My 10 month old is crawling and almost walking, and into everything. I got this Superyard plus the extension package so I could make a safe place for her to roam around. It works great! I set this up in our kitchen/living room area so she can play while I cook or do housework. It is sturdy and easy to set up. I can use it in a circle or break it apart and partition part of the room. I think I will also use it outside in the yard and at the beach. She pulls up on it and it doesn't move. As long as it is not set up in a strait line, but each section at a slight angle, it will not move. I did not think it was very heavy. An older stronger child might figure out how to move it, but for now it works great for my baby. Definitely worth it.

The instructions kept referring to "blue" items and mine had no "blue." I think the company has changed to gray so do not get confused. It is easier to assemble if you use a solid surface and put the bottom in first then ease the slotted top into position. A gentle push locked it in place and I was pleased. I must admit my daughter directed me on the telephone though. She has one and it is very useful.

Bought this with the extra 2 panel extender! it is awesome! My 8 month old is contained while I do things around the house and he doesn't fuss when I put him in there! It is very spacious, enough for 2 babies! We are planning on getting my son a puppy in a year or so, so we will use this playpen for the puppy when my son grows out of it! Great product that has multiple uses and will be used for a few years! Definitely worth it!

This was the best price for this particular item. The reason why I gave it three stars out of five is because the joints are extremely stiff and the gate is hard to open. But they have seemed to start loosening... Good gate, it just needs to be easier to open.

Brought this to potty train my puppy. Great product for this. As others have mentioned the hinges are stiff, will try some WD40 on them, and a gate would be nice. For the purpose I purchased it for and the cost I'm satisfied with, and would recommen it.

The Superyard is sturdy and well constructed but it's difficult to adjust the panels. This is a plus/minus. Since it's difficult to adjust, it's pretty rigid and your toddler won't be able to easily move or adjust the panels. The minus is that it's not easy to set up.

I have not been able to use my playard as yet but it has been set up to see how to set it up. I will be using this for two small yorkies when we camp. My dear daughter is now eight months old, but when she was just short of six months she started crawling. I needed something to keep her corralled in the living room while I did chores in the kitchen. I started by making a blockade with her walker, a couple of boxes and some chairs. Well, that held until she figured out how to crawl under the walker seat and, eventually, over the boxes. Good thing: she's clever; bad thing: I still needed a way to keep her in her safe area when I had to take my eyes off of her for a few minutes. I found this product and it was just what I was looking for. It's sturdy (reminds me of those old milk crates) and maneuverable (though it's very slightly difficult to fold up). I am very happy with it so far.

We spend a lot of time in our carpeted 2-car garage with the door open while we play pool/pingpong, do crafts on the table and while my 6 year old and his friends ride bikes out front. So, it became impossible to keep our 1 year old from running down the driveway or out of the garage. This gate is a freedom saver!! It fits perfectly across the garage and now she has a giant playpin with all her toys and plenty of room to run around while I work on my projects. The price is $20 less that the toy store and it comes with 6 panels which is the perfect size to reach entirely across. I used a bungie cord at each end which is easily removed when you want to open the gate. The hinges on each panel are durable yet adjust easily. The garage door opens/shuts with the gate still attached at each end. And when the door is open, I hook another cord in the middle just to give the gate extra support. If you spend a lot of time in your garage, this gate is a must have!!

I bought this play yard to help corral my sheltie puppies. It's perfect...loads of play room, comes all put together except for one panel that needs attached on one side. I also use it for my grandson. It doesn't tip. Has loads of room for him and keeps him corralled in one spot for me too. Cost was wonderful...the 97 cent delivery is fantastic and it was delivered in less than a week.

We got this play yard for our 8 month old granddaughter. We also got the extension with it. It makes a great area for her to play safely when we have to get other things done. It is easy to fold up and open up to get into. It is also easy to step over to get into.
It can also be used for pets or to keep pets and kids away from things like a Christmas tree or other area you don't want young kids getting into. I think it is a great investment.

Began to pull the gate out of the box and noticed small sharp edged pieces at the bottom of the box. The gate was broken before I even could use it. Very fragile. Would not recommend this product.

I had ordered the bundle that included the playard and the extension. I ordered it on a sunday and gotten it by wednesday. It was easy to connect them together. It works good in my livingroom which is kind of small, but if i need to i can just fold it up and put it away. My son likes it and crawls around in it. This will work good for me if I need to do stuff around the apartment. I can just put my son in there with his toys and not have to worry about him getting into something he doesnt need to. So far today while hes been in it, he grabs on it and pulls himself onto his knees and he shakes it like crazy. Its sturdy on my carpet too.

This fence is not easy to fold which is great. This means that our child has a tough time trying to manipulate the fence and it is a little sturdier than other fences we looked at.

This product is wonderful. So easy to set-up/put away, you simply line up the hinge joints on the open ends, pull up on one end while pressing down on the other to either connect or open the fence. I can have it up or put away in two minutes tops. It folds like an accordian for easy storage. It keeps my son safe while giving me the opportunity to get some things done around the house. My living room is small but this unit fits perfectly and we still have room to get around, plus, it's big enough for two babies to hang out and play. I'm buying a second one to connect the two to use in my yard for him and his cousins to play at his birthday party next month! Great product for the money!

I bought this to keep my 10 month old safe, yet let him have room to crawl around and it is perfect. It is small enough that it does not take up the whole living room and I am able to adjust the shape, but it is also big enough that his older sister can get in and play too if she wants to. I love that it is stronger and seems more stable than the one that my mother-in-law has. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a young child that wants to explore, but that they need to keep in one general area.

I purchased this playard for my 7 pound yorkie. My dog and I both love it. Very easy to put up...matter of couple minutes. I put a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet on our wooden floor and set the playard on it. Keeps my lil dog safe while I can't be with him. He loves it because he doesn't feel confined and it's tall enough that he can't jump over it. I like the idea of being able to add more panels to increase the size.

We bought this gate to keep a dog out of part of the house when we're gone. It's been great. We can easily change the shape depending on our needs. The only possible negative I can see is that when we fold the individual panels into a different position, they are hard to move, then they pop into position with a loud snap. I wonder if they will break, but so far haven't. Very handy gate.

This play yard is worth the money. I use it for a 10 month old and he has plenty of romm to roam around in. One negative is that if you use it on a floor with out carpet it slides if the baby pushes it, and like another review said it does not have an entrance, so you'll have to bend over alot.

I bought the portable playard for 2 6 month old puppies. My family takes them with us camping. I used the playard to keep them contained without having to be on a lead at all times.
Combined weight of 30 pounds and about the height of a toddler, they were not able to turn it over outside.
It would not work on hard floor as it would move with a child, but it would work well on carpeting.
It is easy to move, not too heavy to carry and very easy to adjust it to form and secure the closure.

I bought this Playard for my sister's babies who are 8 months old. It's easy to snap into place, and light enough to transport around. It is plastic, so it won't ruin your carpet or scratch up your tile (and can be used outdoors). It fits her twins, and two adults to play inside w/them. The kids like to stand up and move around by it's corners,and the playard does a good job of staying still (and not tipping over). My only criticism is that the door doesn't easily snap into place. But, I suppose this makes it really hard for the child to walk right out w/you noticing. Can also be used for your pets, or as barriers around parts of your house. The price is great, in comparison to many other stores, especially for the size that you are getting. I'd recommend this to anyone.

So I purchased this for my daughter at around 5months old. She refused to crawl, her dad sugested I stop putting her in the play yard and like a week later she was trying to scoot around on the floor. She used to cry and fuss whenever I put her in there, my 4year old son said I should take her out because she probably feels like she is in jail, lol. Anyways no one liked it. I bought it to keep her out of stuff when she started crawling/walking.

this is okay for what it is, a playpen. however, the plastic cracked in several places because it is really hard to open up. the cracks didn't make it unusable though. it helped with keeping the baby safe in his space while i had to do the dishes, cook, etc.

I have a large, raised patio where my grandchildren play, but not adequately railed or gated for babies. I was confounded as to how to baby proof my deck, then saw this Superyard as the perfect solution, and it is. It is smooth and safe for children, very durable and stable, can be configured into almost any shape, and using 3 sets, I was able to contain my deck safely and efficiently. The children can't unlock the sections or push them over. I can take it off the deck and put it on the lawn so they can safely play there. It is tall enough to contain even a 5-year-old, but an adult can easily step over it. The Superyard is so versatile it could be used for a multitude of purposes: containing animals, corraling your garden from pests, separating kids from animals, etc. I have used it for my dogs and my goats.The panels are easily cleaned with a hose. I absolutly love this product, and would recommend it to anyone with small children.

The Superyard is great for my small dog to keep him contained in an area in my backyard for short periods of time. He will normally get in trouble by eating things he shouldn't so it keeps him from getting hurt. This is the second one I've purchased since I leave it out year round (even though the manufacturer does not recommend it). The first yard lasted several years. Walmart also had the best price. Most stores wanted to charge $20.00 to $30.00 dollars more for this product.

This product is great for the beach, or keeping children away from the fireplace, stairs ect. You have to be a little careful when opening and shutting them because they have a tendency to break near the hinges below the large connecters. I feel this is a very good product. Pay the extra and get the extension. You will need them at some time.

I was looking for something I could use for my Yorkies, so they could run around a little in safety without their leashes. This is perfect. They play with each other, run in circles, play with another Yorkie in the neighborhood...it's just great. I bought two of these to put together so they had a larger space to run in. I also use the units separately. Took it to my brother's house to pen them up so they wouldn't get into everything. Used one to block in our patio so that they couldn't get out. GREAT!!!

I have had two different brands of play-yards for the grandchildren. The one that I just purchased at Wal-Mart from North State is more heavy duty and sturdy than the others. It is not as easy to carry, but it does provide a stable crawling and standing area for the baby.

We bought the playyard to use for our six week old Great Pyreneese pup when we were not at home and at night. She has grown amazingly in the past four weeks, and the yard gives her plenty of room. I bought one of these to use at my house with my grandson. My son and his wife saw how great it was and wanted one for their home, so I ordered another for them. It was delivered in 2 or 3 days. It's pretty easy to set up and configure according to your needs. We usually keep ours on the deck with a blanket under it. Sometimes we bring it down into the yard on the grass. If the grass is damp we put a tarp under the blanket. We are able to bring it in and out of the house easily and set it up wherever we want. It allows us to keep the baby safe while he has freedom of movement wherever we are.

This product is good, but lacks one major thing- a GATE! The manufacturer states that "any panel can be a gate" ... by opening at the corner, but this is difficult to do, and most people will just be climbing over the walls to get in and out. If you have the money, a much better choice is the metal playyard by the same manufacturer, which DOES have a gate and is also a bit sturdier. If you don't have the extra money, this gate is a good product to have.
