Being a new mom, I had the expectation of having my new born daughter sleep soundly in her crub as soon as we brought her home from the hospital. I didn't think that swaddling wouldn't be her thing. This swing saved us! We would place our newborn to sleep in the swing at a very low speed setting or no setting at all. We'd make her feel snug and secure by swaddling her and THEN placing her in the swing. She's 5 months now. She doesnt sleep in it anymore, of course, but she loves to swing in it and play with her baby toys and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. :) She's also 17 lbs. The weight limit is 30 lbs.

I love our swing! I wanted something neutral because I knew I was going to have more kids in the future so I didn't want to get a bunch of girly stuff and have to get all new things if I had a boy later. I am now in the situation where I had my daughter and am now pregnant with a son. I depended on our swing every night to get my daughter to sleep when she started teething. She loved the womb sound on it and I loved the fact that you could adjust the position from almost sitting to laying down. It isn't something you can tote around everywhere but thats what purchasing a little travel one is for. And even then the little travel one couldn't rock my daughter once she reached over 15 lbs. I used this swing till she was almost 30lbs! It has been a stress saver in calming her down when nothing else worked. I would recommend this to anyone!

My son loved the swing! He would sleep in it for hours. Yes, it does lay back, but you can adjust the seat so it is in an upright postion. The tray did get in the way when he wanted to kick but I popped the tray up and it was fine. It still would swing with the tray up.
Very cute, but baby didn't like it.

Fairly easy to set up. Kind of big, but that's what I expected. Good speed, Lovely music and sturdy. Very cute materials. 3 out of 4 of my babies hated this swing so did my cousins baby. so i got another one that rocked side by side.... they all seemed to like that kind better. i eventually gave the swing away when my children outgrew it to my aunt. her child loves the swing and spends loads of time in it. I guess in the end it all depends on your baby.

I like it was really nice, and easy to assemble, As for my daughter she hated it, she is a kicker so I took the tray off, she still didn't like it, she would start crying as soon as I as sat her. She also outgrew the swing really fast.

This seat is completely flat, it is more like a saucer than a seat. My daughter was very uncomfortable in it. Even though we put her in it over a dozen times she never learned to like it. Wish we bought another one!
Positives- The music choices and volume control were good and it is a nice neutral color/pattern.
So not worth the money

I ordered this swing when my son was newborn because I like organic products. Unfortunately, it did not meet his expectations. My son did not like the swing from the moment he sat in it. He was only able to be in a lying position which was not condusive for him. He liked to sit up at one month. He never used the swing more than four times at 2 minute increments. Looks good but not a good economical buy for children moving at a fast developmental pace.

My Daughter is now 4 months old, and not once did she use this swing. The swing is uncomfortable for her. She just kinda hangs there. She loves to kick her legs and she cant do that at all with the tray in there. I had to buy a tiny swing from somewhere else, way cheaper and she loves it.

My baby was only able to use this product the first few weeks. He hates it now and at 3 months this is when it could be most useful. The mobile doesn't stay over his head and the swing basically has him lying down which he hates. There are too many straps for the swing and the tray pinches his legs and gets in his way when he starts kicking. It is a waste of my time and space and a horrible product.

My baby only liked this swing until she was about a week old. The tray pinches her, and now that she is older, she can't sit up in it unless we tilt it up, and if we do that it puts her in an awkward position. The mobile is boring.

Extremely easy to assemble and take apart to clean! Item looked exactly like the picture and was extremely soft. This is the third swing I have owned, and the best constructed. My son overflowed onto the seat - it took less than five minutes to remove the seat cover and it washed up beautifully!

It's beautiful, looks good, and it's organic. The swing is great! It's as girly as i can get because I can't stand pink, but now that my baby is older she is bored, to sit her up she is tilted up but in a stand up position. It's weird. The mobile doesn't keep her attention very long. The swing will only hold her attention for 5-10mins before she gets fussy. But this swing was AWESOME when she was a newborn because it soft and lays down completely. It may not keep her attention very long but I love the fact it's all natural, and that it matches every room it goes in.

The baby cannot sit up on the swing so the best you can do is tilt it forward which makes the baby so uncomfortable. When she kicks, which babies always do, the tray scratches the top of her legs. The mobile does not move and the neutral colors do not make it attractive to the baby. My baby hates it!!!!
Try baby in it first!

My cousin recieved this as a shower gift but her daughter hated it with a passion. My son was born a year later and she passed it on to me.
My son loves it! he loves the sound of the waves crashing.
I have to put it on the fastest speed though. Anything slower and he starts crying. It seems sturdy.
The only things I dont like is that it needs to drip dry (seems to me that ALL baby things should be able to be put in a dryer).
The mobile does not intrest him at all,
And the music only lasts for fifteen minutes.
Other than that, its a good product and enables me to get things done.

We received this as a present and my baby hates it. Others have commented on the tray- it is pointless and pinches the baby's legs when secured, making my baby scream. I may remove the tray and just use the waist belt but that will only last for maybe another month or two, then it will be unsafe. The mobile looks nice but lacks anything to stimulate a baby's attention (color, movement, etc). I didn't have too much trouble with assembly but some of the screws just would not fit so I had to use my own. I have only used it a few times for literally minutes but the speeds don't seem to work correctly. Overall, I would never purchase this or recommend it to a friend!

For the first 6 months the swing has worked great. I did not need to change the batteries once. Just over the past few weeks, I have been a little nervous. My daughter is a little bigger than the avg. 6 month old (18 lbs, 25 inches) and is starting to sit up and explore the world around her. She sits up in the swing and tries to hang over the side and over the tray and I am very afraid that she is going to fall out. I have her strapped in at all times, but the strap is only around her waist and I am not going to chance her slipping out. However, prior to sitting up, it has been a wonderful swing. We love the speed settings and sounds. Even though the mobile does not move, we added a soft, bright toy and a few plastic rings that hang from it and my daughter loves to swat at them and pull them around. It is a little bulky when trying to move it from room to room.
