Be careful with sizing. I went by the sizing chart, but when I tried the S/M with my 7 lb newborn she was more than just snug, she was smashed, and it was not comfortable for me at all either. The material has no give so it is very hard to fit.

With all the work that being a mom takes I thought this product would make my life easier...it hasn't. I am so disappointed. It is virtually impossible to get the baby in a good position for the cradle carry. There is absolutely no strech to the fabric. I have watched the instructional video about twenty times and it doesn't help. Don't buy it. If you have already bought it, take it back.

I bought this because I thought it would be nice to use for quick trips into the store when it is just my son and I so I don't have to mess with the infant seat and stroller. I also thought it might come in handy during the day when we're home alone. I was right!My 7 week old son loves to cuddle. I put him in it this morning when he was a little fussy and he ws asleep in 30 seconds! I also used it for a quick trip to [...] today and was very happy with it.The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are:It pulled on the shoulder of my shirt sleeve and I found that I was fixing it every few minutes so my bra strap didn't show.It was just as hard on my back as my other baby carrier.It is slightly cumbersome to get the baby in and out (yes, I did watch the DVD that came with it). I found that if I layed the sling down on the couch or my bed and put the baby in it first, it was easier. Same for taking it off. That probably won't work with some of the different holds though.Despite those few negative things, I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to a friend.

I was excited about getting a comfortable sling but talk about disappointing! Even after following the DVDs instructions perfectly, my baby wailed in discomfort while I tried to squeeze her tiny body in and again when I felt like I was giving birth to her once more while taking her out of the sling. This thing is going back to the store ASAP!

I bought this for my two month old, as he likes to be carried and I wanted to give it a try to see if I like it better than the bjorn. I watched the instructional video, and could not get my son into the sling. it just seemed way too small and the opening for him didn't seem big enough. I didnt try for very long, as I didnt forsee me every going thru trying ot get him into that little slot. I am hoping I can return it since it is opened.

I purchased this product for my nearly four week old daughter. She loves to be held all day, and doesn't like to nap unless being held. I wanted to get something done around the house, and my backpack style carrier seems to squish her and she always cries. I have had the Peanut Shell for a day, and she seems to LOVE it. It can be tricky to get her in there comfortably, but I just had to hit repeat on the DVD a couple of times... I am not quite sure how some reviewers think this is pretty complicated, but it's a LOT easier than getting her in and out of my other carrier on my own. I plan to recommend this product to all of my prego friends!

I purchased the S/M. According to the Peanut Shell sizing chart, I need a medium. The S/M was definitely too small. I need a medium. While Babies r Us does not carry straight Mediums, the supplier, Peanut Shell does. I am going to order a straight Medium from them to ensure that it fits. I felt that my baby was really squished in the S/M and I had a very difficult time getting her in and out of the sling on my own.

I got this item as a gift and I keep trying to use it on my now 4 month old and he hates it. It seems uncomfortable for him. I also hated the fact that I had to go online to get the instructions because the sling doesn't come with them. This item is not cheap and they make you go to there website to print out your own instructions!

What a terrible experience! I got the right size, watched the instructional DVD 4 times (together with my husband) and when I tried to put my 2-week-old baby in, he did not fit at all. I felt like I was hurting him, when trying to take him out of it. After the 3rd attempt of placing him in the sling, he got so upset that I though I actually hurt his delicate spine/neck. I had never seen him so frustrated. This item is going back to the store tomorrow.

I bought this for my 2nd baby at 6 days old. I immediately took it out of the box and used it while nursing him in a restaurant. It was so easy to put on, very discreet, and I've been using it at home ever since. I love it and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a sling. It's especially great for daily use at home so that I can hold the baby hands-free and keep up with my active 2 yr. old.

I love the look of this sling and I wanted it to work really bad, but I don't think the pouch is big enough to comfortably hold the baby. I fit the "small" specifications, but I think the s/m was too small. The Large was way too big. Honestly, I ordered the "New Native" on line and it works like a charm. [...] The Peanut Shell, however, is more stylish if it works for you.

It is extremely easy to use!! My son is 4 months old and loves the Kangaroo carry. If you go on [@] you can see the many ways to wear your PEANUT SHELL. If you take off your Peanut Shell you should NEVER leave the baby inside. Make sure that you buy the correct size, it really matters. It is perfect for shopping and is truely a hands free product!
