I just ordered this travel crib from one of those companies that you need a "membership" to buy from, for less than 1/2 the price sold here! [...] We are going to the beach next month for several weeks and staying in a 1 bedroom condo. I'm hoping that this will be perfect for my 8-month old who likes to roll around when he sleeps. My baby is also very tall for his age (98%), so I'm hoping this works out for several years before he outgrows it.

The second time we were breaking down this tent, the material ripped in a big way. [...] We can still use the tent, but it's annoying. The material is very flimsy.

I have nothing but rave reviews to give this product. That other reviewer obviously wasn't looking for a TRAVEL crib, which this is. It's made to be lightweight enough to take on the airplane and make it to your destination in style. We have taken it to grandparents' houses, across the country, to Mexico and even all around Costa Rica -- backpacking. It is amazing. OUr baby, who rarely sleeps at all even at home, slept "like a baby" in this thing. It is a bit of a pain to put together, but once it gets broken in it sets up faster. Seriously, this thing made our travels possible. And fun! Yes, it's expensive. But you get what you pay for. Oh, we did decide to put the mattress outside its intended pouch, and put a lightweight blanket around it. Works like a charm.

This is the most over priced item I have bought. It’s basically a tent for your baby to sleep in, made of cheep material. The padding inside is very thin and you have to manually blow it up with your mouth. It’s not easy to get enough air inside for it to be comfortable padding. For the price you would think they would at least include a hand pump. Also because it is so light weight you have to literally nail it into the ground to ensure it will not fall over. Ok, so that means I have to use it outside on the grass only. If the baby is not rolling over much yet it is still ok to use. The material is basically the same as tent material. Very thin. If you’re looking for something to replace the pack n play, look elsewhere. This product does not even come close. If you’re looking for something to use by the pool or on the beach this may work but there are much cheaper (and better) alternatives. Did I mention it’s not the easiest to put together. .. the assembly requires 2 people. Overall, I think this is totally over priced for what you get. [$], are you kidding me!
