i used this for my son and he did have spit up issues etc and congestion as a baby, he is now 3. my daughter 1yr old, she doesnt have congestion or spit up issues, but uses this wedge and sleeps great! :)

The first 3 months of life, my baby had bad acid problems, espically at night. We bought the wedge and it was great for keeping the milk down in his stomach when he slept. The only problem is the wedge was a lot firmer than the mattress and my son develop a really flat head. If i was to use this product again i would tuck it under the mattress rather than under the sheet.

We bought this for our son (who has GERD) when he transitioned to his crib. Before, in his bassinet, he'd been using an inclined sleep-positioner. Works great. He tends to sweat a lot, but this doesn't cause him to overheat and sweat more.

My 1st two children never liked being flat, so I thought this was a great concept. In fact it is, but the design is a little poor. It says non skid, but with the crib sheet pulling at it, it makes it move some. This could be easily fixed by putting RV shelf liner between it and the mattress. I did go ahead and take mine back instead of using it. I don't know if it would have helped the baby or not. The reason I ultimately took it back was because the sheets just didn't fit well with this under them.

I wish the had a version that safely went on top of the sheet.

We are very pleased with this product. It does exactly what it's meant to. We've noticed a difference in our 3 month old daughter's reflux issues since having her sleep on this incline. It fits perfectly in her pack n play as well as her crib.

I am a first time mother, and right now my baby is 8 weeks old. Several mothers I knew had recommended using a crib wedge for reflux. I like that this one is the same width as the crib mattress. And you can't beat the price. We put it under the mattress because it's easier for the sheets to fit. I haven't noticed our baby having any reflux problems, so the wedge may or may not be making a difference. He slept in the pack n play the first 6 weeks without a wedge. I would have given it a better review except for the sliding issues. Our baby is swaddled in a blanket, and whenever he kicks a lot, it causes him to slide. This morning he slid all the way to the middle of the crib and the blanket was covering his face! Very scary!! Today we are going back to the swaddle wraps with velcro. If you're looking for something that will work long term, this is the product to get. I researched other products, and the way they were made, they were only meant to be used for the first couple of months. This can be used for as long as the crib mattress is used, well into the toddler years. Just please be careful with the sliding. Maybe a towel rolled and placed at the feet will help. We are going to try that tonight also.

This is a great idea to prop up while sleeping which helps baby sleep. But - it slides when you try to put the sheet around it. It says it's anti skid but it's not.

My daughter is now 5 months old but since she was a newborn she had a lot of drainage when I laid her flat. Until I bought this product I had to incline the whole matress in her crib. Put the incline under the sheet, not over. It stays put, and so does my daugther, well at least enough to help with her sinuses. Side note...I use jersey fitted sheets for her crib. They are a bit stretchy and allow room for this incline. The tight cotton sheets (that often come in bedding sets) might not be as accomidating. Just keep that in mind.

I'm staring at the package and the directions are clearly to put under the sheets---not the mattress! Even tried under the mattress and it barely lifted it at all. My 10 week old slid the entire length of the crib and we found her scrunched up at the foot of the crib a couple hours after being on this wedge. I was really hoping this would work, but I think it's very unsafe! I gave it a couple tries and each time the same thing happened. I guess she is too wiggly of a sleeper for this product!

Our son has problems with GERD(Gastroesophageal reflux disease)and he is 7 months old now. He was doing pretty good until we changed his formula. He started spitting up a little bit of formula every now and then and when we put to sleep he would not sleep very well as he would get up every few hours and sometimes would just get up crying, until last night. We never thought of buying this product before because he was doing pretty good. We were tired of the restless nights(about one months worth) and we really got worried it was something else other than GERD, but after buying this pillow yesterday we were amazed to see our baby sleep through a whole 7-8 hour stretch without waking up! When you first take a look at this product at the store you think "come on really, this thing?" It looks cheap and not worth the money, but if your child has problems with GERD, you really want to get them this product. You have to be sure that this(GERD) is the problem because if it's not it will most certainly not help your child. IT'S AMAZING!! We are so happy that we could provide some comfort for our child and this product really works!! Well let me not say it only works for children with GERD because that was our problem and if it works for that then why not with the other advertised issues. TRY IT! What have you got to lose, you can always return it! Good Luck! BTW- It goes underneath the sheet, NOT THE MATTRESS!

My 6 wk old son has acid reflux and can not sleep flat on his back because it is too painful for him. Because of that, we had him primarily sleeping in his swing at night so he could get some sleep. I bought this for his crib thinking that I'd try anything to ensure his comfort, and he had a GREAT night's sleep. I put it under the sheet in his crib and it's the perfect elevation for him. He did not slip and slide, like other reviewers said, but I'm sure when he starts to roll over it might be an issue until he gets used to the inclination. The neat thing about this product is that you can put the baby's head way up on the wedge for an increase elevation of the baby's upper body or further down for a slight incline (like for when they get older or are just congested). I am definitely going to buy another one for his Pack N Play for when he stays at my MIL's.

Our newborn son has silent reflux and this is an amazing product. I have not put it in the crib yet since he is still sleeping in our room, but I put it in the Pack N Play and its great.

I read some of the reviews and the directions clearly state to put it under the SHEET. It fits great and is at a wonderful angle. I wish I would have had this for my first son (who constantly spit up and needed to be kept upright a lot!).

I love that this is the same size as mattresses so it fits right.

With my older son, we tried to elevate his mattress with books and other items and it never worked well-this is great!

My child was about 4 weeks old and had a lot of drainage. He would choke on it. He only wanted to sleep in the bouncy seat in our room. We bought this wedge to go under his sheet in the crib and he sleeps great! It keeps him elevated enough that he is comfortable.

My son (3 months) hates the positioners that have side wedges- he's a squirmy one. This is a great solution. It's wide enough to take up the whole width of the crib so he can't fall off. He breaths much easier- less wheezing and grunting, and sleeps longer with this gentle tilt than he does flat. Why do people keep saying it goes under the mattress? One even said to read the instructions. It says right on the product description on this webpage (and AGAIN on the box)that it goes between the sheet and mattress. So, putting it under the mattress, you're not getting the proper effect.

The people giving this a bad review because their baby "slides down the wedge" need to read the instructions. This wedge goes UNDER THE MATTRESS!! My son wont sleep without his mattress in his crib elevated. Great product. If you use it right.

I bought this product because my son had outgrown his sleep positioner and had also been diagnosed with acid reflux. It is a great product and does what it is supposed to do, but if you have an active baby I would advise against it. My baby is super squirmy and active at night, so he would always end up at the other end of the crib, having slid down the incline during the night. :( But I know if he wasn't so active, it would have worked perfectly.

I bought this product for my third child. It not only helped with when he was congested but he never had an ear infection. I don't know if keeping him elevated had anything to do with that or not, but the fluid didn't have a chance to "lay" in his middle ear. I swear by this product!

My baby has reflux and this product would not have been the product of choice between 1-2 months dealing with reflux. It is, however, the product of choice now that she is between 3-6 months and dealing with reflux. Very satisified with this product as it doesn't claim to be for medical purposes, but it is priced reasonably and serves the purpose. I even bought one and gave it to our daughter's daycare for future use when my daughter is done with it.

Our infant son was diagnosed with acid reflux and our doctor recommended we get an incline for his crib. We tried a few other products but this seems to work the best. He seems very comfortable with the wedge. I would recommend this to other parents.

Works great.. apparently most of the idiots rating this product don't know how to read instructions. THE WEDGE GOES UNDER THE MATTRESS!!!! NOT UNDER THE SHEET, NOT UNDER THE MATTRESS PAD, NOT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING IN THE CRIB! UNDER THE MATTRESS. Seriously, don't leave bad reviews on products YOU aren't using properly.

My baby has reflux so I bought this product to elevate her. It does not work well on top of the mattress because the baby will just slide down it. However, if you put it UNDER the head of the mattress it will make a gentle incline with the entire mattress.

We purchased this item for our daughter who has GERD and has outgrown her bassinet that had a built in incline(she's 12 lbs. now at 9 1/2 weeks). We've been using it for almost 2 weeks now and so far so good. We luckily have not had any of the problems others seem to be having with sliding down; she wakes in the same spot we lay her down in. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs their little one sleeping on an incline. Much more comfortable and better on the back than putting them to sleep in an infant seat! I'll admit it does look a little flimsy when taking out of the package, but it does do the job well and it travels well.
