So far I have used the cradle/nursing and tummy-to-tummy positions, both have worked out great. I would have to say it took a little to get used to but after the first time it was so very simple to use. Make sure you order the right size you'll be sorry if you dont. this product works great and it is awsome since you can use it from birth all the way up to 35 lbs but it has some major disadvantages. 1) it is based on size there for you cant share it will anyone else (ie spouse or other caretaker) unless they are a similar size. 2) it may no longer fit if you lose weight. 3) it is some what expensive especially when considering the other two disadvantages. I love the my baby nest and if it becomes too big for me i plan to purchase another after i lose all my baby weight.
MAke sure you get the correct size or it will not support your baby and it will sag.

I am a mom to 4 having my baby close and my hands free is a necessity to say the least. The My Baby Nest carrier by far has been the best carrier I have ever owned! (I have tried many) It is so easy and fast to put on. My back never hurts. The fabric is very soft. I have held newborn thru walking and never had any problems. It works wonders on fussy babies and even mobile kids who just want to be held. I didn't get mine at WalMart I have owned it for a while but, I am buying one for my sister who is due in August and I just saw that WalMart had it. In response to another mom saying that the carrier wasn’t good for 11 lb babies-- I can honestly say that has not been my experience at all. I easily held much more than that. I do know that having the correct size makes a big difference. I originally had to exchange my ML for a SM. It will hang too low if you have a carrier that is too big. Also, if you have used it a while give it a wash and dry and it goes right back to the original shape. Honestly, I don’t know what I would do without mine, I rely on it so much to get things done. My little guy right now is loving the forward facing position but, when he is really tired I can snuggle him tummy to tummy. This item has been a lifesaver and is one of the few baby products that I would not easily part with.

I think this item is better for babies who are lighter because if they are heavy it weighs you down. I didn't feel like I had full support while carrying my 11 pound baby.
