I only used this product about 3 times because I was desperate and didnt have anything else when my baby wanted to sleep being close to me. While she fell asleep right away after being put in it there were defenitely things I dont like about it. 1. Its hard to get the baby in there and in the right position. 2. The buckle really digs into your back, OWW, after a while. 3. The strap digs into your shoulder a lot and is overall very uncomfortable. At least for me. When my baby fel asleep and I tried to put her down in her bassinett, the awkward transfer woke her up. I dont think I could have worn it for how long she was going to sleep.

im sure it would have been great for someone in Alaska who doesn't have to go outside in the heat or nurse with it. isn't the purpose of a sling to help you. there is nothing helpful about something that says "perfect for nursing" and has the baby's head on your stomach.

One problem I had is that it's over sized, it's much larger in person than in the picture and I felt like my newborn would be swallowed in it. It's also ill-fitting I found it really difficult to get it into a comfortable position on my body, it was either too high or too low and felt odd no matter what position it was in.

This carrier is great. I haven't used it in public yet-too nervous since my baby isn't a month old yet. I have used it around the house and it is amazing. It holds the baby really well. Nice color and fabric. Don't throw away the box until you feel comfortable wearing it. I had to refer to the picture on the box a few times before I got it right!

I have this and the snugli. I Love this for the newborn stage. It is very comfortable to wear. You strap the baby in and put it on and go. My baby loves it. She falls asleep everytime I put her in it. I think it makes her feel secure. We use it a lot when going for walks!

I brought this product before my baby was born and I love it. she fits comfortable it there and she asleep with minutes of putting her in there. It's durable and it does not hurt my back like other do. The only thing that was a little difficult was that I had to kind of lift it to breastfeed her because I'm petite and short so it hang a bit low, but I still able to breastfeed.

Second child, first sling. We have been using this every time we go out. My little boy is nice and snug ( he is about 7 lbs now), and he is as content as can be! It snuggles them as if you are holding them really close, and I think the comfort reminds them of their womb like home. I really love this sling, and I am so glad I got it! I don't know how it will be as he gets larger, but as a newborn it is working out great! I am 5'7, and I can see why it would be a problem for shorter people as I am reading in the reviews. My husband who is 6'3 uses it as well, and while it is a little bit short on him, it actually fits him really well too for his height. So if your hubby wants to hold baby, it works for guys too. My hubby also likes that it's black even with the toile design inside.

Okay so like a previous reviewer said i am 5'3" i wouldn't recommend using it if you are too much shorter than me. It did hang a little low but baby was still secure and it was still very comfortable for me

Absolutely wonderful! Great for colder weather, as this really keeps the baby toasty. My son just loves this and falls asleep almost every time he's in it. Very easy to get him in and out of. My favorite thing is how secure my boy is with the comfortable belting system. I don't have to worry about him sliding anywhere :D Also love the price!

This product is very cute, but it is not made for short women. Even tightened to the limit it hung to my waist making it uncomfortable for my baby.

This was purchased for my daughter to use with her newborn son. It has been a wonderful help for her going shopping especially. She has a 3 1/2 year old daughter, so this frees her hands up to hold her hand or to shop. She loves it!!

I know this is for babies, but I had a gotten a little pomeranian that had been really abused and she was afraid of being held, so a friend recommended this to me. Now Missie just loves it, in fact when she see's it, she wants to picked up now, not later, now and she has become the most loveable little dog I have ever had.

My son was colicy, and this sling was helpful. I also liked putting him in it when I was at church, b/c it helped to keep the people back away from him (yes I was a first time mom:) Mine was a January baby, so this also kept him snug and warm in the cold weather. One downfall was he outgrew it quickly.

My son is 2 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs and he didn't fit the carrier well. It was too long for me even on the shortest setting. I returned it. For 30 dollars, it wasn't as useful as I thought it could or should be. I am making a Maya wrap.

good product, sturdy material, but sits low on me as i am 5ft 1in adjusted to its tightest position so probably great for taller people, my son is very small 6 lbs so he was 'folded" into a ball so i am waiting until he gets a bit bigger to see if he will fit better

This is a great carrier for a newborn, after your baby gets about 12lbs, it starts to hurt your shoulder!! But great for traveling with a newborn!!!!

I like the design of this product, but was disappointed that it didn't fit well around my size 24 body. Even with the straps fully extended, my daughter ended up tucked up under my armpit and her weight made the shoulder strap strangle me. I took it back and am hunting for something else.

I am a mother of 5 and bought this to use with my newborn son. Just like one of the other reviewers, I am short, 5'3". When I tried to use this it hung way down on my body and my son did not like it AT ALL. He would cry every time I put him in it. I was glad I able to take it back.
Couldn't have survived without it!

I could not have survived the newborn phase without this. My son absolutely LOVED it. He'd be screaming his head off, and when all else had failed, I'd put him in the sling and he'd calm right down. It was a must when we went anywhere. I had a little trouble adjusting it when my husband used it, but after I got familiar with it, then it was no problem.

I love this sling, this is my second sling, cause I hated the first style. This one is great, I can easily breastfeed in public and no one is the wiser. My 3 mnth old likes being close to mommy while i do my cleaning or shop. It's great, i recommend it to anyone.
