I purchased this chair for my daughter when she was about 4 months old to grow into since it reclines, is soft and comfortable, is height adjustable and can be easily moved around on it's caster wheels. All these features seemed great and with all of these features I was not disappointed. I frequently used it as a baby seat when my daughter was between 4-7 months old.
HOWEVER, I disregarded many of the reviews posted that reported complaints about the trays not coming up close enough to the babies. At first I assumed it was because my daughter was so young and would grow into it by the time she was self-feeding. This was a MISTAKE!!
As my daughter grew, I quickly realized that she would never really grow into it to "seal the gap" between herself and the tray. Basically, everything she drops or spills from her fork or spoon lands right into her lap! She is now 2 years old and that gap is still huge. Her clothes are constantly stained and this is frustrating for my daughter just as much as for me!
In addition, I do agree that the chair is more difficult to wipe off quickly after feeding than other chairs because of all the nooks and crannies. (though I wouldn't go as far to say that it is really hard--it does get clean!)
I tried another popular product and was amazed by how much better it worked. I just can't figure out why the company hasn't fixed this problem as it seems simple enough.
Unfortunately, this purchase was one of the few I regretted. I would not recommend this product to new mothers.
Don't buy anything else!

I have been using this high chair for about a year and a half and still love it. It has been a breeze to use. The double tray feature is by far superior to any other chair I have come across. You can remove the top tray and the bottom is usually clean. I generally only have to wipe the part that was near my son's belly. The leather makes it easy to take a warm washcloth or a clorox wipe to it and it's clean in minutes. The tray storage on the back makes it so much easier to put my son into the chair. The adjustable foot rest has really come in handy since my almost 2 year old is a giant and has long legs. Also, the mesh net on the back is a perfect place to store toys, wash cloths, extra bibs, etc. I can't say enough positive things about this chair, we love it!
Well worth the money!

This high chair is simply the best there is. I had a Peg Perego Prima Pappa many years ago and it lasted through two rowdy boys who sat in it long after they really should have : ) It was used, loved and finally needed replacing 10 years later when my daughter was born. I opted for the beige leather because it is just a gorgeous high chair that perfectly matches our kitchen decor. I already knew this high chair has wonderful, high-end features (the reclining leather seat, the wheels that allow you to move the high chair all over the house, the dual trays, the adjustable height, I could go on and on). It makes any other high chair look cheap and flimsy. You will not be disappointed. My only worry before I got it was that the lighter colored leather and straps would stain. I have found that they come clean in a snap and the straps just wipe right off. This is through pureed carrots and prunes and everything else that has the potential to stain fabrics. Just wipes clean with a microfiber cloth every time. GET THIS HIGH CHAIR!

i love this chair, you cannot compare to peg perego regardless. My husband bought our son a normal graco highchair, when i told him to get him the peg perego, just because it was less expensive but men don't realize things like us women do... this chair is so much more sturdy than any other chair, and its not bulky at all to my opinion because it folds up nicely and could easily fit in any space. the only thing is that it does have alot of little creases on the side where the baby sits and if he eats a cookie or something he gets crumbs on the sides, but with a wet paper towel or wipie, it is so easy to clean. and the straps are light colored but with a damp cloth it comes right off as long as you dont leave the mess on for like a week... lol my chair looks brand new still!

Receive this as a baby shower gift for my daughter ( she is 3 years old now) the chair is still like new and she has been using it daily. We started using it when she was about 2 months old. The chair reclines beautifully, it is comfortable and stable. She would take long and happy naps on it. The highest position it is great to feed the baby. The lowest it is perfect for toddler to get in and out on his/her own safely. Now we have twins and are trying to get another one. It is probably the MOST stable highchair in the market (very convenient when you have new babies + older kids running around). So comfy kids just love it… and parents do too…worth the money.

Love, love, love this highchair. It is easy to set up, easy to stow and easy to clean. It is lightweight yet very, very stable (more so than any other chair we looked at or that friends have) and it is a very nice looking chair. Baby is comfortable and secure - what more could we ask for!

I love this high chair! I've had it for a year now and it's easy to clean and my 16 month old toddler still fits comfortably in it. Just recently one of the wheels on the front of the high chair's side cap fell off, I called customer service (Peg Perego, 800-671-1701) to replace it without any problems. I also learned all of the pieces are replacable including the leatherette part, grant it they charge you for it, but it wasn't expensive considering all the wear you get out of it. Mine is still in great shape, but it's good to know you can replace it. I'd definitely buy this product again! Thanks Peg Perego for such good quality workmanship [...]

We have three children and used the chair with all three. It has held up well with much use, almost daily for 6 years. Despite conflicting reviews, we found the chair easy to assemble, easy to clean and easy to utilize. It blends well into our kitchen too. And the ability to fold and store in a corner was helpful.

Put on the wheels and you are done! This is the most attractive and stable high chair on the market. It is easy to clean. NOt quite sure what some people mean when they say it is hard to clean. It is a highchair, and will have some hard to get to areas. It reclines, it adjusts in height, and it is comfy for baby at all stages. None better. Also folds us for easy storage or transport. My only difficulty was when we started using it our son was a little too small to use it with the tray, but he quickly grew as they all do!!
This is really the best one.

We did some research before buying Peg Perego Prima Pappa Best. There are concerns in comments here about this high chair, so after that I compared other ones with this. But I couldn't find the better one, not even close. This one really the best and definitely worse money.

This high chair LOOKS great...
This high chair is a big pain to clean. The tray does not pull up right against the child's chest so all the food falls right on their shirt and pants. Then the sides of the chair get food all over them and in the little nooks and is HORRIBLE to clean. I spent so much time cleaning this chair probably a good 10 min after each meal...crazy....
If I have any more children I would def get a different chair...I WOULD not recommend this chair to ANYONE!

Love this highchair! Love that it has all the features that I was looking for( easy storage of tray, easy to clean, stylish, and comfy). My son loves to sit reclined while drinking his bottle and the height adjustments make it easy for him to dine both at the dinner table or at the counter. This is a very well constructed highchair that I get many compliments on. I will definetly by another for our second child.

I went to babysrus with my husband and ALL the other high chairs feel so unstable. Give them a little shake and they look like they can tip over. The Peg Pergo was the only one to stand up to the shake test. I think it's the bar at the very bottom that the other high chairs don't have. This chair feels very stable and I don't feel worried about leaving my daughter in the high chair watching "your baby can read" while I take a shower.

I absolutely love this chair. I bought it when my daughter was six months and regretted not buying it earlier. I love the fact that the tray is dishwasher safe, easily cleaned by hand also. My husband loved that there was practically no assembly required! Very well-constructed and super safe.

My child is a year old and has been using this product for about 6 months. This is a GREAT high chair, it is easy to clean, very comfortable, and he LOVES it. I also feel like he is very secure in it and can't slip down in it which I love.
