I've been using 2 of these chairs for over a year now for my almost 2 year old twins. It's been fine for them, I don't get what all the complaints are. I've washed the pad numerous times & it looks fine. Getting the pad back on takes all of 5 minutes at the most.
I would buy this chair again.
Don't buy it

Very disappointed parents. This chair seems to be poorly made. The bar across the front is so snug, not enough leg room for a 6 month baby. It is hard to push - wheels don't roll easy, seat doesn't recline evenly. Didn't have to wash the pad yet, but it is already looks so worn. My rating for this product would be F. Thinking about buying another high chair.
Good not great

Wish the tray would lock. My son has figured out how to take the tray off. Otherwise, a good chair.
Worst Highchair on the Market

Do not buy - this is the worst highchair out there. Very hard to clean cover, large, terrible design etc. The early intervention specialist that observed the baby in this and she said that this has to be the worst highchair design that she has ever come accross. I have talked to customer service at Summer Infant and they are terribe to deal with - do not buy!
it's good

the material on pad wasn't easily cleaned. after i washed the pad the top of the pad didn't stay up anymore. i would definitely get the all plastic padding next time.

This high chair was easy to put together and to use. The design is really cute so that's why we purchased this. However, this high chair is white and gets dirty easily. Only about half of it can be wiped off, the other half stains with food.
Use it everyday!

I have never had a problem washing the seat pad. I do use the delicate cycle and it is in perfect shape. I have been using it for 18 months now and no rips or tears. It is not that difficult to take the pad off. Yes, you do have to thread the straps through but it is not that hard to do. The leg holes are big enough. My son is 26 lbs. and I have not had a problem with his legs getting stuck. As a matter of fact, he has enough room that he pulls his one leg up into the chair as he is eating. I guess he thinks that is the way cool kids eat! LOL
Hate it!

The seat is constantly dirty no matter how many times I wash it, it still has stains on it.One side is all fabric and the other side is supposed to be all plastic, but it has a fabric part at the top that gets dirty all the time. After a few washes the plastic part ripped. What a waste of money.
Hate it!!!

My son is 21 months old and I absolutely hate this product. The seat is constantly dirty and to remove it is a hassle. The seat is stained and no matter how many times I wash it, it still has spaghetti sauce stains. In addition, one side is all fabric and the other side is supposed to be all plastic, but it has a fabric part at the top that my son manages to get food stuck on all the time. Oatmeal and cream of wheat are not recommended for this chair.
Also, the chair itself has tons of crevices for food to hide. I am constantly taking the thing apart and having to dig in the crevices that he manages to get food into. I just think a dirty chair with food stuck in crevices is disgusting. I clean this thing over and over again and hate it. I am looking to get a different one with our second child who is due soon. I would not recommend this to anyone.
I would recommend this to everyone!

This high chair is very user friendly. Easy to put together no tools needed. I love the features of infant to toddler positions. It reclines and the height is adjustable. My Daughter and Granddaughter love it too. This was the last piece to the set we needed. The Hug Me line is awesome. Every Piece is useful and sturdy. I look forward to selecting a piece to pass on for generations.

We have been using this chair for 9 months now and my child is smaller than average. The "T" shaped bar that goes around the thigh is causing her bruises because it is so wide. It was great while she was younger but in the last month she started to get bruises on her inner thighs and I finally figured out that it was her highchair. Test your child in the chair if you can before you buy so you can see where that bar rests on your child. I have to go buy a new one tomorrow.

Comments about Natures Purest High Chair Hug Me:
The high chair is fine for day to day use. The biggest problem is the seat padding is constantly getting dirty. To remove this item and wash it is cumbersome as you have to put the tabs through the slats. The top most fasteners are made of elastic and get stretched out easily. When this happens the top of the padding unit comes detached from the chair. While i can throw the padding into the washer after a while the plastic started to crack.
No tears, no wear in two years of use.

Used it for almost two years and had NO problem with the material tearing, but I used a gentle cycle and air dry, as instructed! I sponged down the vinyl part of the seat and sometimes sprayed the back fabric with OxyClean and patted it clean. It still looks great.
Easy to roll it around, baby and all, in the kitchen. My daughter fell asleep in it a few times.
When she was two, she figured out how to remove the tray, so she sat in it at the kitchen table.

Comments about Natures Purest High Chair Hug Me:
First, The front doesn't come off!!! that means you have to lift you child up and drop them down into the seat hoping their legs can fit through the little leg spaces.
Second, the leg room where the legs go through are very small! my children are 7 months old/ 20lbs and they barely fit in these chairs.
At first glance, we loved the concept, after buying we realized this product is junk! we sold them off and purchased other highchairs

Great until moved to upright position
11/17/2009 by Mother of two, Felton,CA
Comments about Natures Purest High Chair Hug Me:
The highchair was great until I had to move it into the upright position. The pad is only held by two elastic strings that go through the back about 5 inches from the top (which you have to have small fingers to attach also) so the top of it flops over all the time. When I put my baby in it just folds all the way down and the elastic pops off the back. It's a pain and I am constantly cleaning everything but the pad now. I recommend a highchair where the pad folds over the top so it stays on. Other the pad, it's a good highchair, I have had no other issues.
Not bad!

We received this high chair from my mother-in-law at our baby shower. It's cute & neutral, but the top part of the cushion is a light-colored fabric, which means I have to wash it often. The entire cushion is easily stained. Getting the cushion on & off the high chair is SO difficult and frustrating! The high chair is also bulky... I wish I'd thought to get one that folds up. But other than those complaints, it's a good, sturdy high chair. My son has been using it since he was 6 months old, and he's now 15 months old.

My son is 14 months and we began using this high chair around 5 months. It's been great. The tray is easy to get on and off even when only one hand is available. I love the neutral colors and it was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It's easy to clean (both the tray and the seat cover). I wish it stored better and I do find the brake things on the wheels are constantly being engaged on accident. All in all though we have been very happy with this product.

This product is great. It is a neutral color, very soft material. Very easy to put together. my daughter started using it around 5 months, it was a little bit for her but she is very comfortable in the chair. It has never been too snug in any place. Very sturdy, easy to roll on my hardwood floors. Also easy to clean, the cover slips right off and I put it in the washing machine, let it air dry, very simple.
I'd never buy this again......

Comments about Natures Purest High Chair Hug Me:
I registered for this highchair because it was a neutral color, it didnt seem to take up alot of floor space, and it was very easy to open with one hand. I have had this for 1 year now and regret ever getting it as a gift, and feel bad someone actually paid [$] for this. It says the cover is machine washable...My daughter got some cereal (beige) on it, and I had to put it through the wash twice. It washes like garbage and makes the highchair look very cheap when you put the cover back on. The caster wheels on the bottom are a joke too. I have a tile floor in the kitchen and its like trying to pull something through the mud. It has some decent qualities, but for all of the bad ones, its just not worth it. I got it because I was hoping I could use it for a second baby....I am now wondering if it will make it through the first. BUYER BEWARE.
