i used the wrap to carry my second baby after using the ultimate baby wrap for my first. i like them both. the hotsling folds down smaller and is easier to put on. the baby rides comfortably in all positions. my baby is particularly big and i am small, but we still could make it work. once the baby is bigger it becomes more apparent that all his/her weight rides on your one shoulder, which might determine how long you use the wrap. for me it was great for the first few month while baby is small and rides cradled, the hip position is ok for short times. the more weight the better to disperse some to your hips with another wrap. love this for the first four months, my baby is now 19.2 lbs and 27inches!

I used it once for my newborn and she didnt like it. Maybe because she was so small, the fabric went over her head and it doesnt feel comfortable on me as well.
