My baby can't sit steady, so I use this to carry baby and go grocery shopping. The baby is 18 lb and I'm 120 lb. After each time of shopping, my shoulder hurts a lot. But at least it allows me to do shopping with the baby.
The bigger problem happened when my husband wanted to try to carry baby. He's bigger than me, so the straps needed to adjust. Then we found it's very very difficult to adjust the straps. Only after one adjustment, he refused to do the adjustment anymore. So now the options are either only I carry the baby, or we need to find another carrier which is more convenient to adjust the strap.
Finally found one that works for me

I bought and returned 4 carriers before this one and I am so happy I kept looking until this one popped up. It took a while to get the straps perfect but once I did, I knew this was a great carrier. My son enjoys being in it and I don't mind wearing it at all. It fits nicely and I feel like my son is very secure in it. My shoulders and back haven't hurt at all either and I've worn it quite a bit so far for about a max of 1 hour at a time. I think latching the back buckle at the shoulders would be hard for some people to do although I have no trouble reaching it myself. I just think some people may need someone else to help them hook it and I wouldn't like having to get help to put on the baby carrier--especially if it was just me and the baby out together. Just something to consider if you can't get both hands behind your back up to your shoulders to hook that together.

What a Big Let Down!

Comments about Infantino Front 2 Back Infant Carrier:
Out of extreme necessity...I had purchased the cheaper model of the Infantino carrier, which I found was a Godsend @ half the price. The cheaper model work incredibly at soothing my 2 month old, so I could have the freedom to use my hands. However, the only drawback to the product was that it wasn't comfortable to wear for very long periods, because the shoulder straps would pull down in the front with the baby's weight. Since my shoulders were hurting with wear, I figured that though amazing this carrier wouldn't have much longevity. So with research, I decided to upgrade...
The memory foam straps are so much more comfortable for me. But as for my 2 month old, he doesn't find it so comfortable. The reason for this is because the flap for the head support isn't adjustable. Facing inward is very restrictive and when buckled it pulls his head into my chest. This is my one major compliant because if my baby boy's not happy...I have to hear it. My expectations were so high because of the previous Infantino carrier, but I was very disappointed by this upgrade.

My first grandson turned out to be a lot bigger and heavier than my two girls. I struggle to hold him for any prolonged period of time. I remember the original baby carriers of 30 yrs ago that cut into your shoulders or strained your back....the Infantino allows me to carry him, water my garden or go on long walks without the body strain. Only one criticism....the velcro on each side of the carrier always wake him up when he's asleep and I have to take him out. Can someone invent silent velcro? Other than that.....a great back saver at a better than great price!

My daughter is growing at a rapid rate so I won't be using it long. It is a great product and a good value so I would recommend it. My daughter doesn't seem to like being in it though, so I'm not sure how comfortable it is for her.

Comments about Infantino Front 2 Back Infant Carrier:
I used a moby wrap for the first 3 months and LOVED it, but summer in the desert - too hot for that. My baby weighed 12lbs when I started using this, but right away it hurt my back - make sure everything is adjusted to fit snug - I think that's the problem. My baby 24.5 inches long, likes to see out on the sides, even when she is facing in, but the side things in the front snap so high that they cover her face, and she ends up sucking on all the parts because they're just right in her face. When she's facing out, I find myself walking around pulling down on that front flap so it's not over her mouth, but she still sucks on it and it's soaking wet when I take it off, every time - even when I try to put a cloth or her bib over it. I also struggle trying to snap the little top buckle in the back by myself. I've had to ask strangers for help. I bought this because of the price and reviews, and will use it because I have it, but I have a feeling there is something out there better.

I am very pleased with the product. It is easy to get my 2 month old in and out all by myself. She will almost instantly fall a sleep as soon as I place her in it and walk around. This allows me to get stuff done around the house. I am looking forward to her getting bigger and being able to put her in facing forward so she can look around.

Comments about Infantino Front 2 Back Infant Carrier:
I have had an infant carrier before (made by "Evenflo") with my last 2 children and loved it. I didn't expect to need it anymore so I gave it to my sister. Well, low and behold, I am preggo with my 6th and I saw the "Infantino - Front 2 Back Infant Carrier." It looked very nice so I thought I would try it out. I liked the memory foam padding and it was put together well. I just didn't like the adjustments. I think there are too many and the straps are wide - making it difficult to adjust. See, my husband and I like to take turns carrying our children when they are small and it is ideal for us to have something that we can adjust quickly to fit correctly. So, I am going to exchange this one for one of "Evenflo's" products. However, this is a nice product for someone who has never used "Evenflo's" infant carriers.

It takes a little time to get it adjusted in the first place, but once you get a feel for how it works, it's a piece of cake. I do plan, however, to purchase a second one for my husband so it can be setup for him.

Great Carrier, Great Value

Comments about Infantino Front 2 Back Infant Carrier:
I have been shopping for infant carriers for a while and was surprised at how expensive they were. That's why I was glad I found the Infantino carrier. My 3 month old daughter loves to ride around with me while I do household chores or go for a walk around the neighborhood. She is very comfortable and secure. The carrier is as comfortable as it can be, but let's face it, when you're packing around an extra 12+ pounds in front of you, it puts a strain on the old back. The lumbar strap is helpful to relieve the strain and the design is very ergonomic. Warning: Getting the straps adusted is a pain so don't try to do it yourself. Put on the carrier and have someone else fit it to your body, and don't attempt to put the baby in until it is fitted properly. After you get it adjusted, it is a breeze to take on and off. I would recommend this carrier to any new mom!

so i decided to get one of these instead of trekking around a stroller everywhere, i had a $100 gift card to babysrus but didn't feel like using it on a $80 carrier, so i got this instead. it's perfect, easy to use, comfy for my baby, has a little removable cloth to protect my shirt in case he spits up, took it out and used it right away. love it! my son just slept in it the whole time, he must like it too, cause he wont even sleep in his crib.

I have a 9mts old who's weight is 21lbs. Product was uncomfortable for my baby & myself. Would probably be better for babies under 9mts who are not quite at the active stage. Very restrictive for the baby.

I really like this carrier. It is very easy to get the baby in and out by myself, and very comfortable on. It took a time or two to figure out how to make the straps the right length, but now it goes on and off without a hitch. I also really like that it can turn into a backpack carrier making it usable for much longer than most carriers. My one month old loves being toted around the house in this. :)
Best Gift for New Parents

Comments about Infantino Front 2 Back Infant Carrier:
We purchased this gift for friends of ours who are new parents. The new father complained that most carriers were "girly" and not comfortable for the height/weight of a man. We found this carrier and purchased it for him and he absolutely loves it. He's well over 6 feet tall and this is the perfect carrier for him and his new baby. She snuggles up so comfortably in it, and Daddy finds it very comfortable to wear.

I couldn't believe the ease at which I was able to use this infant carrier, and comfortably for hours at a time. They really got it right with the memory foam padding. My newborn slept through all the errands I had to run, comfortable resting tummy to tummy with mommy.

It's really very comfortable, once you get it adjusted. That's a bit of a struggle, and at first putting this on is definitely a two person job, but it was worth it. My daughter was so snug and comfortable she just crashed. It made shopping so much easier.
