Comments about Phil and Teds Traveller Black:
I saved up to buy this so we could use it for a cross country move. After using it for only a few days (with a 10 month old) the mesh on one side started to fall apart. We packed it up in the bag and didn't end up using it while we moved, total pain in the neck. We used our junky old reliable pack & play instead. [...] Then we moved 3k miles away.I am SO disappointed not only with the Traveller but Phil & Ted's as a company. Their items are SO expensive and talk all this big talk like they are the greatest company in the world but they'll only help you out if you can prove that you gave them money. Also, it's not as easy to put together as they claim it to be. It's obviously not that durable as it started to come apart after less than 24 total hours of use.
Great when set up

Comments about Phil and Teds Traveller Black:
We travel frequently and thought the 6 lb Phil and Teds Traveller would be a great alternative to a bulky 20 lb pack and play. One of my 20 month old's favorite features is that you can open it up on the side allowing him to climb in and out by himself. I like the mesh netting that covers the top for outdoor use, and the included stakes for keeping it steady in the grass. When our son was little it always bothered me that there was no way to attach a crib or play yard sheet to the matress since it slides into a pocket. He had no problem sleeping on the nylon, but I would have prefered to use a sheet to protect it from spit up and snot. Now that he's older I can have him lay on a blanket. Setting it up is time consuming. By the time you get all the polls in their correct slots, blow up the matress and force it into it's pocket, you might just be ready to take a nap in the thing yourself. Taking it down requires you to slide out all of the polls, squeeze the air out of the matress, and try to squish all the pieces back into the carrying bag. Yes, it can be done, and it gets easier with practice. Is it something I would do every day? No. There have been times when I've thought about taking it to the park or the beach, or even setting it up in the back yard, and decided not to. The time and effort of setting it up and taking it down just aren't worth it. For a week long trip to Grandma's it's definitely worth the trouble though.
Awesome Purchase

Comments about Phil and Teds Traveller Black:
We have been using this product since September 2009. It is amazing. Super lightweight as advertised. I don't know what is going on with the other two reviewers, but let me tell you (a) it does fit into the bag it comes with if you disassemble it as required when you are not using it and (b) we have not had any black dye come off on us, the baby or the linens we use in it. It is such a great product because it is so mobile and great for indoors or outdoors (camping). Highly recommend this ([...] sells for discounted price too).

This product looks great and is super light weight but, it is hard to get used to...
***It DOES NOT fit in the bag that is provided, be prepared to buy another carry bag. In addition, it is hard to set up. Maybe as we get used to it, it will get easier but otherwise I only recommend it because of its look and light weight...nothing else is great about this product.
