Safety 1st
We at Safety 1st know how important it is to keep your baby safe and secure at all times. There are so many things babies want to touch or see up close but having the right childproofing devices in place can make a difference. This holds especially true when the child begins to walk or crawl on their own. Safety 1st has many baby safety products to choose from for every stage of the child’s life, including bed rails, locks, electrical plug covers and other devices that help to childproof any home. We also have monitors that help parents keep an eye on child when asleep. Safety 1st also carries hygiene items and functional accessories like car seats, step stools and walkers. All baby products are finely crafted and built for long wear.

Convertible Car Seats

After your baby is born, you will need a rear-facing infant car seat to bring him home from the hospital. Once he reaches a weight of twenty pounds, though, which is usually after his first birthday, he may be ready for a bigger, forward-facing car seat or a booster car seat. Buying another car seat, however, can prove to be expensive, which is why convertible car seats are popular. We offer convertible car seats from top baby gear companies, all of which can be converted from infant to booster car seats with ease. While there are different designs to choose from so you can find something that your child will really find it fun to sit in, all are made of high quality materials, ensuring the safety and comfort of your child throughout his early travels.

Comments about Safety 1st Complete Air 65 Convertible Car Seat Sugar and Spice:
We got this car seat for our daughter who is almost 17months, almost 20lbs, 32in tall. The material is very pretty not to mention soft and cozy! We love the extended rear facing, as we are going to keep her that way for the maximum amount of time! She is very tall and skinny for her age but right now we have it set on the lowest belt slot, so I don't think it would fit a newborn well. Rear-facing the straps are suppose to be at or below the shoulders and my daughter who's almost 17 months (and tall) shoulders are level with the lowest! I love the conveince of being able to adjust the height from the front when she needs it without unthreading it all! It is very tall! Which has it's good and bad... Good because it makes me feel that she will be very safe in it when she's closer to the 65 weight limit then most other car seats! The harness straps go up very high which also only aids in it. Bad because the air conditioning (or heater later) can't travel up and over that high back! So the poor little thing sweats so bad in the car! I drive a grand am and it fits pretty well rear-facing in the middle seat. We had to roll a towel up and place under so the line would be level with the ground but using the latch system and the towel I was able to get it VERY< VERY secure!! We have had SEVERAL car seats and this is by far the most secure seat we have placed in our car! Believe it or not, It doesn't even move a half inch, not really at all! Makes us as parents feel very comfortable! I have read many reviews and they all say that they can't get it installed secured and we had no trouble once we placed the towel! I think if you make sure it is level the way it is suppose to be you shouldn't have any trouble! One thing though is when installing rear-facing you have to thread the belt or latch through an odd place so you have to take the cover off the end of the seat. Once it's installed correctly though you can't put it back on. In order to tighten the latch belt secure I had
