Every product of the Kiddopotamus line has been a life-saver -- and this "Tiny Diner" is no exception! It's lightweight, easily portable & great for any (messy or "neat") toddler to pre-k child! I love the durability of this item and the confidence it gives me when I'm not at home (and sometimes AT home, too). My little princess can make any size mess that's easily cleaned up & I don't worry about unsanitary surfaces when we dine out!

I saw this at a fast food place where a customer was using it for her child to eat lunch. I thought it would be great for my Grandchild to have for when they go out to eat. I had to find out where she got it. I asked and she told me of another store. I checked their website and couldn't find it. But, of course, Wal-Mart had it! And, at a GREAT price compared to other web-sites. I got it shipped Site to Store for no shipping charges.

I purchased this mat for home use and for on the go traveling. I thought it would be wonderful, but it won't stick to our table. Only one of the suction cups sticks to the wood. I just figured the suctions cups didn't work very well, but we used it on a glass table and it was fine. ? Also, I think it is meant for a young baby that can't reach very far. My daughter is 19 months and can reach beyond the mat on all sides. Which makes it nearly pointless at restaurants and it doesn't really work at home for what I wanted either. We are still using it, but I am not sure it is worth it since it doesn't stick she pulls it up all the time. Also, it doesn't lay very flat even when all the suction cup stick. I was really excited about this product, but so far I am mostly disappointed.
Great for eating out!

Rolls up tight and fits neatly in diaper bag. Easily cleaned.
Our daughter liked to spread her food all over the counter to eat. You never know if restraunt tables are "clean enough" and this was a great barrier. Even has a food "trough" to catch dribbles.
Must have for parents who travel or eat out.

I basically bought this product to use at home so the size is a bit too small for our table at home although the food catch in the front is a LIFESAVER!!! At the restaurant it was great! It rolls up nicely and fits nicely into her diaper bag. It sticks perfectly to the table and does not slide around like the restaurant placemats do.

We have found this does not stick very well to a vinyl table cloth, but it didan stick directly to a table. It eased our mind about cleanliness of restaurant tables. The tray does catch the food she drops.

I love this little product. My daughter is at the right height that she wanted to chew on the table. It became a challenge to keep her mouth off the dirty tables. With this I feel a little better during chew time. The product could have a little stronger suction cups but they work very well. It folds up very easily and fits right in our portable highchair.

This is a very good product, but it doesn't stick to all surfaces. Also, the "tray" doesn't always stay down.

I can't imagine eating out without one of these now that we have one. This is a must have purchase for the baby who has started finger foods. It works especially great with the Chicco Caddy Hook On High Chair because it covers the gap between the chair and the table. No spillage! An awesome value. I highly recommend it.

Awesome product! We take it to restaurants and it sticks to all kinds of table surfaces, wood, glass, laminate, etc. Child can not remove it, but parents easily can. Suction cups work great! Clean up is a breeze. Food tray catches most dropped food and little fingers can pick it up out of tray easily. Easy cleanup - easy storage! I love it!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I like to dine out once a week, and this is a must have for our daughter! We also own a clip-on high chair, and so even if we get the rare table that the suction cups don't stick to, the arms of her high chair hold it in place. I feel good knowing my daughter has a sanitary surface to eat off of, and the little channel that hangs over the side helps catch some (though not all, of course) of what misses her mouth. I love this item!

This is a great product, but for some reason I just don't use it all that often. It also tends to collect dirt and dust, regardless of the frequency of use. Maybe that's why I don't use it much - I hate having to clean it every time before using it and then waiting for it to dry completely.
Also, if we're eating out (and this is the major reason for getting this product in the first place), it can be somewhat awkward to wash it in the restaurant's bathroom after the meal, and this placemat does need to be cleaned ASAP after use to prevent permanent staining.
So, in conclusion, I like the idea of this placemat but less than completely satisfied with the actual product. I would recommend it for those who will use it on a regular basis.

This placemat is a very good product. It has suction cups on the bottom so it stays put. It's great for anywhere your child is going to eat. Provides a clean surface so no germs which we are all worried about these days. The only complaint i have is that it's a very sticky rubber so everything sticks to it, especially lint and hair so it needs to be wash front and back after each use. But overall i really like it.

My daughter is a special needs child and can only eat with her hands and cannot use a plate because she just knocks it off the table with all her food on it. This stays in place on the table and catches what she accidentally pushes off the table in front of her. It keeps the table from getting nearly as sticky and gooey and cleans very well and easily. I love it!

We got this when our son was just a few months old and continue to use this (he just turned two). It is the BEST when you go out to eat because there are either flimsy, yucky paper mats for kids, absolutely nothing, or they bring them the same breakable dishes that adults are served on which we all know isn't a good idea.
So, after having literally 5 people come up to our table the last time we were out eating, I decided this was our new baby shower gift. You will love this and we use it all the time. The best for taking kids out and not having to worry about cleanliness or having a good, stable surface to feed your kid. We loved ours so much, we got another for backup too.
