The Peanut Shell was born out of a necessity to offer a stylish alternative to typical baby gear found in the market. Founder, visionary and new mom Alicia Shaffer wanted to offer an alternative to the dowdy persona typically found in the baby sling market. They can be used for children from ages 6 months to four years of age. As the weight of the child grows, baby carriers for older children are designed to lessen the pressure on the spine. There are many types of baby carriers available outside the market. But there should be a soft top carrier for you.Usability of the carrier should be carefully considered. Model you are going to purchase should be easy to take on and off. Taking your child on and off should be an easy job. Otherwise, the carrier will be more of problems for you instead of comfort.

This sling is the best!! I had a ring sling in the past and I liked this one much better. I feel that the baby fits more securely againist my body, therefore making me "actually" have my hands free to do others things while wearing baby. I am able to multi-task. Provide comfort for my newborn and not worry about her slipping out of it. I can also fold it up and take it in my diaper bag anywhere I go. It doesn't take up much space @ all. I use it all the time. Don't know what I would do without it. TOTAL life saver for this busy mom of 3.
I was a little disappointed with the fabric color though. The one I saw online was white with light. pink, dark pink and teal paisley. The one I got was cream colored with red, pink and teal paisley. Not exactly what I expected, and I didn't like these colors as much as the one I saw online.

This product is a life saver.
New baby in the family and she always wants to be held. We have no problem doing that, but this sling makes is possible to do multi task with both hands being free and not wearing out your arm.
our baby loves it as she can see every thing that is going on and be close to you at he same time.
If you are a active parent this baby sling will be your new best friend. it sure is mine.

The only problem that I had with this product is if you wear it for too long it does start to hurt your shoulder - but my baby is 14 pounds.... You also can't lift your arm (with the sling on it) above your head so it does impede some cleaning, shopping and other activities. I did expect these problems though. Any time that you wear something across your back like that you will have some stress/strain on your shoulders and back. This sling in easy to put on and if you are breast feeding I found this product easy to do that and easy to conceal.

This is a great product ( i bought one direct ) my son was really long so this didn't work for him untill he was able to hold his head up. when he was a newborn he looked really squished and it kindof covered his face. you do really have to play with it but it's SO much easier and more convienient and transportable than some of those other carriers it folds up so nicely!! It does take some finagleing but it's worth it esspecially at this price!! it's regularly 50!!

Every new mom should have a baby sling, and I particularly love this one! I used the "Original Baby Sling" for my 2 and 4 year olds, but wanted something smaller and lighter for this baby. I LOVE this Peanut Shell sling and highly recommend it! I was lucky that I read the other reviews... I probably would have ordered an XL but got the medium size, and it's perfect!

Well, I must say this is not only fashionable but very functionable as well! I love it.. word of advise, they do run kinda big. I ordered a Medium.. I'm 5'2 and 170 lbs. I think I could have gotten away with a small. But it'll work. In fact i'm going to order another one! Really.. You'll like it!
