We use the seat for my 6 year old son. He really loves it because it makes him seem taller and he can therefore see more of what's going on outside. Also it has great cushion which he describes as "really soft" This is important because in his previous seat he complained a lot about feeling uncomfortable on long trips. I was initially concerned because the belt now sits across his lap instead of his waist, but according to the manufacturer this is to prevent him from sliding under the belt in an accident.

I'm very happy with this booster. My son who is almost 8 was ready for a backless booster, however we own a Nissan Xterra and every other seat we considered didn't make him high enough that the seat belt would fit comfortably or correctly across his chest. This seat however, being 3 inches taller than the others (Evenflo, Graco, etc.) has worked out great. In addition, it's the only backless booster I found that includes a shoulder belt positioner, so we've been able to attach that and the seat belt is in the perfect spot. I would definitely recommend this seat, as it is also quite cushioned and is extra wide so my son has plenty of room to grow with it. Finally, you can't beat the price! I even got it for only [$] because I had a 20% off coupon. You can't beat it!

Excellent booster for kids who have vehicle head support and have outgrown other, high back booster seats. High back boosters are 70% safer in side impact crashes, and should be used until outgrown. Backless boosters are great for big kids who have outgrown high back boosters, but don't yet properly fit into the seat belt without a booster. I bought this for my own daughter who at 9.5 years just moved out of a high back booster because she outgrew the back, and we passed it onto her sister. We haven't been disappointed. It helps position the lap belt on her thighs, touching her hips which is the ideal placement for the lapbelt, it helps prevent Seat Belt Syndrome or abdominal injuries as a result of improper belt fit. It's comfortable, easy to use, and because she is a big kid, she doesn't need the adjuster strap, the shoulder belt fits great without it.

The kids were psyched to move out of the 5-point harness confining car-seats that they've been in from infants (convertibles).... so was I! We were all tired of me needing to assist in the buckle and unbuckle.
The solid bottom saves the car's upholstery. Hollow ones indent & rub it's edges. This seat is comfy for them and the red part that lowers the seatbelt to shoulder level makes the top part fit right, even though it is hard to adjust. The problem is that the lap belt goes across legs instead of hips which makes me worry about it's safety.
PS. Good price though.

We bought 2 of these for my daughters and they both loved them! However they are very bulky compared to other brands so if you have a small car they don't seem to fit as well. We ended up having to return them because we have 3 children in car seats in the back seat so they didn't fit. The kids loved how comfortable they were! They are great for older kids!

I bought Turbo Boosters for my boys, and didn't like how uncomfortable they seemed. I saw these at Toys R Us, and had a gift card, so I thought I would buy one and give it a try. My older son liked it much more than his TB, and my younger son asked for one too! The colors are much nicer looking in person. The green is brighter.

This is a nice, wide seat that is inexpensive and fits older kids well. As for the reviewer that stated this seat made the belt rest on the child's legs, that is a GOOD THING!! You WANT the seat belt on the child's thighs, not on their abdomen!

Purchased this product yesterday for my 5 year old. This is perfect for her! Comfortable, not flimsy or narrow like the Graco boosters. The other booster seats slid around on my leather seats, but not this one. I just can't believe the price! You can't get anything for this inexpensive anymore and actually expect it to be worth it. A must have!

My 8-year old (9 in Aug) has about 4" to grow until he reaches 4ft9". His backless turbobooster is expired, and since I do car seat recycling, I thought I'd practice what I preach. For under [$], this seat is great! Much softer than the TB. For a child at least age 6, this is a great option.

I thought it was a great product for the price and it had great padding however when I put my daughter in it the lap belt laid on her legs instead of her lap and honestly I felt that she would have been safer on a stack of pillows. I ended up having to take it back

We bought a couple of these units for a recent trip in florida (much cheaper to buy than rent from a car rental place). I can not tell you how fantastic they are. Incredible value for the money. When we go back to florida in January, we will buy two more and leave them behind again.

I was so excited when I found this for my 6 year old who is 44 lbs. and 45" tall. It seemed to have much more padding than other boosters. Unfortunately, when I put him in it (even though he is small for his age and much below the height and weight limits) his head was above the seat in my Honda Odyssey. The instructions say not to use if the middle of the head is above the seat. I had to take it back....

this backless booster is sturdy & comfortable. perfect for big kids 6yo+ - as backless boosters are appropriate for that age group.
the arm rests position the lap belt nice & low over the thighs - the ideal placement of a lap belt. hence the name "lap"

Outstanding quality - love the seat, would have paid double for it! Great fabric, great cushioning!
My downside was that my child seemed to be too small. She s 36 pounds, and 40 inches tall, within the mfg range, however when she sat in the seat and put the seatbelt on, the arms on the booster pushed the lap part of the seatbelt so far foward that it went over her legs, not her lap/hips. The shoulder belt fit perfectly. She was very comfortable in the booster, but I just couldn't let her ride around with the lap belt down on her upper thighs! This would be a great seat when a child is bigger, or at least not as thin as my 36 pounder - if her hips/toosh was thicker this would be a wonderful seat. I am planning to buy/try it again when she's older.
