i haven't used this yet, but i had a boppy with my first daughter and all the things i disliked about it (not adjustable for waist, slides off, no back support, etc.) this nursing pillow has. I'm not a big person at all (5'4" normally 120lbs.) but after having a baby trying to get a boppy around your waist is almost comical. we ended up using the boppy only to prop our daughter up and not so much for nursing. this is the one that a friend of mine had which her lactation consultant recommended and can't wait to use it with my one that is on the way.

I was planning on getting my granddaughter a boppy. I had watched another granddaughter use one so I thought that was the one to get however, when searching online I found My Brest Friend. I read the reviews and decided to get it. She had back problems before the birth so needless to say, she has back problems after the birth. I think the back support from MBF is very beneficial. It seems to give more support for the baby than the boppy. One problem is that she is so small that she can't cinch it around her as tight as needed so sometimes she has to put a pillow under it to keep it from sliding down. Also, there is a little problem when she uses the football hold. The baby slides down. After having seen both MBF and the boppy used, I think the MBF is better.
