I was very suprised when I got this product how nicely made it was! Seems very roomy and has an adjustable strap. Baby isn't here yet, so I can't tell you how durable it is. But also a note not mentioned in the product details- the instuction booklet states you MUST lay the sling on a flat sturdy surface to put baby in- not wear it first. Also, you cannot bend over far while using it-unless you securely hold onto your baby. It also does not recommend cooking, cleaning, or doing dishes while wearing your baby... so what else is it good for?? lol
I think it will take some getting used to, but I am looking forward to it!

I started using this sling when my baby was only 4 days old. She was born small, 4lbs 7oz, and was fussy one afternoon so I decided to put her in the sling and walk around the house. She was a little fussy when I first tried to put her into it as I was learning how at the time, but as soon as I slung her over my shoulder she was quiet as a mouse and fell right to sleep. It mimics the coziness and closeness of being in the womb. I have since used it while going on a short shopping trip to the mall and she never made one fuss.
The only thing I would note is that the strap is a bit hard to manipulate so that you can adjust it to the length that you need, but at the same time it makes me feel comfortable knowing the strap is definitely secure and won't loosen easily. If you buy it and have trouble adjusting the strap, be persistent and you will get it - it is definitely worth the time and money to have this!!!

Previous version of this carrier was terrific with my now 5 year old. Relative sold it after handing down. Wanted it for my newborn. Fabric is wonderful, soft, light and colors are beautiful. However, this baby did not lie in it properly. Did not have enough bottom support and baby folded in half... Not comfortable for either of us and I felt like she was too squished. Returned it.
