looking forward to aren't useful at all. And one of them is a safety hazard (baby rolls into the corner).
Amazing!

We have this set up in the first floor playroom and use it throughout the day as a changing table and crib. The bassinett and changing components to this item are fantastic. It has saved us from having to keep a bunch of baby items in the living room. Our son falls fast asleep in the bassinett part. The changing table is a little cold, so we use fabric changing pads to avoid a shock. The design matches the play room perfectly and is very stylish. It was also easy to put together.

My daughter slept so well in the "napper" which used to be called the "snuggler" when she was very young. We loved it because it was soft and warm and she was on her back. We love this Pack 'n Play. We got it instead of a bassinet when we brought our son home from the hospital and use it in our room. It is really sturdy and he sleeps very well in it. We don't use the changing table however the bassinet/napper is so nice. We don't let him sleep in the napper at night but during the day when I can monitor him I put him in it and he sleeps for hours. The napper snuggles him in (like he is being held)and vibration is calming and it puts him to sleep. I love love love this pack 'n play.

Wow! i love this. i wasnt sure what to register for and kept switching my registry around. i am soooo glad i got this one. The napper is great. My son still fits in it and he is 2 months. He will out grow by 3 months but i was expecting that. the holder for diapers and wipes was great. The motion/music piece for the napper is removable so we were able to move it to his craddle. it helped him fall asleep. We love this and was worth more than what we paid:)
Lots of features

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
My son is not here yet, so the pack n play hasn't had actual use yet. The main part is simple to fold open. I have an 8 year old and nephews, so I knew how to do this already. When it came to putting the other things together, it was a little difficult. Directions are a little hard to understand. After about 45 minutes, got it all figured out. The changing table doesnt seem that sturdy, so I am a little weary about using it. But I will see how that works, once my son is here. The napper looks comfy. The electronic module takes 3 AA batteries and the other unit a D battery. I dont see using it that much because its not very loud and the vibration feature on it doesnt seem to work. It kind of seems useless to have. Overall I think its a nice product and will probably get much use inside my home. As far as traveling with it, I would probably just take the main part of it with me. Its too much work to dis-assemble and re-assemble all the add-ons that come with it.
Very Useful

This is our most used baby item! When our daughter came home premature, it was vital for us to sleep next to her. The newborn napper was comfortable for her, plus the lights and music helped mimic the constant sounds she was used to from the NICU - which helped her sleep. The height is also great, putting her level with our queen size bed. Slightly difficult to set up, but that's the only con.
Love It

The newborn napper on this pack n play makes the whole purchase worth it! My baby loves the napper and sleeps easily in it. Sometimes he sleeps in it all night. It is warm and comfortable and vibrates at two different speed with an auto shut off. The hood above it is great for keeping the light out of his eyes when he's trying to sleep and we are trying to read. We keep it in our family room where it blends nicely with our decor and allows us to perform diaper changes without having to go all the way up to nursery or use our furniture. Do not use the music but we may as he gets older, he's only 1 month. Great purchase, best baby furniture we bought.
My Favorite Baby Product!

When I bought this it was brand new so there were no reviews. I usually don't buy anything without reading reviews, but this was the best purchase! My son is three months old and still sleeps in the newborn napper and he sleeps all night long most nights. It's the perfect size! He has acid reflux so napper is great for making sure he doesn't lay flat. He loves the vibration in it! The only cons are, the batteries don't last for very long, BUT we use the vibration option a lot so I won't complain too much about that. The volume could be a tad bit louder on the music also. I would buy this purchase again and absolutely recommend it to friends!
Out grew quickly

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
We purchased this product to use as a bassinet for the baby to sleep in our room for the first 3 months. The napper was my favorite part of it, however our daughter out grew it in not even 3 weeks and when she did sleep in it she would slide down until she was scrunched at the bottom of it. She did love it though, she would fall asleep very quickly in it compared to bassinet. My husband loved the fact that it had the changing table, but yet again our daughter quickly out grew it. Since the changer is only supported by 2 legs it sags a lot, it's better used with a newborn. Those are the only things I found wrong with it, funny thing is those features were the main reasons we purchased this particular product in the first place. So we were a little let down.

We LOVE this pack 'n play. We actually registered for a different one but someone accidentally bought this one instead.
We used the infant napper as a bassinette when we brought baby home and she slept there for the first month. We then used the actual bassinette feature until last week when she got too heavy for it.
The changing table attachment is fantastic for travel. We leave this set up at my parent's house for our Sunday visits and we have everything we need right there with it.
It's easy to fold up and get back into the package. Of course, not EVERYTHING fits inside, but the basics do and that's what matters most.
Love this product!

Warning on SIDS!!!!!!

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
Okay our little jacksnapper isnt born quite yet (4 weeks to go) but my husband and I took a babysaver class yesterday and SIDS was a huge topic and they (the hospital and doctors) strongly recommend babies be flat on their back on a firm mattress with NOTHING in the crib. Well we have this product and wondered about the napper part. So we asked the instructor after the class what she thought, and she said it doesn't sound good, but call the SIDS line. So we called when we got home and sure enough the lady said and I quote "if the baby were to turn his head would he be breathing in the same air he just blew out" well the napper is sunken in and there really isnt much room for breathing room. So for the sake of reducing a tragedy we have taken off the napper part. I am sure we will be really happy with the product but I would strongly recommend taking the napper part off. But call the SIDS line if you want to know for sure!
Pretty awesome item

My newborn infant LOVES to sleep in the napper portion. She actually sleeps better in this than she does in her crib. I love the look and feel of this pack and play. The only draw back I'm finding, is that the changing station seems to tilt to the side when changing her diaper. With that being said - my baby's face is smushed up against the side. Since I am in no position to try to exchange this, I found a way around it. I roll up a receiving blanket and place it in between my baby the side of the of the changing pad. This keeps her face free.

We love our pack n play for our little girl. We keep this in our living room. The best thing on it has to be the newborn napper feature! Our daughter loves it. The vibration & soothing sounds put her to sleep & keep her content. She is almost 5 weeks old & naps in there freqently thru the day. We don't use the changing feature simply because we're centrally located with all our baby gear on the first floor, so we just utilize the napper & bassinet for now. Definitely feel the napper makes this pack n play what it is & the price isn't horrible either.

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
My newborn son loves the newborn napper, we get a lot of usage out of this feature. The colors are attractive and gender neutral. My only complaint is that the changing table is somewhat flimsy, my son rolls to one side due to the incline. Also, the height of the changing table makes changing his diaper very hard on my back. But overall it's a nice product and gets the job done efficiently.
Great Pack and Play!

This is a really nice pack and play and it has been very useful for our 2 week old infant. It was very difficult to set up, but once we got it set up, I really like it. The only other thing that I do not like is that the bassinet kind of sinks down in, it's not a flat hard surface like the experts say you should put your baby on. We ended up propping up pillows underneath the bassinet so that he doesn't sink in so much while sleeping in it. He really likes the fleece fabric and sleeps soundly in the bassinet!
Great Decision!

Comments about Graco Pack n Play with Newborn Napper Hamilton:
I bought this product for our first son to sleep in while he was still in our room. I liked the fact that the changing table was attached and that there was a bassinet feature, along with a newborn napper. However I was very disappointed. The vibrating/music feature never worked, and the worst part was the changing table. I read this in the reviews and it's so true, the changing table leans. I thought I could get past it but I ended up not being able to use it because of that. I returned it to the store for a Chicco brand play yard. It's the same set up minus the newborn napper and the changing table has a bar on the other side that prevents it from leaning. Would not recommend this product.

We are using this in place of a bassinet in the bedroom. Love that there are options with the napper and bassinet. Love the accessories, no need to change baby on bed or in other room in the middle of the night. Everything is right there. Also like that it is gender neutral, so can use again if we have a girl or boy.

This is used in our bedroom as his bassinet until he's big enough to go to his crib. It's perfect with the napper & Changing pad. Once he's bigger I will use this as a play pin, etc
Only downfall were the instructions.. is it just me or do they purposely make all infant furniture difficult to put together for a tired pregnant mother??? so it only gets 4**** for frustration.
