The history of Inglesina began in a curious, original way. Everything started with the passion of the company's founder, Liviano Tomasi, for four wheels and mechanics in general. However, young Tomasi was originally interested in go-karts and in fact he dedicated himself to the tuning up and setting of karts for racing. But it was a short step from engines to babies - first through the production of tricycles - especially with the encouragement of a woman: his wife, Bruna. Today Inglesina is one of the leading companies on the international scene, specializing in the early infancy sector and a recognized interpreter of the "Made in Italy" style, elegance and quality, serving as its ambassador to more than thirty countries around the world for more than forty years.
LOVE this high chair!

I love this high chair so much, I wish we'd gotten it sooner. It comes fully assembled, except for the tray, which you just push into place. Even though the tray doesn't come into reach the baby, all the other things I love about it outweigh that one design flaw, but that's why I rated it a 4 rather than 5. It is easy to move around the room, you use the handle on the back of the chair to lift the back legs off the ground slightly and the wheels move nicely. My baby is small so I love being able to lower the chair to the perfect height. In our old high chair I had to stand to feed her because the chair was so high! She hasn't been on baby foods long so she still has a bottle after eating. Normally I fed her in the high chair and moved to the living room to bottle feed her but this high chair reclines so I can continue to feed her right at the kitchen table without disrupting her meal. I love the 5 pt harness (our other chair was a 3 pt harness) but she is still too small for it to fit properly. She is just under 14 lbs (6.5 mo) and the tightest setting is just a little too loose on her. I haven't had to wash the seat cover yet but the chair itself is a breeze to keep clean. I wish the tray reached the baby, but I love everything else about the chair! I wish we had gotten this sooner as meal time has been a chore with our other high chair! My husband picked this out. I wanted the Chicco Polly but he was concerned that the t-bar wasn't attached to the seat itself. Overall, well made, stylish, functional, easy to clean chair.

Did research online thought this chair was great until I used it! I was sold on the compact design and that the chair cushions were machine washable. Yes, chair is compact when closed when opened different story! Doesn't matter that the cushions are washable because they are secured by velcro,(on the chair itself) which every little crumb and cranny sticks to velcro and does not come out. There are to many cracks in the whole design of the chair where more food can go. Also, the plastic tray liner did not stay attached to the feeding tray my baby girl just pushed it right off! If you want to move this chair around the kitchen easily that will be impossible unless your kitchen is like a hallway and you just want to go back & forth in a straight line! If you read some of the other reviews it is true that the tray is TO FAR away from the seat. For the money you will spend you should look into purchasing a BOON ELITE CHAIR. That is a great chair, no cracks 1 piece very simple to clean, has a round base with hidden wheels and you can move in any direction in a flash!! Yes, a little pricy but if you like SIMPLICITY and NO HEADACHES EASY TO CLEAN, than the BOON ELITE is for you!! Also, doeos not take up that much room and is very durable(stainless steel bottom) I would recommend this chair to family and I would buy another if needed! [...]

Folds up nicely, buckles are awful to unsnap, and all the food drops in my toddlers lap while she eats. I wish the chair and tray were alot closer. If I hadn't already thrown away the box and used this highchair for 2 months I would return it. Not worth the money.

I love the Motto "Less is More", and LOVE when I can find any (new) product that enhances, and simplifies my life, and makes More room in my small house. This product does all those things. We started using it within 5 days of our daughter being born, since there is "tilt-positioning-for-infants" setting. We have no (and have no intention of getting) bouncy chair, playpen, walker, swing, or even infant car seat (we got the Britax convertible Carseat, and the Bertini Stroller) for our baby, but now don't need any of these things. I roll this chair everywhere in the house (she wants to be in the middle of all the action), she loves napping in it, sitting eye level in it (when I am working around the house), or sitting in the lowest position when company come over. I love how it stores away during parties (our house doesn't look like one big "Daycare / Romper Room House"). It is the Envy of all my friends who wished such a product existed when their children were little. I bought it sight unseen, and am thrilled with the results. This is a product that was designed #1 for the comfort and function of the Baby (isn't that the way it should be?). It is just a bonus that it makes parenting easier, too!!!
This chair makes no sense!

Our almost 7 month infant that is in the 90th percentile on height and weight cannot even reach the tray while sitting in this highchair. The tray does not adjust to go against the baby's chest/belly to keep the food from falling on their lap. There is a good 6-7 inches from his chest to the edge of the tray which makes eating and playing in it completely impossible for an infant. We love the style and the other adjustments that the chair can do-it just doesn't make sense that the tray is so far away from the child. And by the way...Inglesina customer service is terrible!

I feed my average-sized 9 month old in this chair but I probably won't be for long because he'll outgrow it soon. The seat is small and the highest strap height is medium height at best. I like that this high chair is cool-looking and nice quality but I'm bothered that the buckle is a pain to undo and the tray doesn't come nearly close enough.
